So in my rewatch of the show, it is shown that Frankie and Mike forget their children's birthday's numerous times. Frankie always feels a bad but never does anything to not do it again. Yet every year she makes a big deal about Mother's Day and how the kids and Mike don't do enough. If my mom forgot my birthday I think I would be ignoring mother's day too.

One of the reasons I watched The Middle was this fine gentleman in Scrubs haha.

I just finished Season 5 Episode 18 and have no idea how to feel. I'm usually not that invested in sitcom relationships, especially since I think Cassidy should have been more honest about seeing it as a short term thing with no future and it was wrong of her not to address that, but for some reason I feel really worked up over that relationship. Like I really wanted it to work and feel hurt that they aren't together, I have no idea why I feel like this since I'm not even really a big fan of the show

The show truly peaked in the ratings in Seasons 2-4. Wednesday at 8 was indeed the coveted timeslot.
