Overland : I made a daily geography game where you drive across a blank map

Thumbnail overland.day
10 Upvotes

Every day you get a start city, an end city and a list of countries you have to drive through, in order. Something like Riga to Madrid through Belarus, Poland, Germany and France.

The catch is the map is blank except for the country you start in. No borders, no coastlines, no destination, so you kind of have to know where things are. You draw the route yourself and it follows real roads. Countries show up as you reach them, and if you end up in one that’s not on the list, that attempt is over. You get 5 tries, and your score is how many km you drove compared to the shortest possible route.

When you finish, the whole map comes back and shows what you passed on the way (heritage sites, cities, rivers you crossed).

It’s free, no account, works on phone. It’s still a bit rough in places, so I’d really like feedback, especially if a route feels impossible or the roads do something weird.

I made Draped, a free daily guessing game like Wordle where you guess what’s hidden under a sheet

Draped is a free daily puzzle game where you guess the hidden object under a sheet in six tries. It’s a bit like Wordle, but with a 3D object instead of a word.

How it works:

  • Every day there’s a new everyday object under a sheet, the same one for everyone.
  • You get a cryptic clue about where you might find it, and a ruler showing how tall it is.
  • Each wrong guess swaps in a thinner sheet (wool, cotton, then satin), so the shape gets clearer.
  • On your last guess it’s under bubble wrap and you can just about see the colours.
  • Spin it round and zoom in for a closer look. You can replay the last week from the calendar.

It works on phone and computer, with no download, no sign-up and no ads. I made it myself and would love feedback, especially on the difficulty and the clues. How did you get on?

Sufuku - like sudoku but numbers repeat

Every row, column and region holds each number as many times as its value: on a 6×6 board that's one 1, two 2s and three 3s.

One board a day. Difficulty climbs with the week, so today's harder, but you can start with Monday's puzzle for a warmup.

Where's My Brain ? - How far can you get in 4 minutes?

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a little browser game called Where's My Brain? 🧠

It has 12 quick brain mini-games that test your memory, logic, attention, and speed.

The idea is simple:

  • ⏱️ 60 seconds per game
  • 🧠 The faster you solve, the harder it gets
  • 🏆 Compete on global and country leaderboards
  • 📱 Free to play, especially fun on mobile

There's also a 4-minute Brain Test to see how far your brain can go.

I'd love to see how people do!

Try it here: https://brain.ydwgdev.com

If you give it a shot, drop your score or brain rank in the comments. I'm also happy to hear what feels too easy, too hard, or just plain frustrating.

Thanks for checking it out!

I made a free browser curling game (2D and 3D) and need curlers to tell me what's wrong with it

Built it solo. It follows World Curling rules, including the no-tick rule, and you can pick 2D or 3D before a game. Plays in the browser on phone tablet or desktop.

Curlers: what feels off, or what did I get wrong?

Check out this website I made. It has daily baseball save and comeback opportunities, mini games and trivia too. Fun little dumb daily games. The original daily game is supposed to have a bit of a playstation 1 / gameboy feel to it.

Free to play, no-ads, no sign-up baseball games

Let me know what you think! Open to suggestions. Thanks!

Mooonsters – Free multiplayer .io game where classic monsters fight to survive the sunrise!

Thumbnail
mooonsters.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a little browser game I've been working on in my spare time. It's called Mooonsters, and I've probably spent way too many evenings making it, haha.

It's a free multiplayer .io-style game with pixel art graphics where you can play as vampires, werewolves, mummies, zombies and other weird creatures, each with their own abilities.

The main mode is called Lord of the Night (yes, inspired by an old reggaeton song, haha).

The idea is simple: survive the night!

The problem? The sun is rising, the safe areas are shrinking, and everyone else is trying to kill you. You'll have to fight, hide in the fog and use your monster's abilities to survive.

Matches last around 10 minutes, and even dying doesn't necessarily mean you're out. You might get a second chance as ectoplasm!

It's still a personal project, and there's plenty I'd like to improve, but I'm really happy to finally share it.

If anyone gives it a try, I'd love to know what you think, especially which monster you enjoyed playing the most!

Thanks for checking it out! 🦇

[SPORT] 5overs daily cricket game

Thumbnail
5overs.uk

A free daily game where you captain the death overs of a real T20 chase. Today: Stokes and Smith need 46 off 30, and you've got Bumrah

Every day there's one real chase from the last 5 overs: the real batters at the crease and the real bowlers in your attack. You pick who bowls each over, the delivery for every ball (yorker, slower ball, bouncer, carrom ball and more) and the field.

Every call is graded against thousands of simulated finishes built from about 64,000 real death-over balls, so you're judged on your captaincy, not just the luck. At the end you see whether you beat what the real captain did.

Free, no sign-up, works on your phone:

5overs.uk

I'm building this on my own in my spare time, so honest feedback is very welcome. Does it rate your favourite bowler fairly? Post your grid if you defend it 👇

Everyone gets the same daily puzzle. Unlimited mode and the archive are also free, with no sign-up or download.

Thumbnail

Three short daily games about guessing, played right in the browser:

- How Long: how long did something last?

- What Year: when did it happen?

- How Old: how old was someone (or something) at the time?

Each game is 5 rounds. The closer your guess, the more points you get (up to 500 per game), and every answer comes with a short fun fact. There's a new set every day, the same for everyone.

I rebuilt Tank Wars (1990, DOS) for the browser. One hill, up to four tanks, the wind changes every turn.

Thumbnail

I'm the maker. Free, runs in the browser, nothing to install.

I lost a lot of afternoons to Tank Wars as a kid, so I rebuilt it. You set the angle and power and lob shells over the mountain, and the wind changes every turn. Craters stay. Dig out the ground under a tank and it drops.

The maps switch between canyon, mesa and a water gap.

There are three ways to play:

  • Solo against 1 to 3 CPU tanks. ROOKIE, LOBBER and WINDMASTER are the difficulty levels, and VIPER, HAMMER and BRUTUS fight free-for-all.
  • Hotseat for 2 to 4 people on one keyboard. There's a "P2 – LOOK AWAY" screen, because some of us remember.
  • Online with an invite code.

The homepage plays a live demo match if you just want to watch tanks embarrass themselves.

What would you add from the original, or from Scorched Earth? I already know someone will say MIRVs.
