I am thinking about swapping out my outdoor cameras, right now i have the Wyze Cam v3, but i want to go solar route to free up some outlets. I am trying to decide between the solar cam and solar cam pan. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! Could someone please assist with the following. One of my Wyze indoor window cam's would not stay on the adhesive sticker . I am guessing because sun comes directly on it.

From what I remember I think the velcro on the camera itself melted and stuck into the adhesive on the window.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Is there something else to do ? thanks in advance

I'm about to call support but thought I'd ask here to see if I was wasting my time.

Had the solar cam outside for about 8 months. The lens totally filled with water. I dry riced it, it got rid of the water but all the dirt was left.

I then picked up a couple of new lenses and tried replacing it. None of the replacement lens had the right focal length.

So, I have a useless camera.

Now, I am also wanting a cordless doorbell cam, but will this have the same poor quality of repelling water?

Need recommendations for 512GB SD card for wyze window cam. TIA!

I have 4 wyze cams, various types. All of them have gone offline, though all are working. The one that tracks motion is still tracking. Creepy.

I have cleared cache, stopped the app, and unplugged the cameras and plugged back in. Nothing is working.

WTH?

My V4 is having intermittent issues. It goes offline at random times. I get error code 90, but my wifi connection is stable. I've had a lot of Wyze cameras, and this one has been a good one, but in the last 2 weeks or so it's having connectivity issues. All firmware and app updates are current. This feels like a bug.

I submitted a log this morning when it yet again, went offline for 20 minutes for no reason.

Choppy Cloud Event Playback

Status: Investigating

We’re still looking into the reports of choppy, skipping, or freezing playback when viewing cloud Event recordings in the Wyze app.

If you’re experiencing this issue, we’d still like to hear from you. Please submit a log from the Wyze app and **post the log number here**, along with any additional details you can provide about what you’re seeing.

Helpful information includes the camera model you’re using and whether the downloaded recording also appears choppy or if the issue only happens when viewing it inside the Wyze app.

Wyze Floodlight v2 Taking Longer to Focus

Status: Fix in Testing

We’ve identified the root cause of an issue causing Wyze Floodlight v2 to take longer than expected to focus.

A fix is currently going through internal testing. We’ll share another update as it moves through the process.

General microSD Card Issues

Status: Investigating

We’re continuing to investigate the different microSD card issues being reported, but we don’t have much new information to share yet.

Because users are experiencing different behaviors, we’re still working to collect enough data to better understand what is happening.

If you’re experiencing a microSD card issue, please **contact Wyze Support** and provide as much information as possible so we can continue collecting data and investigating the reports.

Thermostat Showing Offline

Status: Monitoring

The issue causing some Wyze Thermostats to appear offline was addressed in the Wyze app 3.23 hotfix released on October 5.

We’d like to do one final check with everyone who was affected. If your Thermostat is **still showing offline while using the latest version of the Wyze app**, please let us know and contact Wyze Support.

If we don’t receive additional reports, we’ll consider this issue resolved and remove it from future Fix-It Friday updates.

Started today, no recent config changes.

I'm Primary. Some cameras are set to Record events with vehicles. None are set to Notify.

Cameras shared with User2. Suddenly, User2's phone starts blowing up with alerts. Every time a car drives past, there's a "Complete Motion" notification. All. Day. Long.

My phone, meanwhile, is behaving. No alerts for vehicles, only people (as configured). Vehicles show up in timeline, as expected.

No option on 2's phone to change notification settings on cameras, only all-or-nothing for the whole app. Uninstall/reinstall (latest official iOS) changes nothing.

Hello -

I'm trying to install a Floodlight Ver1 that I've had for a few years.
I've got it powered in the house, so I can test/setup.
Power it on, and lights come on for a period, then shut off.
I cannot get ANY response from the camera. I don't see any lights, and when I press the Setup button (both brief, and holding for 10-15 seconds) I don't hear any announcement.
Is the camera dead out of the box? Maybe I need to do a factory reset?

Can someone please help me identify what this sound is in my V3 camera. The camera is sitting on the window sill and it sounds like windshield wipers going on.

Seems like since the latest iOS and watchOS releases the thumbnail previews stopped working for my watch and my phone. I posted in a separate thread and Wyze suggested reinstalling the app.

That does fix the issue, but only for a few days. I’ve reinstalled the app 4-5 times now and it’s getting annoying. Every camera has the little tutorial I have to go through and the micro-sd cards aren’t being recognized anymore. I’d love for the app to just work the way it used to.

I have a device that was part of a product test this past summer and when I tapped on the Wyze Test app to look at recent events, an error popped up saying “Wyze Test is No Longer Available.” I messaged support and the AI assistant said, “Since your device was part of a test group and is not officially supported for public use or setup at this time, you will not be able to set it up or access it through the current Wyze app. There is no available method to add unsupported test devices to the official Wyze app.” I use this device everyday…and now it’s useless? :(
