Been keeping a list of indexers that died since I got into usenet and it got way longer than I expected, about 60 so far.

The big ones everyone remembers: Newzbin2 and NZBMatrix (2012), nzbx and NZBsRUs (2013), nzbsooti (2015), town.ag (2017), PFMonkey (2018), nzbs.org (2019), Tortuga (2020), nzbndx (2024), NZBCat (2025).

Rest of them are struck through here if you want to scroll: https://usenetalmanac.com/indexers/ (my site, no ads)

Pretty sure I'm missing a bunch, especially the small ones that were around for a year and vanished. If you remember one that isn't on there let me know and I'll add it.

Also curious which one you guys still miss, and did any of you have a lifetime sub on one that closed?
