Article Bradford Didn’t Answer Us. Who Is He Talking to?
New op-ed from three core local organizations in Toronto:
“Our organizations, Cycle Toronto, Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA) and TTCriders, each submitted surveys to every candidate running for mayor in this election. Our results were strikinglysimilar. Olivia Chow said yes to all our requests. Bradford’s campaign stonewalled us, giving no replies to any of us.”

Picture My Time In Toronto Is Over
Thanks to everyone that enjoyed my first 4 weeks of photos as shared here: https://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/s/4we4gOSH6D
2 more weeks bringing my trip to a 6 week total has now ended - my wife and I loved our time in the city.
Like many cities, it has my different faces. I just captured these images while out on a daily walk.
I share more on my IG account - johnphotoslife
Thanks for being such a photogenic city

Discussion Reminder: it's getting dark by 6 now, so please look out for each other
Hey Toronto,
Just a heads up since the clocks are about to change soon and it's already getting dark early, sunset is around 6:30 and it's only going to get earlier. This is the time of year when things get sketchy on the roads, so figured a quick PSA couldn't hurt.
Pedestrians:
Wear something bright or reflective if you're out after dark. Even a light-coloured jacket helps.
Don't assume drivers see you, even at a crosswalk. Make eye contact before you step out.
Maybe take one earbud out when crossing. Not saying don't listen to your stuff, just stay aware.
Drivers:
Slow down a bit, especially at intersections.
Check twice on right turns. It's so easy to roll through and not see someone in the crosswalk, especially when it's dark and rainy.
Give yourself a couple extra minutes so you're not rushing.
I know a lot of us were seeing way too many pedestrian deaths in the news last year, and nobody wants a repeat of that. Most of it comes down to everyone paying a little more attention.
Stay safe out there, and feel free to add your own tips in the comments!
