Hey, guys!
I just wanted to remind you of our subreddit rule to not discuss politics on here.
We understand it might be tempting with the way some actors are presenting themselves on their social media, but this subreddit is to discuss the show and positive things about actors that you want to share.
This sub is not a space for policial discussions and any comments relating to it will be deleted.
I'm making this post as lately there have been more political discussions happening on here.
We hope you comply with this rule.
Have a great day

One of the reasons I watched The Middle was this fine gentleman in Scrubs haha.

I also love how Mike went along with it.

I just finished Season 5 Episode 18 and have no idea how to feel. I'm usually not that invested in sitcom relationships, especially since I think Cassidy should have been more honest about seeing it as a short term thing with no future and it was wrong of her not to address that, but for some reason I feel really worked up over that relationship. Like I really wanted it to work and feel hurt that they aren't together, I have no idea why I feel like this since I'm not even really a big fan of the show

The show truly peaked in the ratings in Seasons 2-4. Wednesday at 8 was indeed the coveted timeslot.

So in my rewatch of the show, it is shown that Frankie and Mike forget their children's birthday's numerous times. Frankie always feels a bad but never does anything to not do it again. Yet every year she makes a big deal about Mother's Day and how the kids and Mike don't do enough. If my mom forgot my birthday I think I would be ignoring mother's day too.

Plus a bonus Season 5 clip that I wanted to include
Let me know if I missed any. I will update when I finish the series.

Bob’s Burgers and The Middle have been on repeat on my tv almost every day for years now and I’d never noticed that Max Flush (alias for Tim Jones, the toilet thief) was voiced by Neil Flynn.
Admittedly, I only realized it because of looking up the cast on s3E15 out of curiosity. Flynn changes the fluctuation of his voice differently than he does while he plays Mike and I still don’t necessarily recognize his voice when rewatching the episode.
I also like to imagine Mike Heck kicking back at watching an episode of Bobs after a long day at the quarry 😂🍔
Any other projects that The Middle’s cast has worked on that surprised you / you love?

When I first started watching the middle I saw Frankie as just a busy mother who found things hard because she had 3 children and a hard job and lots of things to do at home, as the seasons went on she got worse and worse, I couldn't stand her attitude and she never admit things she got wrong, she'd always blame others, everyone was the bad guy apart from her ,I found her character very frustrating to watch, what was your opinion on Frankie?

did anyone else notice sue was 19 when she graduated high school? she was born on a leap year so 1996 and in 2015 that would make her 19. is this normal in America? cos I thought everyone graduated at 18 🤷

Brick is so used to everyone brushing off his quirks and hobbies, so for him to look at Sue and say "we hung out together, you talked to me" shows how starved he was for genuine connection inside the family. Sue may not always understand his interests, but she always had the biggest heart, and her promise that he can come visit her at college is peak Heck family wholesomeness.

Have watched this show more than 25 times & noticed for the first time in the last minute of the episode, saw actor who later played Cassidy in the show kissing a guy in front of Sue's locker when she is trying to avoid the tardy sweep after her swim class. Can't believe I never noticed that before

I can't believe it's done. There's so much more to see. I wanna see more of Sue and Sean, Sue with Sean's family, Sue and Nancy bonding. I want to see Lexie and her character development. What happened to Frankie's mom and dad? How about Big Mike?
I started watching Episode 1 season 1 right after. They all looked so cute: Frankie is gorgeous on episode 1, her wardrobe changed over time and her hair has gotten weird and stiff. Sue is so pretty her hair is so lustrous on ep1., and Brick is so adorable.
I need more. 😭😩

Happened to be rewatching law and order SVU and came across grandpa big Mike defending in a trial

I hate her honestly. I thought they really nailed it with Sue. I appreciated Sue because she wasn't the stereotypical dork/nerd, no glasses (i know she had them but she doesn't wear them after a certain point) and messy hair and relatively pretty even. But then Carly showed up and completely embodied the nerd trope i despise. She's like Sue without the good qualities. I don't know why, i just get irritated whenever i see her on screen. What do you think about her?

I'm kind of thinking Frankie had some great ideas. Icing and chips for dinner.
Work your butt off but also lay down as often as possible.
Do housework when ever, it's never going to go away.
Sure beats the Heck 🥁out of having a type A personality. 😅
