Can't find themes only extensions are visible

how do i get rid of that window

whenever i try to open the marketplace, it says "something went wrong, try reloading the page" no matter how many times i reload, nothing changes. I've tried reapplying spicetify and it still doesn't change anything. please help

I wanna get spicetify but is it safe in the since i'll get a virus or something and does it have an adblocker? because i've been using the web verison so i dont have to use ads.

so i js today found out abt spicetify,and i wanted to try a frutiger aero theme. i downloaded it through powershell. i used WMpotify, but its a year old and i didnt like the layout so i wanted to get rid of it. Google gave me this code: spicetify restore. i used it, but if i try to redownload spicetify it brings back the theme i tried to get rid of. can you guys help me get rid of WMpotify while still being able to use spicetify? thx. im on windows 11 btw

Hey everyone! Decided to make a fun little Spicetify extension called Drift86.

Basically turns your seekbar into a Tokyo highway with an AE86 Trueno:

- Idles with amber hazards when paused

- Cruises with pop-up headlights and exhaust smoke when playing

- Drifts with countersteer and tire smoke when you drag/scrub the track

Zero bloat, single file and doesn't touch the volume slider.

I ran the spicetify clean install script from the github because I was having issues with my current installation, I did it without running the spicetify restore command first, if that should affect anything, but after the installation was completed, my marketplace was gone, the icon was gone, I checked the installation directory for the marketplace and it seems to be installed but it isn't showing up on spotify.

i did reinstalled spicetify marketplace again with https://github.com/spicetify/spicetify-marketplace/wiki/Installation but still doesnt work

I missed flipping through CDs, so I made a Spicetify app that turns your Spotify library into a 3D CD shelf. It's free and open source.

- Your saved albums and playlists stand spine-out as real glass jewel cases

- Hover one to pull it out, click to open it: the tracklist is printed inside the booklet, click a track to play it, and the disc spins

- Scroll down to an old Sony monitor and a PlayStation: the TV plays the song's Canvas video, and a whiteboard writes the lyrics out in marker, in time with the song

- Three looks, six languages, quality settings for slower PCs, and a button to go back to normal Spotify

It's brand new and I've mostly tested it on Linux, so Windows and Mac reports are very welcome, good or bad. The jewel case is based on Ann Nguyen's cd-case project; full credits are in the repo.

Soo, i install a theme and my spotify ever since its super slow, but i mean SUPER slow, i mean i have 16gb of ram ddr4, i think that would be enough, could it be this specific theme or a spicetify error? or maybe its my pc

I've been liking the direction that the V3 update is going, but noticed that ever since the lyrics-plus@0.2.6 update was released, the Lyrics Plus app always fails to fetch lyrics from Musixmatch, and refreshing the token just fails no matter what.

I've already tried the trick to manually get the musixmatch UserToken via inspecting site cookies on the musixmatch website, I've tried both with and without my VPN (including restarting my PC), I've done fresh install of both spotify and spicetify multiple times, but nothing seems to fix it. I know that I've definitely not been using the lyrics so much that I've gone over the daily limit for the free tier API calls (I doubt I even listen to 500 songs in a day, let alone ones with lyrics). I suppose my next attempt should be to check and see if this problem persists on the non-

I fucking love Spicetify when it works and would gladly pay an additional $10 on top of my premium if it meant that every goddamn Spotify update wouldn't break something. I have been using an older version, and it works until I close and reopen the app, in which case it just updates and goes to the current unstable version Spotify is currently on. So, aside from downgrading the version, what's the meta for preventing autoupdates?

Gradient Progress Bar – recolour Spotify’s song progress bar with a solid colour or a gradient of up to 8 colours 🎨

• Built-in colour picker with hue/saturation, eyedropper, RGB and hex input
• A “theme colour” stop that follows your theme’s accent, including themes that change it per song, like Hazy’s album-art mode
• Works on top of any theme without overriding it: no !important, and only the song bar changes
• Open the settings from the right-clicking the progress bar, clicking the top left icon (underlined brush), or Spotify's profile drop-down menu.

Install: Marketplace → Extensions → search “Gradient Progress Bar”. If it doesn’t show up straight away, sort by newest or hit Load more, as the search only covers loaded cards.

Edit:

• Moved the +Add colour button away from the bottom row, right next to the colour stops as a (+) button.
• Based on u/Independent_Tea_4650 input: With only one colour active, pressing the gradient switch will add a second colour (which is needed for a gradient).

If I hide the right panel the video no longer plays in the background of my Spotify which is why I use this theme to begin with :C

Theme is Luminous

This is my personal fix collection for my own setup: Windows, Spotify 1.3.4, Spicetify 2.45.3. There's no support and no guarantee. It may break things. Use it at your own risk. It is not a Marketplace extension. Each fix switches itself off on Spicetify versions it wasn't tested on.
Comes with an installer, updater and uninstaller because we're all a little lazy sometimes. ✨

It currently fixes:

• top bar menus not showing (Hazy, etc.)
• profile drop-down menu not showing

I can't seem to be able to link my stats.fm account. It says the way to find the custom id is to go to stats.fm then go to profile and copy the profile url. But my profile url looks like https://stats.fm/31u5tymirtnmjlrkvx3iaxsynhsi . Instead of being in the format https://stats.fm/user/your-custom-id . Am I copying the wrong url? There doesn't seem to be a link with /user/ within the url.
