Moderator/Announcement With Ahmarra coming out soon, until how long should we require spoiler tags/flairs for content regarding the new world? Your choice

Also willing to take suggestions regarding options for the poll. I've done this previously and offered options for 1-2 weeks into test realm, but those weren't particularly popular. I'm capped to 6 options, so hopefully this is good enough

KingsIsle Update Summer Update Feedback - Next Steps

Hi all,

The development team has had an opportunity to review some of your feedback about this update. We also hear concerns about timing, and agree we need to work to respond quicker and in a direction players are asking for. We have begun making adjustments to our development process to better prioritize player feedback, but wanted to share some things already in progress.

  • We're rolling back the change to the Exclusive Pets and returning your ability to list them on Kiosks. We think there is work to do to make pet hatching and pet collecting more intuitive, but we shouldn't have been so quick to fix this bug when it's the functionality players have come to expect. We'll work with you to find a better solution, like informing players in-game of the key differences when hatching using Exclusive Pets via the Kiosk.
  • We've been refining our list of top player-requested changes, including things you think we should polish, improve, or revisit for bug fixes. We'll be opening these ideas up to player discussion, and give you a significant amount of time to weigh in how we revise systems. This lets quality of life updates be a collaborative process, and helps check us in case we miss the mark on a potential fix or improvement, like we did with Exclusive Pets on Kiosks.
  • We also hear your positive feedback around doubled rewards for Challenge Mode Chronicles, and more accessible Magic Weaving; we plan to make a few similar adjustments to other content, and will share these as soon as we've confirmed them.

Please continue to provide your feedback as we work through it. We have more in the works and will share additional updates as they become locked into our overall plans to address your ongoing concerns

Stitch Thoughts on this Stitch?

I had this robe stuck in my bank for a while, decided to give it a go... But I think I just made her an ice stitch instead of storm lol.

I do have plenty of good stitching outfits, but I'm so indecisive so I'll dump some other options I like. Feel free to give thoughts and suggestions here. I'm opting for non-traditional insignia stitch.

Ahmarra Spoiler Deciphering the pip cost of the new spells. Spoiler

Post image

So after watching the teaser trailer and bullying rattlebones a couple of times, I've come to the conclusion that the new spells are 9-pip aoes.

I'm kind of disappointed they aren't new 7-pip aoes (the orbs above the players' heads would move much slower if it was an 11-pip glow).

I could be wrong so if you want to test this out yourself, the glow is very apparent in the teaser trailer when the DOTs are being placed after the fire aoe.

  1. Tamar FoxTundra (Level 105 Ice)
  2. Vlad GriffinHollow (Level 103 Death)
  3. Molly JackalNote (Level 103 Myth)
  4. Wolf RavenBlood (Level 104 Fire)
  5. Karai BatSurge (Level 103 Storm)
  6. Vigilance FrogCloud (Level 103 Life)
  7. Kane MothStone (Level 103 Balance)

Been playing solo wizards of all schools through the Khrysalis main questline since around August 25th and it's time to put Morganthe, this arc, and this world to rest lol. I wanted to play all schools solo so that's how i ended up basically doing khrysalis 7 times at the same time lol. The Galleries was actual hell, ended up using a life henchman against Kravenly and Ghost Dog on my myth, life, death, and balance because I wanted to speed up things and i got tired of keeping track of Kravenly's and Ghost Dog's DOT nonsense lol, but i did every other fight without henchmen and i did the full Galleries henchmanless on my ice, fire, and storm. Everything else was 100% solo outside of having henchmen when I fought the first Kravenly fight on my life after some difficulties with one-shotting. If my calculations are correct, I've done 1,932 quests across my wizards in the past month.

Time to say bye to the longest world forever!

it's based on my DnD character — a jester turned paladin:). I know the robe is super common to see, but I like the jester hood and the shoes with it.

Pet/Hatching Is this pet good?

This is the avenging fossil from the death quest. I know the stats are low with nothing being above 220, but are the talents good? What do I look for to breed an even better version? Lvl 102 right now

Discussion Why is RA a bad spell?

I genuinely want to know the logic behind why Ra's stats are what they are.

Is there like some hidden potential that I'm not seeing?

I want to use him so badly but he's not worth 8 pips.

Questing/Quest Help Class

Hey guys. I am starting the game again after 10+ years being out. I was wondering what the best class is for the entire game. I used to play storm but I’ve heard fire and death are good. I plan to play solo mainly.

Any help is appreciated!!

Discussion Am i crazy or is healing yourself... kinda pointless?

If you're soloing healing seems useless. You spend pips to get health back, but now you have to wait to get pips back to attack, and in that time the enemies just hit you again. I also never make it to late game other than my 149 fire wiz from 2022 when I had my ex long distance gf to do the hard stuff with, cuz im casual and the crazy cheat stuff is a headache lol

so maybe its more useful in later arcs? But in arcs 1 and 2, the ones I play through most, self-healing just seems completely futile.
