Please make sure to read our rules and follow them!
We will allow people to show something they coloured in a book that had AI use if the book was bought before they knew it had AI generated content OR received as a gift by someone who didn't know this when bought it. Some people choose to not throw away gifts or things they unknowingly bought that have AI pages.
It's perfectly reasonable. So please, unless OP asks your opinion on this, keep it to yourself!
If something breaks our rules: Report and move on, do not start accusations or witch hunts either. Let us moderate and don't raise your cortisol over a relaxing hobby. This is supposed to be light and fun!

We have seen an increase in comments accusing artists and colourists of using AI and its becoming a problem.
In many cases these accusations are incorrect and end up targeting talented members of our community who have put real time and effort into their work. Discussions like these can quickly turn hostile and often lead to personal attacks rather than productive conversation.
If you genuinely believe a post may be AI generated content, please do not confront the poster or start a debate in the comments.
Instead, report the post and move on. The moderation team will review it and take appropriate action if needed.
Lets keep r/colouring welcoming, supportive and focused on sharing our creativity. Thank you for helping make this a positive space for everyone. đš

Hi everyone! Iâm part of the team behind ColorFable, a kids coloring and stories app thatâs now available on Android.
The app combines story-themed coloring sheets with brushes, stamps, and an option to create your own artwork. Children can save their pictures, and there are no ads. It includes free content and optional premium subscriptions.
Weâd appreciate feedback from parents who try it with their children:
âą Are the coloring tools easy to understand?
âą Which story themes do your children enjoy?
âą What feels confusing or could work better?
Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.acuitytechapps.colorfable&hl=en
If you give it a try, youâre welcome to leave feedback here or an honest review on Google Play. Critical feedback is welcome tooâit helps us improve.

I made a dark romance colouring book called Velvet Hours â 28 pages of broody characters, romantic scenes, dramatic interiors and generally questionable vibes đđ
I wanted it to feel a little more luxe too, so itâs printed on premium-feel paper thatâs really nice to colour on with minimal bleed-through.
Here are a few pages from inside đ€ Which one would you colour first?

đâïž Hey everyone! I recently published my first coloring book on Amazon, and I'm excited to finally share it! It's called Medieval Mosaic Coloring Book, featuring 30 fantasy designs with wizards, knights, dragons, and more.

We made a cozy-spooky Halloween coloring book. Think ghosts reading by candlelight, smiling pumpkins and cats in witch hats. Nothing gory.
Up front: the line art was made with AI image tools, then we picked, cleaned up and laid out each page by hand. I'm saying it so nobody feels misled.
The 3 page sample is free to print. No email, no sign-up, just a PDF: https://169-58-141-120.sslip.io/apps/creepy-coloring/
The full book is 50 designs, one per page, and it's $1 as a printable PDF on the same page. If you color one of the sample pages I'd really like to see it. Feedback on line weight and detail level is welcome too, since this is our first book.

Iâm excited to share Magical Unicorn Adventures, a coloring book for kids ages 4â8 who love unicorns, rainbows, castles, and magical fantasy worlds.
I created it as a fun, screen-free activity for little unicorn lovers and as a potential gift for birthdays or quiet afternoons.
Itâs now available on Amazon. If this sounds like something your child might enjoy, you can find it here: https://a.co/d/02I5Ag1T
Iâd love to hear what parents look for when choosing coloring books for their kids!

Weekly self-promo post, flaired AI since the character line art was made with AI tools and then designed into the pages by us.
The Halloween pack: 14 colouring pages of the Brainrot Bistro crew in costume (Spaghettino the Witch, Count Pizzaroo the vampire pizza kangaroo, Mummy Risottaur, Gnocchi Ghostino, Pumpkin Spice Lattecat and friends), a spooky word search, a haunted maze and a design-your-own monster dish page. 20 pages, US Letter PDF, $5: https://ko-fi.com/s/e68c9a7e64
If you'd rather try before buying, the free sample has one colouring page and a word search with answer key: https://ko-fi.com/s/37afcb177d
Bold, even outlines and big shapes, so it suits kids and anyone who wants a relaxed colour rather than a fine-detail page. Happy to hear what you'd want in a Christmas one.

I wrote the quotes for Almost Complimentary: Mastering Parent-Teacher Conference Feedback, an adult coloring book featuring backhanded compliments and teacher humor. This is one of the pages:
âIt takes real confidence to treat class instructions as optional suggestions.â
The idea is a private laugh after a long conference dayâor a funny teacher gift for someone who enjoys this kind of sarcasm. There are 40 designs, with AI-generated illustrations. The attached image is a digital page preview.
This is after-hours humor, not advice for an actual conference.
If this is your kind of humor, hereâs the book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HMMX1GWS

I'm looking for six French-speaking adults living in France to try one printed A4 page from Cosy Home: a living room, kitchen or bedroom scene. This is a free, unpaid prototype test, not a sale. Instructions and feedback questions are in French.
---
Bonjour !
⹠avoir au moins 18 ans et résider en France ;
⹠colorier pour son propre loisir et avoir acheté un livre ou un fichier de coloriage pour soi dans les douze derniers mois ;
⹠pouvoir imprimer une page A4 avec le matériel déjà disponible, sans rien acheter ;

Hello ...
I've been working on a coloring book that introduces children to different careers, and I wanted to share a few pages with the coloring community.
The free sample includes a Nurse, Potter, and Costume Designer. They're designed to help kids explore different professions while enjoying a creative, screen-free activity.
You can download all 3 pages for free here (no signup required):
https://teesdeck.com/free-careers-coloring-book/
They're part of a larger coloring book featuring 53 careers, which is also linked in the free PDF.
I'd love to hear which career you think would make a fun coloring page !

I designed this book around snowy storefronts, cookies, gingerbread and a sleepy bakery cat. The art is AI-assisted, built off of my designs and I checked every page by hand. The outlines are thick with lots of open space, so it's chill to color. It's a $3 PDF in Letter and A4 sizes.

Hi everyone! Iâm Violet, and I wanted to share a free printable mandala I drew called Muse. Itâs a sample from my coloring book, The Meaning of M, and includes a mantra and a short meditation to reflect on while you color.
The mantra for this page is: âI see the world in unique and special ways from which others can benefit.â
Download the free PDF here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NyxSrOyhYU53vRuDXikX7tRtUWaFpz5G/view?usp=sharing
The PDF also includes a little information about the book, but this page is yours to enjoy. No purchase needed. đ
If you color it, Iâd love to see your version! Feel free to share it here or tag me on Instagram u/LVdreamer.

Hey everyone! I run a small project called PageMint and recently put together a cat colouring book called Whiskers, Naps & Nonsense.
It's got 45 single-sided pages of cats being ridiculous. I kept the drawings simple because not everyone wants to spend hours colouring tiny details.
Here's the paperback if anyone wants to check it out:

Hi all! I am a single, disabled Mom and recently created a new coloring book business.
During some of the toughest times my college-aged daughter was facing (chronic illness, the passing of her Dad, and friends abandoning her when he did), coloring in Bold & Easy Adult coloring books gave her a getaway from it all.
After a year of brainstorming, praying, and preparing, I am beyond excited to see my own become a reality! Itâs called âLittle Fall Getaway.â
I would so appreciate you sharing my Sweet & Simple Coloring Book and liking and sharing my business pages on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Just look for @MichelleBeeDesigns.
The Little Fall Getaway Coloring Book is available to purchase on Amazon using the link below. This was so much fun to create! Her father passed away owing me over $41,000 in child support and no life insurance. Iâm hopeful that this business will help with our medical expenses, and improve our quality of life, while giving me a great creative outlet! Happy Coloring!

I'm testing an early concept called Portugal in Eight Colors: simple color-by-number pages for adult beginners using eight ordinary pencil colors.
These two samples show a tile pattern and a window with planters. If you're 18 or older, I'd appreciate feedback in the comments:
AI disclosure: the artwork and layout were designed with AI assistance and constructed programmatically as vector shapes using AI-written Python code. Numbers and color assignments were placed and checked algorithmically. These are not hand-drawn illustrations, and no text-to-image generator was used.
This is a review prototype with protective text across the artwork. Looking at the images is enough to give feedback. Please keep replies about the designs and don't share personal information.

Hi everyone!
I'm the creator behind Cute Creative Box, and I recently published Colour with Confidence, a beginner-friendly colouring workbook designed to help people develop their colouring skills step by step.
When I started learning to colour, I wanted a practical way to understand how colours work together, organise my markers, build palettes and practise techniques without feeling overwhelmed. That experience inspired me to put together this workbook.
It covers:
I wanted to create something practical that beginners could work through at their own pace, rather than just another book of colouring pages.
If you're interested, you can see the book and preview its interior pages here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0HGDQ7T4F
I'd love to hear from other colouring enthusiasts: What was the hardest technique to learn when you first started colouring?

(Two example illustrations from my book!)
I didn't want to make the same cozy bookshop 40 times, so I created a whole fantasy world instead â 2 free coloring pages
Picture yourself entering a bookstore under a huge glass dome, with towering shelves, spiraling staircases, and plenty of green plants around you.
On turning the page, you find yourself looking down upon a whole magical city consisting of libraries, bridges, waterfalls, and small bookshops hidden among the beautiful buildings.
That was the kind of experience I aimed to create with Midnight Bookshops.
When I started developing this coloring book, I made myself one rule:
In the same fantasy world there are 40 entirely different magical placesânot 40 versions of the same cozy room.
I wanted each page to be like coming across a new place; some of these places would be intimate and peaceful while others would be grand, mysterious and almost impossible to imagine existing in reality.
What they all had in common was a feeling of warmth, a sense of wonder, and the idea that one would enjoy spending an afternoon there.
I invested about 25 to 30 hours in developing and improving this collection.
The illustrations have been aided by AI, but the process involved more than just generating an image and then taking whatever result was produced.
I came up with the scene concepts/ideas and carried out about 4 to 5 rounds of generation and refinement for each illustration, constantly looking over the results.
I paid particular attention to things that I think matter in a coloring book:
â Architecture that makes sense. Staircases should lead to a destination. Bookshelves, bridges, windows, and furniture should fit in the scene.
- Detail that is enjoyable to color. It is complex enough to be engaging, but not so full of small patterns that coloring becomes frustrating.
â Each place has its own distinct identity.
I didn't want to use the same lanterns, moons, armchairs, and decorative items in each scene.
â Atmosphere and imagination: I aimed for a mix of cozy reading areas, magical architecture, beautiful views, and some little details worth spotting.
When I felt that something was wrong, I would go back and work on it once more.
For each of the 40 scenes I produced an illustrated companion page consisting of a title and a quote, so that the entire collection has the feel of a journey through a connected fantasy world.
I completely understand that AI-generated artwork isn't to everyone's taste, and I completely respect that. I'm being transparent about how the illustrations were made, and what I'd like to convey is the thought, creative direction, and care that were put into developing the collection.
Instead of just asking people to accept what I say about its quality, I should really let you give it a try yourself.
I've put together a completely free, four-page printable PDF sampler featuring two of my favorite illustrations:
The Glasshouse Bookstore is an elegant bookstore dedicated to botany and is situated under a beautiful glass roof.
A Cityscape of a magical bookstore â a fantasy world featuring bridges, canals, libraries, and beautiful architecture.
They are both full-size black-and-white coloring pages designed for printing on 8.5 by 8.5-inch paper.
Please comment I'll share the link to the free samples!
You don't have to buy anything; if you like the sampler and would like to find out more, the full 40-scene book is available on its own.
I really like to know your thoughts, particularly regarding which of the two places you would prefer to color.
So if you tried to picture your own magic bookshop, what sort of place would it be?
Also every advice is appreciated!
