Anybody recommend any of the strip buffets for dinner?? Specifically the Wynn Buffet??

Hi there!
I’m looking for a fun spot on the strip to take my 8 year old for her birthday. Anything over the top will get extra bonus points. 😅
TIA!

we looked into westgate las vegas resort rooms near monorail connections for a weekend trip to see if using the train was actually faster than paying surge pricing on rideshares every night. walking straight out from the lobby to the station platform took about two minutes and got us down to the center strip in under ten minutes without sitting in boulevard traffic.
having a working mini fridge and a quiet room layout across westgate resorts properties makes it super easy to recharge between events. what transit setups or train routes do you guys usually rely on when staying just off the main boulevard?

I already been to Palomino on this trip and planning on going again. Should I go back or try Little Darlings?
Fully nude is important.

Hey Las Vegas, We need to talk about who your local venues and promoters are platforming.
Promoters Hidden Kollective and the venue Cheapshot are currently scheduled to host an upcoming show featuring Russian DJ Roman Messer on Saturday, November 14. Messer is a close friend and associate of Alexander Komarov—a Russian DJ who made notorious anti-Ukrainian statements and wished death upon all Ukrainians. Following a massive public outcry and extensive coverage by the authoritative music magazine Mixmag, Komarov was kicked out of the world-renowned ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) in the Netherlands, and his associate Messer faced the exact same backlash.
While Ukrainian civilians, children, and families are dying under the rubble of Russian missiles, artists like Roman Messer are actively used by the Kremlin's machine to normalize the war and whitewash Russia's image on the global stage. Messer has a documented history of performing at official state-backed Russian events (such as propaganda shows in Moscow featuring broadcasts of Vladimir Putin), supporting the regime's murderous policies.
Now, why is he coming to Las Vegas? Simply to cash in. While his homeland bombs hospitals and apartment buildings, Messer travels to the US to collect easy cash and fund his comfortable lifestyle, acting as a soft-power cultural ambassador for a terrorist state.
Las Vegas shouldn't be a safe haven for Kremlin-backed apologists and blood-money chasers.
What you can do:
Reach out to Cheapshot and Hidden Kollective. Let them know that hosting pro-Kremlin acts is unacceptable.
Spread the word. Don't let them sweep this under the rug.
Music and nightlife should never be a laundering machine for war.

Excited to return for excellent Thai food paired with amazing Riesling! Can anyone tell me please about the wine list at the Sahara versus Flamingo locations? Are they both the same or does the Sahara location have the majority of the high end Rieslings? I love Thai food and assume the menu is the same at both restaurants, but I definitely want to visit the location with the best selection of Rieslings!
Any advice would be appreciated!

I usually see peppermill recommended here. I've been meaning to go for a long time and we had a really weird experience the other night. I'm wondering if we just got them on a bad night, or it it's not good anymore. My meal was cold and not that good, the ice tea tasted like odd brown water, the drink didn't arrive until after our meal was almost done (and was $18 for a bland mai tai), and my friends said their meals were not great either. They also messed up my order and forgot the onion rings, although when they came out they were the only actual good thing we got.
Should I give them another chance? Or are they just overrated? I didn't expect the world but I didn't expect it to be worse than even a Dennys.

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m new to California and have never been to Las Vegas (LV) before. I’m thinking about visiting and would love some suggestions on what to do, where to eat, cool places to explore, and how to make the most of the experience.
I’m also down to meet up with friendly, like-minded people if anyone’s interested in hanging out, grabbing some food, exploring the city, or just having a good time. Going solo is fine, but meeting some cool people would make the trip even better!
Any recommendations or people up for joining? 😄

Hi, I’m looking to get a round of golf in with my brother and father plus our two spectators. Since Vegas golf is currently in high season, I’ve nailed our best bets to three courses: Painted Desert, Los Prados, Angel Park and The Club at Sunrise. We’re also looking to just play twilight Monday (mostly for the price) since we’ll be enjoying the night on Sunday. Thank you.

Hi there 27 f here going to Vegas in the beginning of November. I have been to Vegas multiple times but I haven’t ventured out into bars yet. I would love some recommendations and if they have a good dancing vibe and or music, that is always a plus. Thank you!

Planning on taking my first trip to Vegas the weekend before F1, and I got both the Park MGM and the W booked for pretty much the same price. Will be for 3 nights, arriving extremely late on our first night.
Which one do y'all think is better? I know the rooms at the W are bigger, but the Park MGM location seems really nice. Is the smoke smell noticeable in the W due to being connected to the Mandalay? Does the area around the W feel safe? How close is the W to the tram and the Duece? And lastly, do you think we'd really notice the difference in distance?
Thanks for any and all advice!

Trip Report for a mid 40s Canadian couple of anyone is interested in reading. We come twice a year for context
-MGM Grand is where we usually stay. Solid hotel, clean rooms with decent space. I will say, the online check in always gives us lower floor rooms, so we check in at the desk usually. Pool was great this time of year as there were hardly any kids, which is a big win for us. My big issue with the Grand is, they won't comp me an old fashioned. Outside of that, always a solid hotel
-Superfrico party. We loved this show and dinner. Fun, funny and the food was great. Very tender steak. We enjoyed this more than the Mayfair and we really liked the Mayfair last time
-Pieros, loved the service, atmosphere and everything about this restaurant but the food was just ok. We were really let down as this came with massive recommendations. I will say, portions are huge
-Gonzalez Y Gonzalez in NY. We come here for a quick meal, always great
-Bills vs Raiders, year we're Bills fans and us Bills Mafia took over Allegiant Stadium. It was awesome and such a great venue
-Penn & Teller, solid magic show. We were exhausted that night so maybe we didn't give it a fair shake. Penn seems to ramble a lot and can lose the trick at times. Teller did this one trick with a tank of water and some coins, if you've seen it before you know how awesome it was.
-Golden Nugget, we always do a couple of nights on Fremont and the Nugget is always a good hotel, second to only Circa on Fremont. We took advantage of the $200/2 night with $100 food & Bev. Absolutely fantastic deal. We were in the Rush tower and it was a great room, lots of space and comfort. We don't gamble much there as the casino is always packed, cramped and smokey but we still love the resort.
-Stadium swim, we walked over to Circa for a daybed by the pool. $200 min spend is a great deal for a daybed if you're gong to pool all day. Water was warm as pee. Great day!
-Vic & Anthony's, great steakhouse. I'm not putting it with the steer, SW or Carversteak but it was fantastic!
-Legacy club, absolutely beautiful rooftop bar. Always a must for us
-Saltgrass steakhouse, not great. Half a step up than your local pub on steak night. I wouldn't spend $50 a steak here. Not great at all
A few random thoughts...
Binions and 4 Queens are awesome nostalgic casinos. Love it there
Who the hell brings an infant on a smokey casino floor? I'm talking less than a month old
Lots of "femme de Nuit" out this trip. Fun for people watching for sure
1am and Fremont st is empty. I mean everything is closed up and the party is shut down. In fact, this was the least busy we've ever seen Vegas in the decades we've been coming.
No political BS. Didn't seen anything or hear anything, this was nice.
Well, that sums up a few highlights from our trip. Until next time!

Does anyone have pictures of the Golden Nugget back when Steve Wynn owned it? Especially from the 80s and 90s.
I’m really curious what the place looked like in its prime, especially the casino, restaurants, and other interiors. I’ve found a few pictures online, but not nearly as many as I’d expect.

Is anyone familiar with this and can provide more details? I’m not goth and don’t dress goth and am worried I wouldn’t fit in. I do enjoy techno and the subject matter so just trying to gauge the vibe. Thanks!

So let me get this straight. For a handful of tourists the flightpath loops from the airport west then up north past the airport and east again, terrorizing tens of thousands of homes with noise levels of 90 decibels because the whole time they fly at only 400 feet above ground for some crazy reason, which is 1,000 times more sound energy than most city noise ordnances of 60 decibels, at a frequency that is widely studied to have harmful physiological effects being between 4-20 Hz that cannot be avoided because it resonates straight through and into anything including your walls and chest cavity. This frequency band is literally what sonic weapons operate in. It's completely, utterly, totally, super bananas. It is destroying my mental health, my life quality, it is universes beyond unreasonable. Here are some possible alternatives: Hey, maybe fly at 800 feet and burn slightly more fuel. Maybe build a patch of concrete in the desert at the eastern city boundary, you don't need to land vertically landing tiny aircraft at an INTERNATIONAL airport for crying out loud and make the tourists take a 15 minute shuttle there. Fly over streets that are actually fully commercial properties on both sides. Why aren't we flying over the strip anylonger btw, was it inconvenient for hotel guests? This is absolutely bonkers

At the glass bar in PH. Left to per. Turned my chair backwards with my card in. Came back and they took my cash (tip) money and someone took my money. Did I do something wrong?

I’m heading to LV for the weekend. Three of us are going to play on Monday but we also have two spectators. Which courses in town allow spectators or will allow you to get an extra cart?

I do Fremont Street walkthru videos for YouTube, and I've been trying to connect with The Hush Puppy on Fremont. Last week, they were open when I was walking around, but they were closed before their posted hours when I went back to talk them in person after my walk.
Last night, I was there around 9:30PM filming, and they were permanently closed. The outdoor tables are gone, the door is locked up, there are ladders inside, and the inside tables are missing, too.
I was rooting for them and wanted to help with marketing, but they never responded to me. Perhaps they already knew their days were limited.

Hello Vegas!
I'm a Vegas native, grew up in Sunrise Mobile Home Park off of Walnut Rd. If you saw a spooky yard haunt there around Halloween at that mobile home park from 1997-2002, that was us.
I am on the hunt for old photographs of my father and possibly pictures that include my mother, Erica McElfresh (Bartnik) and I with him. His name is John McElfresh, born September 16th, 1960 and died in 2012. The girlfriend he had left behind many of his possessions in their shared apartment when he passed or possibly threw them away.
I am posting a picture of John, Erica, and myself at a wedding circa year 2000 in hopes someone recognizes us.
Thank you in advanced.

Hello and thank you for reading. I’ll be attending the Frizzi 2 Fulci concert tonight and have some questions about the venue. First is what beers do you recommend? I get easily overwhelmed at breweries and want to try everything. Do they serve food? Finally, what’s the overall vibe? I’m all ears for anything else you would like to share.
Thank you.
