ID Request Need help identifying pinecone
galleryHi, new here. Can anyone help me identify this cone? I think it may be from a red spruce or white spruce in Medford, Massachusetts. I've attached a picture of the tree from Google maps and a photo of the cone.
The cone is about 1.5"/3.8 cm. (I wish I could get a better photo of the tree but I don't live in the area.) Thanks!

Solved! Southeast Georgia
galleryDoes anyone know what tree this might be? Had a few pop up and I’m fairly certain they haven’t been there longer than a year or two but we just noticed it. We lost a few pecan trees due to hurricane Helene and I’m wondering if they are young pecan trees .

ID Request Need help with this identifying this already cut down tree
gallerySorry for the low quality pictures, this was cut down a while back. It’s an evergreen with cones kind of like an oriental thuja. Leaves also browned a bit during winter. It could be that but I’m just not quite 100% sure.
UK, Essex.

ID Request First Tree Identification! (Maryland)
galleryHey, I’m hoping to identify this beautiful tree located in Columbia, Maryland (central MD). The first picture is looking up from the base, with surrounding trees (of varying species) overlapping into the photo. The leaves appear to be primarily green, with some yellowing & maybe even the occasional orange/brown. I’m bad with estimating, but I’d put the height between 60 & 85 feet. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I’d be happy to provide any additional pictures or information

ID Request Thinking it's Hickory, can anyone confirm?
gallery***SOLVED*** - They are from Kentucky Coffee Trees
Family friend had a bunch of tree work done on their property and let me have all the logs. Now that I've got them all home, I'm starting to group and stack them per species. Was really hoping these were cherry, as Ive yet to positively ID/obtain one since I've started milling. However, I'm pretty sure its hickory. Can anyone confirm it for me? Thanks!
*unfortunately these only had a couple tiny branches w/ dried, curled up leaves around them by the time I got there
*forgot to add, I haven't bucked off a log to test under my splitter yet, but the spots where a rough cut was made or branches broke it had that kinda fibery look to it. Like how hickory doesn't like to split, but it didn't seem quite as fibrous as my confirmed Hickory that I have and have worked with
*also one of the logs has like 10-15 woodpecker pockets if that helps ID in any way
