Starlancer (2000) is a space fighter sim created by Erin and Chris Roberts, creators of the well-loved Wing Commander (1990) and Privateer (1993) series, as well as the Wing Commander movie (1999). It was followed by sequel Freelancer (2003) and spiritual successor Star Citizen (scheduled for gradual release between 2013 and 2015).
