Pricing $18 For Footlong Meal????

I can’t justify these prices for the product being offered. It was $16 last week which was already pushing it. Everyone has their limit and I’ve reached mine. I shouldn’t have to use a coupon or give my info to an app just to get reasonable prices. Time to vote with my wallet. If subway is going to charge sit down prices, I might as well go have a sit down lunch at a real restaurant

What on earth is going on in this ad?

Obviously those sandwiches are superimposed and not really there, but why are they positioned that way? One sandwich is just poking out between the girl’s arms? The other just rests on the other girl’s back, in a position no real sandwich would hold? And why on earth would two people pose like this? I just don’t see how an ad like this made it past a room full of people.

The closest store to me is the worst

There are about 10 Subways in the Fort Collins area, but the one closest to me (about a mile) doesn't do coupons and doesn't do breakfast. I'm surprised that store stayed open when corporate consolidated and closed a few stores a few months ago. I assume that it's a franchise. Anyway, I'm willing to drive 4x that distance to the next nearest store to take advantage of the coupons.

Question Manager promotion

After 8 months of working at subway im gonna be promoted to manager. Usually it took someone 5 years or even 8 years but for me it was due to one of the manager being on vacation without notice and I was “assistant manager” that and because of the main owner own subways all around sandiego and most of there employees were calling in sick or quit, they had me be called in to help all over because I could be the opener, closer, do everything, so I was a jack of all trades but honestly it cause I wrote down notes of what a opener and closer does cause. Imma be real, I just want to laze around and not do a lot, I only work hard when I’m in a single shift because I have anxiety of, oh we don’t have mayo, we low on prep and I would be rushing to do everything just so I can take it easier but I never got to. I think it’s also due to hear at my previous cult job that I need to get obsessed with work to be easy. But honeslty I just wanna be middle shift. But they will have me working at a slow store that doesn’t get enough traffic so it be easy . Though the mental work when it comes to budgeting or thinking won’t be my go to but my coworker who is a manager said it gets easy after doing it a few times, so I’m curious from both the manager and the workers. What are some tips you wish your manager would do and wouldn’t it.

Obviously communication is one. As well as being strict because my coworker said that if I’m nice most of the workers will take advantage and won’t respect me much less don’t take the job seriously. Personally I like to go with the flow but if there’s a worker that doesn’t put in the work like how some already do, I’ll just take a few hours out. But I think if I’m strict but also communicate on them with exception it will be ok. I will make some mistakes but so long as I learn from my mistakes I’ll be good. Also it will be a good on my resume that I was manager, if I can last 4 or 5 months. That will open more opportunities since linkin got me 30 applications to be ghosted on. But honeslty I’ll be searching on Reddit San Diego for any people looking to find jobs since for me it was hard finding jobs and I got lucky, though I won’t be in charge of hiring. I will write down many notes and study and practice all the different tips and things to prepare for as will as communication skills and psychology. But just curious

What are your guys thoughts and opinion when it comes to managers from your experience. I’ve seen what it’s like for most , I’ve seen the pros and cons but I’m curious what it’s like for the rest of ya. Sorry if I sound rude and bragging but deep down I’m having anxiety on how everything that can go wrong will go wrong like a rude customer or inspection ,
