This is Honey! She is growing into a phenomenal family dog and is almost 5 months old!(on the 1st) But I was wondering if she seems to be small for her age? She currently weighs 31 pounds. I’ve included some photos for reference!

Maxwell has developed this hard bump on the inside of his floppy ear. It doesn't seem to bother him but I'm not sure what it is or where it came from. Anybody know?

From 3-9 months my wife had major puppy blues and I had to work very hard to keep rehoming from happening - it was very close to ‘me or the dog’.
Luna was in doggy hospital over her 1st birthday - the second to last picture is her before she went in with acute GI symptoms. The vet was sympathetic rather than optimistic, and it was terrifying. Against expectations, she pulled through.
The one positive from her near death experience - we both realised just how heartbroken we would be to lose her.
Now they’re best friends, my wife comes on walks, and they go running together twice a week. It’s ’their thing’. I could not be happier.

One of my Grandpas girls gets a bit sassy when it gets to be dinner time.

She’s 8 months old and is prone to puppy acne, but I’m not sure if this is a blocked gland or what. Getting ready to take her to the vet but just curious if anyone’s seen it before.

Lizzy is my mother’s dog. Officially.
She is the first dog I loved after my childhood springer died. She is unimaginably sweet. She’s had a knee injury for 6 weeks but is otherwise extremely healthy (8 years old). I love her in a way that’s so different from how I love Harry. She deserves her own posts🐾

Baby Girl turns two today. She's such a sweet bundle of energy. I just got back from a trip so her big gift was bailing her out of the kennel. I'm making her some ice cream tonight, and will order her something from Chewy with her coupon.

Hi all, we just adopted a 2 year old springer spaniel a week ago. We had been looking for a dog for a while but as I have young children we needed to find a dog that was happy to be around children. We finally found Sadie (we had springers as children so she stood out to me) She's the most gentle and placid dog. Loves her walks and catching a tennis ball but will also sit and chill when needed. My kiddos (all 5 of them!) are just besotted with her and she adores them back. Even our cat is tolerating her 😂
I'm just wondering about her coat. My childhood springers had a longer fluffier coat whereas Sadie seems to be short haired. Is this because she's had a groom or are there different types of springers?
I'm going to search through the forum for tips on keeping her well groomed but how often should you wash a dog like Sadie?
It's been 12 years since we had dogs (took a break when our kiddos were very small) and I forget everything 😅

Can anyone help with the breed here please or show me any photos as to what he is likely to look like when fully grown. He is 12 weeks old . Any help appreciated, Thankyou 😊

Our Springers just over a year old and the loveliest wee girl ever except for the biting!
It’s non aggressive and predominantly playful but can also be out of frustration. We’ve built training into her day and take her on regular walks, she gets good quality food too. So we’re building a good life for her just still biting!
I know this can go on for sometime I’m just wondering how long till we see the light at the end of the tunnel?
Some people say 2 years, others say 7, how long will it be?

We’re nearly at 10 months with our 56 pound boy, and honestly, I didn’t know if we’d ever make it out of the depths of pure puppy chaos. But thankfully, we did! He’s still a bit of a punk, especially during his evening witching hour — and especially if we are not giving him enough attention. He loves his chew toys (although very few last longer than a day or two) and he’s been getting better and better retrieving his ball. He’s incredibly lovable with everyone he meets and he’s stinking cute too, so he keeps winning us over between the witching hours. Lately, we’ve definitely noticed his hormones kicking in, too.
For those with male Springers, what was your experience around this age? Did the teenage behavior get worse before it got better? Was your ESS still growing much around 10 months, and when did you transition them off puppy food? Also curious about neutering timelines. Our vet brought up considering it on the next 6 months, but would love to hear when you decided to do it and what factored into your decision.
And any other tricks, tips, stories, photos and more are always appreciated!
