Had the opportunity to try this one, not blown away but also not disappointed.

Very sweet, the zkittlez translates well with a smooth candy gas on it.

Burns really nice, thick creamy smoke, 8/10 overall.

First of all, thanks to everyone who even bothered to open this boring looking thread. After all, I'm asking YOU to do me a favor, by answering the following questions. The island nation of the UK is, despite its proximity, a relatively exotic place to me, and I hope you can teach me some new things here.

My questions: 1. Let's say you're walking down a busy road in your closest city with a lit J in your hand. Just that, casually strolling and inhaling. How probable is the chance that people around you will complain, or worse, threaten you with legal action? What if a cop spots you?

1. Is it easy to become a medicinal cannabis recipient in the UK? Here, in Germany, it's as straightforward as buying beer from the supermarket. (please let me assure you: I'll be always abiding by any present laws when I have the chance to visit your country, I'm not asking with any ulterior motives)

2. Can you realistically expect a decriminalization, or even full legalization, within the next 10, 15 years, given the current political trends in your country (of which I know nothing of)?

3. What is a 'good' price for a gram of bud at your local black market? In Germany, the black market for weed has nearly disappeared thanks to super-cheap pharmacy drops. We are like a poster child cannabis import nation. :)

I’m an American who lives in Seattle. Today, I decided to try the “UK Cheese” strain from a local dispensary in the form of a preroll. Of course, it’s been legal here for quite a while now so the purchasing process was hassle-free (other than needing to flash my ID upon entry).

This legendary strain is associated with the British rave scene of the 90’s, which is an undeniably iconic era in the history of EDM.
Right away, it smells like orange peel and sawdust- none of the funky, cheesy smell it’s famously supposed to have. Even though it was labeled as UK Cheese, I’m not confident about the genetics or authenticity of what I purchased. Either way, it was quite good to smoke and produced an uplifting buzz.👍
This is my first time seeing this strain before, and I’m glad I had a chance to try it. I wanted to share what ya’ll’s weed looks like in this part of the world haha. Costs $12=£9 for two of em.

Grower: Maison O Caçapo
Strain: Zartier
Genetics: Sunset Sherb BX2 × Perm
Type: hybrid (I tend to feel indica leaning) Format: 5g jar sourced from Coffeeshop Balou €140/5g =€28/g. On the lower end for a good 5g deal. Shoutout to Balou they seal their jars. Other coffeeshops store their Cali in mason or Tupperware just like their Dutch flower. Not cool.

Consumption method: 0.25 g joints, pure

Nose: Creamy sherbet, sweet doughy earthiness, and a dank flavour that reminds me of when I first started getting high on “indoor hydro chronic”. Mustiness almost. I can’t get enough of it. doughy undertones, gas, etc. The profile is subtle rather than aggressive:

which notes come through first?: There is a gentle sweetness underneath, but it never becomes the sort of candy profile that hits you in the face. For me the overall impression is creamy doughy sweetness with just amthe right amount of gassy musty dankness that just compliments so beautifully. YMMV.

Smoke: pure white ash colour, smooth inhale that translates into creamy grassiness with a hint of sweetness for me. There is a sweet doughy exhale but for me to br honest my overall impression on the exhale is more savory creamy. Maybe I’m not picking up much sweetness because I’m so to their other offerings which are Z forwards mostly. Smooth, no harshness. The smoke is think and mouth coating and velvety. Amazing

smoothness, harshness, cure, how well the nose translates to flavour.** On the inhale, I get **xxx

Looks: Very different to their Zoyard lineup. purples, autumn hues, I swear almost shades of red wine. Think trichine coverage and dank nugs, danker than e.g. Lemongiella or Yellow or Blue Zoyard. Lacking Zoyard orange calyxes.

Effects: onset is euphoric and relaxing. Develops into deeper relaxation I get zero anxiety. This developsnibtinjice body relaxation combined with a head high it not as pronounced. Yeah I think an indica leaning hybrid and character of the high: clear-headed initially but that dulls quickly into relaxed, comfortable in your seat feels.

Overall:
What can I say—I love what Maison O Caçapo are doing. Zartier is in my top 3, maybe even contender for my favorite. Burger it at Balou. Pre packed in jars. OR smell the buddies in a mason jars smell and check it realllllll good. You’d be surprised at the amount of Stalin Cali in Amst.

My main love affair atm is with Maison O Caçapo. I first tried their Yellow Zoyard and was hooked maybe 4 months ago. Since then I’ve hunted them down like collectible trading cards (fml and my wallet), but I try everything. Reviews will therefore vary, and I’m happy to provide more MoCaçapo content for those interested.

In this post I’m kind introducing myself as it’s the first in a series. I’m gonna structure ALL my reviews in a similar way so that those who are interested can look at them and they have a structured approach to my scoring.

Type : Indica-leaning hybrid (this gets interesting at the effects section)
Format : 7g jar, privately sourced (not from a coffeeshop), true price Euro 25 p/g though I’m not taking into account minor other costs (crypto fees etc). Probably closer to Euro 26/g. (In coffeeshops these days, lowest I’ve seen is 28, highest, 35 and I swear once 40 euros / g. My lord).
Consumption method: 0.25 g joints pure

Nose: Bright citrus with a fresh, sour edge rather than overt sweetness—more orchard than candy. The dominant notes are lemon and lime zest, with a faint sweetness underneath. There’s also a clean “fresh-cut grass” quality, but in a good way rather than a poorly cured one. Very refreshing, especially given how much Zkittles-style sweetness seems to dominate everything at the moment.

Smoke: Clean white ash, and the nose translates beautifully into the flavour on the palate. Bright lemon and lime on the inhale, with a subtle sweetness that becomes more noticeable as the joint progresses. There’s also something reminiscent of very well-cured haze. “Extra virgin cold pressed” is the best way I can describe it. I’m a whisky/rum man so I like to use references that excite the imagination. A genuinely delicious smoke.

Effects: So I had an interesting experience with this one. I know its indica leaning, and I don’t know if it had to do with the terp profile (not really a guy who buys into that rubbish about this or that terp promoting sleep or excitement blah blah) but the initial effects for me were clear headed sativa’ness without the anxiety of a haze. After about 5-10 minutes this then settled into a heaviness behind the eyes. I liked the transition. It really gives you the opportunity to feel what it is to go from a sativa high to an indica high. If it wasn’t so dank I’d give it to my first timer friends and tell them to notice the difference in high over 10 minutes and they would then know exactly what a sativa feels like versus an indica. Long winded I know. I love the subject matter.

Overall: I am already a fan of Maison O Caçapo, but Lemongiella still pleasantly surprised me. The best description I can give is a hazy, “extra-virgin cold-pressed” orchard-lemon profile: fresh, bright, and more acidic than sweet.

Guys I’m obviously extremely passionate about good quality flower. I don’t jump on hype, I don’t like the trend of brands throwing anime on the labels. If anything I want the industry to become more upmarket. More “cultured”. I hope that in my structured reviews I can assist in this regard. My whisky and rum tasting has definitely prepared me haha.
