I lived away from Youngstown for a long time, so there's an undeniable hole in my local knowledge, but even on this board, there aren't very many threads about her, much less about her being a product of the city. Is there anyone else who didn't know this or am I just 2000 and late?

I pop into Tangiers in Struthers from time to time. I have a few friends that live near there. My question is, why do the bartenders hate their jobs?? Literally the worst. If you aren’t a regular, good luck getting a drink. And to order food??? Give it a try if you got nowhere to be that day.

Valor Energy, an automobile transaction company pursuing a transformation into digital infrastructure, has purchased an 18-megawatt computing facility in Youngstown for a possible AI data center project.
Valor Energy purchased the 30,888-square-foot facility at 1911 Logan Avenue at the intersection with Halleck Street for $3.6 million.

The company plans to turn the existing site into an AI data center. Additional design, construction equipment and permitting work are required to execute this plan.
Valor says that by acquiring an existing facility rather than undeveloped land, this could shorten the timeframe for the project’s completion.

Someone I know and love is on the spectrum, and I've seen firsthand how challenging it can be to meet new people and build friendships, especially as an adult. That's what inspired me to create this group! 💚

My hope is to bring together adults on the spectrum who share similar interests and want to make friends, whether it's gaming, chatting online, going to the movies, grabbing dinner, or planning group outings.

This isn't a traditional support group. It's a place to socialize, have fun, and build genuine friendships!

I’m trying to figure out what this siren is. I heard it for the first time about three days ago at around 4:00 AM, and then heard the exact same sound again tonight at around 1:30 AM. I’ve never heard this particular siren before, and I’m not sure if it’s coming from a vehicle or some kind of city siren. My dad thought it might possibly be something from the prison or maybe a tornado/emergency siren, but we’re not sure. I’m posting the recording in case anyone recognizes the sound or knows what uses this type of siren in the area.

Did he steal the belt of Warrior? Did he act like the rules of winning the belt (by pinfall or submission) didn’t apply to him? Just trying to job my 10 year old memory. I remember when he lost the belt at Rumble it was the worst feeling as a child lol.

John Collins was appointed in February by Mahoning County Judge Anthony Donofrio as the receiver of SOBE Thermal Energy Systems. Collins, along with attorney Michael Moran, are running the company.

Collins said he has not talked with anyone at the Departments of Energy or Commerce — or with anyone associated with Senators Bernie Moreno or Jon Husted — since the President’s visit on Monday, when President Trump pledged the federal government’s help to keep SOBE running.

Collins is aware of what the President said, but says he has heard the same thing before — specifically from Senator Moreno.
