Look What I Found! So impressed with the glow on these 🤯
Not picked up any new pieces in ages and found these beauties, under daylight, 395nm and 365nm respectively.

Welcome to this month's theme in r/uraniumglass!
This month's theme: Mystery Piece
Most collectors have at least one piece that remains a mystery. You've searched catalogs, checked references, compared patterns, asked fellow collectors, and maybe even posted it here before—but the identification still hasn't been solved.
This month, we're showcasing those stubborn mysteries.
Maybe you know the maker but not the pattern. Maybe you know the pattern but not the maker. Or perhaps you have no idea what it is at all despite your best research efforts.
The monthly theme is optional and does not replace regular posting.
To participate, simply create a new post and use the Monthly Theme 💚 flair.
When possible, include both non-glow and glow photos.
If you're sharing a mystery piece, tell us what research you've already done. What references have you checked? What leads have you followed? What possibilities have been ruled out?

This is a bit different from my usual posts, but my wife picked up this Hall’s Superior ball jug for a friend, and naturally, I had to do a little research. One thing led to another, and before long, I was down the rabbit hole learning about the history of this pattern and its connection to the Jewel Tea Company.
What we know today as Autumn Leaf was introduced in the 30’s, when Hall China began producing pieces for Jewel Tea’s home-sales program. The pattern has been referred to by several names over the years, including Autumn, Hall, Jewel, and Autumnal, before Autumn Leaf became the established name.
Jewel Tea customers could acquire these pieces through the company’s sales program, and the pattern became a familiar fixture in American kitchens. It remains a popular collectible today.
And apparently, the pattern has quite the following! There’s even a dedicated organization, the National Autumn Leaf Collectors Club (NALCC), founded in 1978. The club brings collectors together to share knowledge, preserve the pattern’s history, and celebrate all things Autumn Leaf. I had no idea this pattern had such a dedicated collecting community!
The backstamp on this jug reads Hall’s Superior Quality Kitchenware and includes the Mary Dunbar’s Jewel Homemakers Institute mark, providing another interesting connection to the Jewel Tea story.
Under 365nm, the glaze fluoresces bright green, consistent with a uranium-bearing glaze. Out of the 50 or so pieces my wife found at the antique store, only 5 of them gave a glow. Really depends on when the piece was made (1930s to 1970s).
That’s all I know. Any errors in the above, please let me know. 😀

It is so hard to find anything good these days down here in Australia. But today was my luckiest day in ages. I found these! I'm over the moon, I didn't even care about the prices!

Turtles are my wife's favourite animal and with our Ann coming up I saw these and snatched them. Blind bought both though since I was actually looking for carnival glass and left my light at home.
I've seen the pendant turtle on this subreddit before so I was excited about that. And in the same shop I found the ash tray but was NOT expecting this.
What the heck... ORANGE GLOW‽ I was sure it was a glower but not like this haha.
Very cool additions to our collection. She's gonna be happy about it for sure.

So excited to receive my order from Warren Glass Art and wanted to share with you all, since I was introduced to the artist through this sub. The blue pumpkin glows the least but it's still my favorite! The curly stem is just *chef's kiss*
I see there's already more pumpkin colors available now, so we'll see how long I can resist making another order ;)
BTW it was all packaged incredibly well and shipped fast, would definitely recommend checking out this artist!

I found this spice jar with the original lid and sticker today. I’ve done some research and know it’s depression glass, but I cannot figure out who made it as I’ve seen postings use the names Anchor Hocking and Hoosier. (I’m also unsure if Hoosier is a company, a pattern, or something else.) I appreciate any information on this!

What do you guys think? The Fenton piece is obvious, but is this black carnival glass? The blue glass has pictures with 365/395, it also ticks on the Geiger. What do you guys think?

I have this little cute vase, which I recently realized looks to glow a little in certain parts in the sun and under 365nm uv. Could this be uranium in the glaze, or could it be something else? I don’t have a Geiger unfortunately!!
I have no problem identifying glaze when the whole piece have it, but this one, I have no idea😂

Hi Everybody!
I am a Glas cutter, and I working in this profession about 20 years. The traditional kind of glas cutter, like Edo Kiriko, decoration stuff, whiskey glass and so on.
I am from Hungary, and the first time I have seen uran glass, was in Germany.
Actually I am just curious if someone in this group have experience to work with uran glass, knows a person or any kind of workshop where they cutting the surface of uran glass, and not just lead, and other kind of glass.
Actually I have a workshop where I would like to make this kind of glass as well.
But I have never seen anybody working with uran glass in this profession, and I have some question.

Beautiful white opaline cased in blue-creme opaline. I love the enamel work on this cup. Wasn't sure if it would glow when I bought it, but it's a bright one! Either Bohemian or French, but I'm leaning towards the former.
