Long time fan of Sublime here. Did not personally keep up with them during the Rome era. I kinda rolled my eyes when I heard they were getting another new frontman, but then when I saw it was Brad's son my ears perked up. I was already aware of Jakob and while I wouldn't say I was a fan of his at the time but I did like some of his songs. Since he joined, I have loved not only their covers of the old stuff but the new material is by and large pretty good in my opinion. Sure it's not the same as the old stuff but there are quite a few songs that have made it into my normal rotation here. Long walk to get to my main question but: Where do we see Sublime going in the future? Do you guys expect to see more with Jakob as the frontman, do we think they're gonna go with someone else, or is this it?

God stoned as shit and made this two bad ass drawlins while listening to sum sublime and sleep it was dope as shit

I need sublime fabric.

It's part of my Halloween parody album I just dropped. FFO Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Does anyone have these:

Bert Susanka - Live at Koos Acoustic
Bert Susanka - Liquid Den Acoustic
Bargain Music - Liquid Den Acoustic

Thanks in advance!

This might get deleted, but I just wanted to get if off my chest. The title basically sums it up. A few years ago when AI was still pretty new, I trained a voice model of Brad and doctored a recording of an "alleged" acoustic performance Sublime did of Santeria, famously only performed once ever at The Shack in '96. I am a pretty seasoned musician/audio engineer/singer, so I was able to take the studio acapella but then sing different inflections and use the AI filter and pitch modulation to make the vocal sound different from the official one. I extracted audiences singing along at Sublime with Rome shows, and extracted the guitar from a cover I found. Combined all that with some audio distortion and room tone, and was left with something pretty convincing. Dug into shows going on that year and venues Sublime would have been near. Was lowkey not super accurate or thorough there.

Why did I do it? Honestly I just wanted to see if I could. I was manic at the time and going through some weird personal stuff so it was kind of a way to stroke my ego. Looking back, it was major weirdo behavior. I never even followed up or continued the "gag," (not sure I could even call it that) I just abandoned the account completely. But every few months, years later, I see it pop up on a Sublime fanpage, or I see people close to the band addressing it and I feel like my little experiment just spiraled way out of control.

This is a throwaway account I only plan on using to post this, I just kinda wanted to get this off my chest and also post this for anybody running into this video after 3 years so they know that it is 100% fake. Three years later, I also have very different views about AI. Honestly pretty distasteful to do something like this with AI without disclosing that it is in fact AI.

On another note, I really hope that The Shack recording gets posted here one day, I check every few months. I guess I lowkey made this to cope with that clip STILL not being out.

TLDR: Sorry for being a chud three years ago. </3

Original Warped tour backstage pass, August 11th 1995 the same day the pictured interview was taken.

I want this to be my first tattoo? Which is better?

A lot of you wanted to get orders in time for Christmas. This would be the time to ensure you get it. I'm expecting a push around the holidays. DM me if interested. Or hit me up on Instagram. Thanks.

artwork in my room. My bro from another mother carved/engraved me the badass column like piece and my goddaughter used glow in the dark paint for an awesome painting she made for me for my birthday. 💚💚💚. The rest are just some Randos I got in my bedroom , and my dorkie dog.🙃

Had it graded by AMG and it got a solid 7, it’s from the collection of the late Mikey P, wish I had more info on this specific version. It has tour dates and contact info on the back and the front booklet is printed very low resolution. The official release of these were hand numbered and limited to 200, before Tabasco slapped them with a cease and desist.

Sublime was my first music love. They are the reason I ever learned how to play guitar and sing in the first place. I wrote this song as tribute to Bradley Nowell and the band. Thanks for all the inspiration

Hi all, long time lurker, lifetime Sublime fan.

Always happy to answer questions, and I hope this post aligns with the rules.

Thank you all and rock on!

Dunne was responsible for almost all of the iconic 90s sublime photos you’ll see, here are a few.

John passed several years ago from an overdose, eventually moving from Long Beach to Dublin, Ireland. I never hear anyone speak on his death, or are even aware that he had passed. He provided us with tons of great legendary sublime in the moment photos, many of which we haven’t seen yet. I would urge anyone who wants to see more of the rare ones to check out the late 90s sublime documentary “behind the music” in which several of the rarest John Dunne photos are featured.

If you’ve ever wondered what RTH (their most honest album imho) was recorded on like the cover says. This is it. The actual one Brad used. Not sure what else would be better than one of his stage guitars, but this was the main instrument the cover of the album refers to. Btw, also have the signed copy by Brad, Eric and Bud of that album.

I wonder if we’ll ever hear the songs left off the album, in interviews before the album was finalized he said they recorded 20+ songs.

Some songs may just have had a name change but looks like -
White Whale
Makin You Rich
No Breakfast

I've had a few requests to make one of these for Until the Sun Explodes. I can't find scans of the CD art anywhere. Any chance one of you fine fans would have the CD and access to a scanner? I'd need the following.

1. Each page of the booklet

2. Front of the Disk

3. CD Tray

4. Back Cover

Thanks in advance.

I’m a relatively new fan of the band and was SO lucky to see them at Aftershock yesterday. OG singers son sang and it was amazing. There was at least 50 crowd surfers and like 6 beach balls and an inflatable pencil bouncing around from front to back.

10/10 first experience, I got super close to the stage- I did fall on the ground during a mosh pit but the ppl near me helped me up and I stayed with them for the rest of the day, which was super awesome cuz I came here alone.
