Apparently the 3ds is going into something called "downtime", is this something I should be worried about since I modded mine and downloaded a few things via hshop?

I bought it about a month ago and i have had some problems with it.

First i got the binding of isaac from the hshop and after a few runs i couldn't start the game

Then i got Pokemon omega and Pokemon ultrasun from the hshop too and also a few hours of game my files got corrupted.

U think it could be a problem with the micro sd or what can i do to solve it? :(

So i have a FL save file that I've been trying to get back for years but i just can't so I'm asking here for some advices

I have a copy of the original save file ( encrypted) as well as the original console nand backup and other stuff from when you mod your console and the og console but of course it doesn't do anything if i just put the save file on the console's sd card or if i try stuff with checkpoint so if anyone has achieved anything like this please tell me how you did it !

So I'm trying to mod my 3DS but cant get the FBI app (or any game app) to show up on my home screen for some reason.. I've been following what every guide i can find online is telling me I need to do but still... nothing :/ any tips on how to get this thing to work are greatly appreciated by this fairly technologically inept guy. My friend start to delete everything in fbi and delete some critical archive now the 2ds is useless i dont know how to solve it and he didnt do a backup any help pls

I no longer have my New 3DS XL.

Kinda regret selling it, I thought the price will get lower with time. But it turns out to be the opposite, a secondhand modded New 3DS XL's cost like a damn brand new one here in my 3rd world country. The demand must be really high for this thing here.

In short, my partner got me the Monster Hunter Generations NEW 3DS XL. I have already got a 128GB Sandisk microSD for it, and on the way, I have a Kingston Micro SD Card Reader to connect to my PC.

So I have everything that I physically need. However, I just wanted to ask if I should be updating the console to the newest version? Outside of that, I also wanted to ask what else should I download afterwards? Theme applications, etc, whatever people consider necessary or could be missed.

For some reason, around half of the games i’ve downloaded to my 3DS off the hshop will always crash a few minutes into playing them, which is really annoying because all the data deletes every time so I can never make any progress. Im not sure what the issue is, since other games work completely fine, and only select games have this issue. I’ve tried importing the seed for one of these games off FBI since I saw this was a possible solution to the issue, but every time I have tried it just gives me an error message. Should I just install games directly off my computer instead, or is there a way to fix this?

I'm new to this and I was planning on modding the 3ds myself as a first timer, but apparently the 3ds I got was already modded.

I was wondering how I would be able to dump my games in this 3DS since I can't seem to find Godmode 9 in it, and the only app I see is FBI.

I have no idea how to proceed with this or even just get to downlpading new games, but most importantly being able to dump my old game carts.

It was working perfectly yesterday, but this morning I turned it on and this is all that appeared on the screen. The last thing I did was play Pokémon Ultra Sun.

(The error also occurs if I remove the memory card )

I understand that this means there’s a hardware issue but is there anything I can do about it? Is the 3Ds just trash now?

Edit: pretty sure I figured it out; it wasn’t the hard ware but It was actually because I was downloading too large of a file

I made offline patches for Nintendo Badge Arcade, EUR version, and Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, US version.

The patches work with Luma3DS game patching. Codex was used extensively during development.

Press A when either game shows its original purchase dialog. The patch gives you the selected play pack or minigame without payment. Rusty keeps its original haggling and story progress.

For Nintendo Badge Arcade, install the EUR 1.3.1 update. For Rusty, install the DLC. Do not install "CTR-AOC-Patching: Rusty's Real DeaLC".

Installation

Install Luma3DS and enable Enable game patching.

Download the release ZIP for your game. Extract the ZIP. Copy its luma folder to the root of the SD card. Merge it with your existing luma folder.

For Nintendo Badge Arcade, select one release ZIP:

• Game-only: New badges stay inside Badge Arcade. HOME Menu badge data stays unchanged.
• HOME Menu export: The game exports earned badges to HOME Menu. This can replace GYTB badges.

Back up HOME Menu badge data before you use HOME Menu export. Switching back to game-only does not restore replaced HOME Menu badge data.

The public Nintendo Badge Arcade ZIPs contain only code.ips. They contain no game resources, badge artwork, or console keys.

Nintendo Badge Arcade modes

Nintendo Badge Arcade has three modes.

Vanilla

Vanilla needs only the public release ZIP.

It provides the original default catalog:

• 1,965 badge resources
• 384 regular catchers

Install Vanilla if you want offline play without extracting game files.

Expanded

Expanded has 406 playable machines. It has 2,078 obtainable badge resources.

Expanded combines these resources:

• EUR base game 1.3.0
• EUR update 1.3.1
• Full EUR allbadge_v131 catalog

The full catalog lets the collection viewer show historical badges. The catalog has 7,921 badge resources. Historical layouts stay display-only.

Expanded includes 398 original regular catchers. It also adds eight bonus catchers for 32 Arcade Bunny badges. The practice catcher stays separate.

Build Expanded locally with your extracted files. Do not share the generated ZIP. It contains game resources.

Custom Weekly

Custom Weekly uses one archived EUR week. It combines unique normal and bonus machines from all seven days.

Only that week's machines are playable. Each selected machine appears once. The practice catcher stays separate.

The full allbadge_v131 catalog stays in the private patch. It lets the collection viewer show historical badges. Other historical layouts stay display-only.

Build Custom Weekly locally with your extracted game files, week pack, and full badge catalog. Use boot9.bin only when an archive pack is encrypted. The build removes temporary files after it completes. It does not include boot9.bin or keys in the output ZIP.

Switching Nintendo Badge Arcade modes

Close Badge Arcade before you change modes.

Remove these previous patch files:

Do the patches contact Nintendo servers?

Nintendo Badge Arcade does not contact Nintendo servers.

The patch uses local resources for login and download steps. It blocks HTTP, socket, DNS, and background download paths. It saves the collection and profile in local signed backup files.

Rusty does not contact eShop during the patched purchase flow. It checks installed DLC locally. It does not block every other Rusty network function.

What is included in the public downloads?

Each public ZIP contains only a Luma patch folder.

The ZIPs do not include games, DLC, updates, badge artwork, archive packs, or console keys.

Long story short i want to catch celebi as a shiny before bank closes down for good, I want to know if I should citra or azahar for 3ds vc emulation for crystal.

Like which one emulates vc better? I plant to use an amount of 25 multi windows to increase my celebi shiny chances.

I just removed the microsd card and then factory reset my 3DS because of a theme I downloaded on anemone which made my screen freeze and I was unable to do anything. I'm starting to doubt that was the best course of action because I reinserted the microsd card and don't know how to reinstall anything. I don't have a PC that has a microsd reader or anything. Please help?? I'm kind of clueless on this

1.how do I have my progress for the ds games when ever I close the game it restarts like new

1. Are there 3ds Pokémon games for download if so where can I find them, non are on h shop

2. What are the best apps from H shop I should get / games I should play

So i just modded my new 3DS XL, installed all my old games and some new titles and i want to do everything on it except playing the games. Any cool ideas?

Is there a way to take save files from an emulator and add them to the 3ds and to take saves from the 3ds to add them to the emulator?

Hey everyone, I’m attempted to play PS1 games on my New 3DS XL. Specifically I’m trying to play Silent Hill 1, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and Crash Bandicoot. I’m using RetroArch as per the usual guidance you see

I have been experiencing a duplicated image which flickers in the top half of the screen. Hoping it comes across in the video, I also show my current settings.

I have tried messing with the following settings and I haven’t noticed any difference:
- Threaded Video (toggled on/off)
- Bilinear Filtering (toggled on/off)
- Vertical Sync (Toggled on/off)
- Video Filter (tried a few at random)

I’m wondering if anyone here had experienced this weird, distracting image distortion, and if so, whether you were able to solve it.
