Maxwell has developed this hard bump on the inside of his floppy ear. It doesn't seem to bother him but I'm not sure what it is or where it came from. Anybody know?

This is Honey! She is growing into a phenomenal family dog and is almost 5 months old!(on the 1st) But I was wondering if she seems to be small for her age? She currently weighs 31 pounds. I’ve included some photos for reference!

From 3-9 months my wife had major puppy blues and I had to work very hard to keep rehoming from happening - it was very close to ‘me or the dog’.
Luna was in doggy hospital over her 1st birthday - the second to last picture is her before she went in with acute GI symptoms. The vet was sympathetic rather than optimistic, and it was terrifying. Against expectations, she pulled through.
The one positive from her near death experience - we both realised just how heartbroken we would be to lose her.
Now they’re best friends, my wife comes on walks, and they go running together twice a week. It’s ’their thing’. I could not be happier.

She’s 8 months old and is prone to puppy acne, but I’m not sure if this is a blocked gland or what. Getting ready to take her to the vet but just curious if anyone’s seen it before.

Lizzy is my mother’s dog. Officially.
She is the first dog I loved after my childhood springer died. She is unimaginably sweet. She’s had a knee injury for 6 weeks but is otherwise extremely healthy (8 years old). I love her in a way that’s so different from how I love Harry. She deserves her own posts🐾

Baby Girl turns two today. She's such a sweet bundle of energy. I just got back from a trip so her big gift was bailing her out of the kennel. I'm making her some ice cream tonight, and will order her something from Chewy with her coupon.

My English Springer Spaniels have sensitive stomachs and itch quite a bit. I can’t afford the top bougie-foods and I’m wondering if the higher end Purina products are bad for them. What is everyone else feeding their spaniels and is it keeping the allergies away? They love chicken (in dog food or home cooked) but I’m hearing it’s a big allergy no no? Is this true? I’ve tried duck and lamb and they won’t eat either. Beef seems to upset their stomachs. Please advise!

Our Springers just over a year old and the loveliest wee girl ever except for the biting!
It’s non aggressive and predominantly playful but can also be out of frustration. We’ve built training into her day and take her on regular walks, she gets good quality food too. So we’re building a good life for her just still biting!
I know this can go on for sometime I’m just wondering how long till we see the light at the end of the tunnel?
Some people say 2 years, others say 7, how long will it be?

We are a family of 4 with two school aged kids. Five days ago we brought home an 8 week old English Springer Spaniel. We put a lot of time into picking a breed before committing to a puppy and did not/do not take the decision lightly.
Our puppy is a dream. I expected it to be hard and was prepared for the sleepless nights and accidents, but he is sleeping through the night in his crate and is 75% house trained. He is so smart and we just adore him.
Unfortunately one of our children might be allergic to him. On the first day, he experienced minor hives where the puppy was nipping (gently - just playing). No other instances of hives. He also develops very itchy/sore eyes after being on the ground playing with him (and puppy crawling all over him).
We obviously don’t want to have to bring the puppy back to the breeder, but our son’s health comes first. He is allergic to cats, but not dogs (that we were aware of). He has wanted a dog more than any of us - he is an absolute animal lover and just gravitates to all animals but has been wanting this for so long, so this is breaking my heart. Does anyone have success stories of managing allergies with a pet in the home???☹️ I already have a HEPA air purifier and bought a higher rated furnace filter, and open to any suggestions. Please let me know if you’ve experienced this.
*(I have already made an appt with his doctor but looking for support).*
