just a quick rant. we have a seminar tomorrow for school related to my major, and the topic they’re going to share is something I'm really intrigued by because I know it will help my future skills. ....but I can’t go. why? because of our minor subjects that I have to prioritize because there’s a deadline.

because what do you mean our workloads for minor subjects are heavier compared to our major? you know how instead of being able to focus on studying the course you want, you have to make a ppt and do a report on the life of Rizal because the deadline is this week. and then the professors think they are the only subject we have, that we should focus on what they’re assigning that I don’t even know where I’m going to use.

and what’s going to happen is that many will graduate without skills. because we've been burned out since 2nd year, and there’s no motivation left to work.

I’m just crying because I still have a lot to do with those damn minors and I still can’t go to the seminar.

edit: thank you po sa mga advices and pag iintindi sa comsec. i really need that and i appreciate it ❤️

Need Advice Paano ba maging maayos at effective ang pagrereport?

Hi. I'm a 32 year old freshman sa isang Community College here sa province namin and swear, sobrang nahihirapan ako sa pagrereport sa unahan.

Huhuhu.

I want to be better and gusto ko talaga matutong magreport nang maayos. Please give this Tita an advice. Thank you so much sainyo.

I'm just starting in life and swear, hindi nakakaproud kasi dapat successful na ako pero ayoko din kasing magstop kasi nabubuhay pa ako. I'm just doing my best everyday. :(

Rant Mas nahihirapan akong aralin 'tong mahalin kaysa aralin yung mismong program.

Hi I just know it's getting worse if I'm going to reddit for suggestions/slap of reality. Pa-rant lang kasi di k n kaya haha

I'm a freshman Bachelor of Education Studies in UP Open University and I am planning to transfer to another program (BS Psychology) and university. Some of my choices are UE, TUA, OLFU, and NTC.

Ideally TUA ang dream school ko for BS Psych because I saw some insights na their health-allied programs are okay, often outshined lang by nursing and other pre-med programs. But I chose NTC as my top choice dahil sa affordability at flexibility nito for working student. I also considered some state unis such as RTU, PLM, PUP, UPD kaso given the limited slots probably hindi guarranteed na makaka-transfer ako.

Don't get me wrong I am grateful of the privilege to study in OU, I love the community here and loving it doesn't mean I feel the belongingness. I know freshman pa lang ako and I must give time for myself to adjust pa, kaso ta*na ang hirap talaga. Minsan mahirap ang workload, especially some of the GE courses are more demanding than my majors. Pero madalas, mas nahihirapan ako dahil walang campus life, di ko mahal program ko, di ko gamay ang online learning given na bagsakin ako nung pandemic haha.

During CETs, dami kong inapplyan na state univ, napasa ko naman karamihan (wala akong naipasang state u with bs psych). Balak ko mag-stay for first trisem lang tho, then restart ako as transferee for A.Y 27-28.

Yun lang naman, I just want to let these out dahil wala rin akong mapagsabihan.
