re-useable coffee cup culture?

hey! does anyone know what the general etiquette is around using re-useable coffee cup/mugs when buying coffee on campus? i.e. are there any cafes that DO accept them? (from what i see it seems like they don't usually!)

trying to avoid microplastics/throw less trash

also wondering about what cafes are like in downtown palo alto and across cal ave (i.e. zombierunner) thanks!

Stanford Health Hospital

Hello everybody,

Is there any free parking near the hospital for night shift employees? My shift starts at 7 pm and lasts until 7 am. Or any recommendations on where to park during those hours?

Thank you!

Stanford STEP Program

Hi everyone!

I’m considering applying to Stanford’s STEP program, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has participated or knows someone who has.
What was the overall experience like, and how would you rate it from 1–10?

I’m especially curious about the lifestyle, workload, living arrangements, and what daily life in Stanford/Palo Alto is actually like.

I’m an international student from with some teaching experience, a high GPA and a lot of volunteering + extra curricular work, and I’d love to know how welcoming the program is to international students. How manageable is the cost of living, and are there scholarships, stipends, or other financial aid options available?

I’d also appreciate hearing about the teaching experience, school placements, and career opportunities after completing the program.

Any honest advice, personal experiences, or insights into applying as an international student would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

OnCourse no longer shows previous grade distributions?

I just noticed today that I can no longer see grade distributions on OnCourse. Has anyone else noticed this? Or does anyone know why? It was very helpful. Thanks!
