Question Adelaide couples counselor recommendations after betrayal
My wife and I are in need of a counselor to help us see if we can save our marriage after her affair. She works with her AP, so my sense of safety is at zero.
Looking for a fair and unbiased counselor who can help us communicate past our fears and defensiveness, face the reality, and try to make a decision with clarity about moving forward (and how) or not.
Would really like somebody who uses EFT as a modality, and who is $250 or less per session. Although a good couselor, I'm sure, is worth every single penny they charge.
DMs or recommendations here are welcome.

Politics Ratepayers slugged six-figure sum for councillor bad behaviour
Adelaide City councillors cost ratepayers more than $150,000 in “elected member behaviour” legal fees in the past financial year, an increase of almost $70,000 from the previous 12 months.
The City of Adelaide annual report revealed a total of $154,815.79 in legal fees had been spent in dealing with potential breaches of behavioural standards and rules outlined in the Local Government Act. It marked a 78 per cent rise in fees from last financial year where the total cost was $86,759.

Question SA Dental Check Up Form
I’ve received a letter from sa dental that I’ve reached the top of the waiting list. They’ve given me a voucher to take to a private dentist. Does anyone know if it’s just the one appointment? I need a few fillings and just wondering exactly what the voucher does cover
Thanks

Question Favourite town to stay in McLaren Vale?
It’s my first time heading there and doubting between staying in McLaren Vale, Willunga or Aldinga. Understand they’re all pretty close to each other. Just wanted to see which town people prefer for nice vibes and just walking outside for a nice feed or drink.
Appreciate the recommendations!

News Details about last night's earthquake
At 2:26 this morning there was an earthquake in the Barossa.
Geoscience Australia has a national network with automatic monitoring and so had things to report promptly.
This morning we (well, my dad) did a location using our local network. Being so close to Adelaide we have quite a few seismic recorders in the area and we were able to locate the epicentre quite closely. Just south of Greenock.
You can see the details here https://earthquakes.mappage.net.au/q.php
Click the first entry in the list with "Nuiootpa 6km W".
There are a few pages of info. Phases shows all the sites used to get the location. You can see we have quite a few in Adelaide.
Magnitude shows the sites used to estimate the magnitude, which is very inexact. You get a range of different values, so best if you have more.

Question The parking situation in Jetty Road Glenelg is awful
I was in Glenelg this weekend. So it seemed was everyone else. Jetty road was packed with people, none of whom could pass each other on the tiny pavements. There's cars parked all the way along the road, taking up so much space. There isn't a single zebra crossing anywhere and only a couple of places to cross. People were crossing between the parked cars all along.
Why was so much space given to parking?
Why are cars allowed to park there at weekends?
Why is the road open to cars at all during the weekend?
I could understand if there were a few disabled bays and maybe a couple for loading but the rest is dangerous and ruins the whole environment.

News Delays on the Gawler Line - City bound
There are currently no trains running to Adelaide due to a train being stuck at Salisbury, due to a passenger issue, and awaiting attendance by an ambulance. Trains behind are stuck.
If you are south of Salisbury, suggest heading for the nearest bus. Trains will get moving again but delays will cascade throughout the morning.
EDIT: Trains have started moving again from 8am, expect delays as they work to clear the back log. Thanks @squidsareneat.

Question Adelaide Entertainment Centre Question
Hey everyone,
I've just got a question, I am attending an event at the entertainment centre in a couple of weeks that has a meet and greet option.
The meet and greet tickets are Venue / Pre-Paid Collection Outlet, I know that means I have to collect from the box offices out front.
My question is that it says that the box offices open 2 hours before a show. The show starts at 7:30 which means the box offices would be open 5:30, which makes doesn't make sense for the meet and greet that starts at 4.
Should I expect the box offices to be open so I can collect my meet and greet ticket?
Any feedback would be great!

Question Saturday soccer league
Hi all my lad wants to play soccer U/11s. We just went through the try outs at the local soccer club and it's for next year and the games clash with his Aussie rules football.
Are there any Saturday morning leagues in Adelaide preferably west but at this stage any where.
He was so excited that he was invited to play after his tryouts but he's devastated that it clashes with footy and he doesn't know which too play. I'm hoping he can play both.

Assistance Two fat chooks( St Claire) refusing to pay a child!
My 16-year-old son worked at 2 Phat Chooks in Adelaide and, according to his payslip, is owed approximately $400 in wages.
Despite repeatedly requesting payment, he still hasn’t received his money.
What I find particularly disturbing is the way this situation has been handled.
He received messages from the owner, Nicky Marinis.
The messages tell my son to contact Fair Work.
My son is 16 years old. He’s worked his shifts, received his payslip and simply wants the money he’s earned.
As a parent, I find this treatment completely unacceptable.
I contacted Nicky with a written letter, as instructed by the fair work ombudsman. She replied as disgusting as expected.
His grandfather waited outside the shop and didn’t enter, a staff member came out and he was completely respectful and just asked the situation be fixed.
I’m sharing our experience because I believe young workers deserve to be treated fairly and respectfully.
Why should a 16-year-old have to fight to receive his wages?
This what his first job and he is completely disheartened by this whole thing.
The payslip is currently almost 4 weeks overdue…Has anyone else experienced something similar?
