I missed flipping through CDs, so I made a Spicetify app that turns your Spotify library into a 3D CD shelf. It's free and open source.

- Your saved albums and playlists stand spine-out as real glass jewel cases

- Hover one to pull it out, click to open it: the tracklist is printed inside the booklet, click a track to play it, and the disc spins

- Scroll down to an old Sony monitor and a PlayStation: the TV plays the song's Canvas video, and a whiteboard writes the lyrics out in marker, in time with the song

- Three looks, six languages, quality settings for slower PCs, and a button to go back to normal Spotify

Install (needs Spicetify (https://spicetify.app/docs/getting-started)):

Linux / macOS:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/WhiteRafalicu/spotify-reimagined/main/install.sh | sh

Windows (PowerShell):

iwr -useb https://raw.githubusercontent.com/WhiteRafalicu/spotify-reimagined/main/install.ps1 | iex

GitHub: https://github.com/WhiteRafalicu/spotify-reimagined

It's brand new and I've mostly tested it on Linux, so Windows and Mac reports are very welcome, good or bad. The jewel case is based on Ann Nguyen's cd-case project; full credits are in the repo.

Hey guys, I'm the creator of Tagify.
I was fed up of Spicetify constantly disappearing from Spotify after every update. So I built this installer: https://github.com/alexk218/tagify-installer/releases (Download the latest one for your operating system).

Heads up: This also adds Tagify to Spotify.
Enjoy :)

Gradient Progress Bar – recolour Spotify’s song progress bar with a solid colour or a gradient of up to 8 colours 🎨

• Built-in colour picker with hue/saturation, eyedropper, RGB and hex input
• A “theme colour” stop that follows your theme’s accent, including themes that change it per song, like Hazy’s album-art mode
• Works on top of any theme without overriding it: no !important, and only the song bar changes
• Open the settings from the right-clicking the progress bar, clicking the top left icon (underlined brush), or Spotify's profile drop-down menu.

Install: Marketplace → Extensions → search “Gradient Progress Bar”. If it doesn’t show up straight away, sort by newest or hit Load more, as the search only covers loaded cards.

Or: https://github.com/VoidCrowned/spicetify-gradient-progress-bar

Tested on Spotify 1.3.4.258 / Spicetify 2.45.3. Bug reports with the output of __gpb.status() from the devtools console are very welcome!

Edit:

• Moved the +Add colour button away from the bottom row, right next to the colour stops as a (+) button.
• Based on u/Independent_Tea_4650 input: With only one colour active, pressing the gradient switch will add a second colour (which is needed for a gradient).

Can't update the original image apparently, so here's the updated look of the extension: https://github.com/VoidCrowned/spicetify-gradient-progress-bar/blob/main/preview.png?raw=true

If I hide the right panel the video no longer plays in the background of my Spotify which is why I use this theme to begin with :C

Theme is Luminous

Im trying to downgrade my spotify using loadspot but whenever i try use the installer it just says this app can't run on your pc, to find a version for your pc go to the publisher

anyone getting similar problems?

This is my personal fix collection for my own setup: Windows, Spotify 1.3.4, Spicetify 2.45.3. There's no support and no guarantee. It may break things. Use it at your own risk. It is not a Marketplace extension. Each fix switches itself off on Spicetify versions it wasn't tested on.
Comes with an installer, updater and uninstaller because we're all a little lazy sometimes. ✨

It currently fixes:

• top bar menus not showing (Hazy, etc.)
• profile drop-down menu not showing

Same as heading

The Tabs on Spicetify are not appearing for me? Is this happening for anyone else. I just reinstalled spotify and spicetify.

i've tried multiple ways but nothing seems to work, apparently there was a way to disable auto updates with spicetify but it doesnt work anymore? someone help me out 🙏

I have Starry Night installed, but it just doesn't work. Yesterday i had to redownload Spotify and Spicetify (before i also had the bug of not showing the cover). Also I am permanently stuck in themes. Could anyone please help me.

I know that it’s server side or smth but my friend said that he got it for free and there’s a way to trick Spotify into giving you a premium account before he bought it on his iPhone so I was just wondering.

Oh boy.. It's happening again, for the third week in a row...

First of all, thank you to 5k users for trusting Syncify with your setup. I'm glad it has become an essential tool for so many of you, and I will keep supporting it for as long as someone finds value in it.

To save your setup until an update fixes things:

1. Download syncify.js (embedded link downloads it from GitHub for you)
2. Place the file in your Spicetify Extensions folder:
   • Windows: %appdata%\spicetify\Extensions\
   • macOS / Linux: ~/.config/spicetify/Extensions/
3. Run these commands in a terminal:
   • spicetify config extensions syncify.js
   • spicetify apply

Now you've successfully installed Syncify! But Marketplace is broken, so it won't show up in your extensions list. And Spicetify's injections and styling are also broken, so you won't see the button up top and won't be able to open your user options menu.

So now what?

A recent update to Syncify added a keyboard shortcut exactly for this type of situation:

Simply press Ctrl+Alt+S (default shortcut) if you're on Windows or Linux, ⌘ Cmd+⌥ Option+S if you're on macOS. This should bring up Syncify for you.

If your setup hasn't been wiped, you can still save it by clicking "Back up now." It sends a copy of your setup to the cloud, and even if you uninstall Syncify and re-install it later, you'll still have it! Backups follow your Spotify account.

If you're already a Syncify user, and your extensions are already gone or the count looks lower than it should, don’t back up. Your last good backup is still in the cloud. Restore it once Marketplace works again. Keep “Back up automatically” off until then.

Latest version is 1.2.1, I recommend reinstalling Syncify from the marketplace later after it gets fixed so that you continue to get updates. Remove the local install first when doing that:

1. Delete the file from the Extensions folder
2. Run these commands
   • spicetify config extensions syncify.js-
   • spicetify apply

Let me know what you think of the fresh coat of paint on Syncify! And if you have cool improvements in mind or if you found any bugs, report them on GitHub.

Give the repo a star if you can and consider supporting Syncify to keep it alive! Thank you 💚

yesterday it was broken and I came and saw someone say to downgrade so I did but after I restarted my pc it broke again not letting me use anything but the themes tab. I downgraded to spotify-1-3-0-277-g5441bb3e. what should I do?

soo the spicetify is only showing the extensions and nothing else
i removed it and readded spicetify but it didnt change
rather then fixing it removed all my themes and past extensions
any fix to both?

CAN ANYONE TELL A THEME OR EXTENSION OR ANYTHING TO MAKE THIS BETTER AND GET KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS WORKING

i used to have some extensions installed but i deleted them thinking they might have caused the issue, please help me fix it

💌personal note.

This is my personal project that I've been working on. I've spent an awful amount of time working on the details, the buttons, the animations. I plan on adding more features and tweaking further.

my favorite part is the theme dynamically changes with each song.

Features

• Colors from the music: the whole theme takes its colors from the current song's cover, and cross-fades when the song changes.
• Moving light: a slow light plays across black glass behind the center and the top bar. It can follow the song's tempo if you want.
• Liquid glass library: a flowing ribbon of liquid glass sits behind a frosted glass library panel.
• Glass controls: play, skip, shuffle, repeat and Home are milky glass pearls that float and shimmer.
• Soft search bar: a milky glass pill that wakes softly when you hover it and glows like a cloud when you type.
• Glass heart: the like button is a thick glass heart that bends the light behind it. It glides and catches a glare when you hover it, and turns pink glass when you like a song.
• Glass pages: home and playlist pages sit in frosted glass boxes.
• Music sync (optional): the library's light follows the song's tempo, bass, build-ups and drops.

you can download the theme from Spicetify Marketplace or from my github "https://github.com/IndianStalker/pyaar".

It came to my attention, that the official Spicetify GitHub hosts an android version? https://github.com/spicetify?q=&type=all&language=&sort=stargazers

Right here:

https://github.com/spicetify/morphe-patches

I can't find any other mention about it. Was the GitHub profile hacked or something or is this a thing now?

I started getting this issue today, where ad placeholders would appear like this and ruin the looks of Spotify, does anyone have any ideas on how to remove them? I use adblockify to remove ads, and my theme is LiquidMusic.

Spicetify version: v2.45.3
Spotify version: 1.3.4.258

I couldn't find a milkdrop application or extension for Spotify, so I (gemini) decided to spend the evening making one! I am so amazed at what the new Argon model can do!

https://github.com/snjyr123/Spotify-Milkdrop

Please give me any feedback! This is my first actual project.

I just got the premium but I'd gotten used to many of the extensions so is it safe to use spicetify when you have a premium account?
