Update to my previous post! I just got Lightning Rod today in a bundle that happened to have regular versions of Spyro, Chop Chop, Bash, and a Series 1 Stealth Elf. Other than the LC Wham Shell I can say I have the original variants of every figure here!

Primary Attack (Solar Cleave): Luminous slashes with a massive crystalline sword, leaving radiant trails in the air that detonate after a short delay.

Secondary Attack (Solar Flares/Beams): He could plunge his sword into the ground, firing tracing beams of light or creating vertical pillars of starlight to launch enemies.

Soul Gem Ability (Star Power): Luminous could summon a constellation around himself, making his sword strikes twice as fast and leaving a trail of explosive star particles behind every swing.

Backstory

After his defeat in the Sunscraper Spire, Luminous soon accepted that Light could not exist without shadow; trying to wipe it out entirely only blinded him to his own internal darkness. However, his old hard-light energy powers were still too volatile and unstable from his past madness. To help him focus, Knight Light gifted him a ceremonial blade crafted from pure Sunscraper crystal. By channeling his chaotic light energy directly through a physical sword, Luminous learned the discipline of a true Knight. He vowed to use his blade not to purge the world of shadows, but to protect those who wander lost in the dark. Now, he stands ready as a Sensei to teach new Imaginators how to balance their inner strength and strike down evil with flawless precision.

I was in my local game store and while looking at their box of skylanders I came across this clear Air Trap.. is this normal?

Nothing else to it, just a drawing of my Chill design I did at work, a couple of frozen enemies in the background and the city in the back was last minute addition to make it seem more interesting, not based on anything in particular from Skylanders or the ice environments we’ve seen.

I’m so happy with how the lineart came out, I genuinely feel like this is one of my best, especially with the hard shading around the upper body/head.

Tried something different with the ice, whilst looking for reference I found photos of ice creating rainbows when hit by light, I liked how it looked and thought it was beautiful so I wanted to try that out, definitely need to do more testing and practice but I’m pretty happy with a first attempt, I think the ice she’s walking on came out the best though.

Art Critique:
Arms are a bit weird and the eyes are slightly off, but thats really it, i think i did pretty well.

Beat all of kaos’s minion fights and while in the cutscene of him getting rid of them they glitched out and started shooting me in the cutscene and killed me

Decided to paint some of my extra portals, I wanna do this again but make them the legendary color scheme. When I get an extra swap portal I'll paint that black and silver too.

I found them at ollies 😭 there was stormeblade, dive clips, fiesta, and shark shooter terrain in box for $2.55 each

I spent way too long on this. I am shocked the original post only had 20 views in this subreddit. Like who else was crazy enought to do this aswell, in ONE sitting at that.

maybe it’s just because I’m older but oh my god this game is sooooo boring. The levels all feel soulless and like they drag out for way to long Even though Their probably some of the shortest in the series. The elemental realms are awful, and their gimmicks that would be fine in a 1-2 minute elemental gate, are now stretched into a 5+ minute slog. no activision, I do not think 3 light puzzles separated by unfunny unskipable dialogue is good design. oh and of course the mandatory mention of how every enemy in the game has way to much HP making any returning characters useless

My brothers played Skylanders Giants on the Wii as kids. We recently bought a used Wii and started playing again. We have most of the Skylanders that came for Giants other than a few (Sprocket, Slam Bam, Chill). My question is.... what else would we need to have everything? I have heard that the Skylanders from Spyro's are also compatible, and I have also heard that there are characters you can buy to play bonus "adventure levels"? Does anyone have a comprehensive list of every single character and level that is compatible with Skylanders Giants?

A great price if you ask me. My first Flameslinger, now I have all sprockets, and... I thought Boom Jet was a little bigger😅

In the future, skylanders games would it be fun, or would you like to see skylanders swap elements (like, for e.g, slam bam turning Fire or tech element and now being more so forming a moveset closer to those elements. And now their character is redone. But everything you knew about the character is the same but different)
