There are about 10 Subways in the Fort Collins area, but the one closest to me (about a mile) doesn't do coupons and doesn't do breakfast. I'm surprised that store stayed open when corporate consolidated and closed a few stores a few months ago. I assume that it's a franchise. Anyway, I'm willing to drive 4x that distance to the next nearest store to take advantage of the coupons.

After 8 months of working at subway im gonna be promoted to manager. Usually it took someone 5 years or even 8 years but for me it was due to one of the manager being on vacation without notice and I was āassistant managerā that and because of the main owner own subways all around sandiego and most of there employees were calling in sick or quit, they had me be called in to help all over because I could be the opener, closer, do everything, so I was a jack of all trades but honestly it cause I wrote down notes of what a opener and closer does cause. Imma be real, I just want to laze around and not do a lot, I only work hard when Iām in a single shift because I have anxiety of, oh we donāt have mayo, we low on prep and I would be rushing to do everything just so I can take it easier but I never got to. I think itās also due to hear at my previous cult job that I need to get obsessed with work to be easy. But honeslty I just wanna be middle shift. But they will have me working at a slow store that doesnāt get enough traffic so it be easy . Though the mental work when it comes to budgeting or thinking wonāt be my go to but my coworker who is a manager said it gets easy after doing it a few times, so Iām curious from both the manager and the workers. What are some tips you wish your manager would do and wouldnāt it.
Obviously communication is one. As well as being strict because my coworker said that if Iām nice most of the workers will take advantage and wonāt respect me much less donāt take the job seriously. Personally I like to go with the flow but if thereās a worker that doesnāt put in the work like how some already do, Iāll just take a few hours out. But I think if Iām strict but also communicate on them with exception it will be ok. I will make some mistakes but so long as I learn from my mistakes Iāll be good. Also it will be a good on my resume that I was manager, if I can last 4 or 5 months. That will open more opportunities since linkin got me 30 applications to be ghosted on. But honeslty Iāll be searching on Reddit San Diego for any people looking to find jobs since for me it was hard finding jobs and I got lucky, though I wonāt be in charge of hiring. I will write down many notes and study and practice all the different tips and things to prepare for as will as communication skills and psychology. But just curious
What are your guys thoughts and opinion when it comes to managers from your experience. Iāve seen what itās like for most , Iāve seen the pros and cons but Iām curious what itās like for the rest of ya. Sorry if I sound rude and bragging but deep down Iām having anxiety on how everything that can go wrong will go wrong like a rude customer or inspection ,

Obviously those sandwiches are superimposed and not really there, but why are they positioned that way? One sandwich is just poking out between the girlās arms? The other just rests on the other girlās back, in a position no real sandwich would hold? And why on earth would two people pose like this? I just donāt see how an ad like this made it past a room full of people.

I canāt justify these prices for the product being offered. It was $16 last week which was already pushing it. Everyone has their limit and Iāve reached mine. I shouldnāt have to use a coupon or give my info to an app just to get reasonable prices. Time to vote with my wallet. If subway is going to charge sit down prices, I might as well go have a sit down lunch at a real restaurant

Recently my manger said we need at least 15 units(per hour) for crew. It really sucks because we at most work two hours, and have to be on call for it as well. I open during the weekends and I canāt call crew in to do the work, which leaves me to stay an hour longer after my shift is over to clean the restaurant if we donāt have enough units. I think it might be a me thing to get morning prep done late. But like Iām not gonna clock in half an hour before or 45 minutes just to be on time to open the restaurant. Some context my manager has us do lists that we have to do during the two hours of crew. Side note I also dislike it when the manager or shift lead just stand there in the back and watch me with 3-4 customers, or when I get customers right after each other. I can do it. But I HAVE to finish this list before I leave. Or when the closers dump the dishes on me when Iām about to leaveš«©. I love this job. I just have a few things to complain about. But yeah ā¤ļøāš©¹
One of the easiest subs, simpleā¦
Still messed it up š¤£
Spicy Italian, Shredded Monterey Jack and EXTRA mayo.
TOASTED.
And got light mayo, and cold cheese.

My brother and I live in the same house, we picked the same Subway location, even picked the same payment method.
But for some reason he is able to get deals like "7$ for a sandwich" etc.
While my app does not have any deals at all.
Was wondering if anyone knew a solution that would allow deals to show up on my app as well.
I am guessing it is because I have not made a purchase through the app yet, but my brother said he got deals immediately.

This was mostly just eating a folded tortilla with sweet onion sauce. Ordered through app for pickup on work lunch, I also selected the āmoreā option on every veggie I selected. Felt pretty ripped off.

Haven't been able to order on app or website in over a year. Always some BS error pops up. Stores wont load to pick different location. Always says out of stock or cart error. All previous orders and points gone. Cant get in touch with any support for assistance.

I love the hot honey, but sadly theyāll get rid of it and idk I been trying to recreate it at home. Using chicken from Costco, dorito nachos . But when it comes to the hot honey or chipotle. Super hard to find any good ones. I once bought the chipotle subway brand from food for less and it tasted like garbage. If you live in California , what stores and brands would you recommend I buy for the sauces. Cause honeslty that stuff is good together . I use an air fryer to cook it but itās not been great. Has anyone tried recreating it ?

I am from Michigan in the USA. So I read a subway employee handbook and it said if we are closed for a short amount of time employees will still be paid. My subway was closed yesterday due to some people fixing our floor but no one was missing any hours but we're closed again today and I was scheduled for a 7.5 hour shift so do I just lose out on all the money I would've made today?
Recently I went to a subway to get a fuckass sandwich, and while I was ordering my sandwich, a manager came over and informed the employee that he would be fired soon because he had tattoos and piercings (not egregious at all)
Thatās not a reason to fire someone, but it is a reason to make my own sandwiches

Anyone know about the new menu item? Fritos?
Idk what itās is but is it better than the hot honey nacho?
