I lived in Northern VA for years and there were vehicle inspections available literally everywhere in various gas stations and mechanic shops. I'm in Blacksburg now and they all require an all day situation, most here are backed up for a few weeks even. My dog is recovering (hopefully) from an injury and I can't really leave him alone all day so I was wondering if Roanoke or anywhere around there had stations like they have up in NOVA?

Throwaway account as my employer frequents this. I am struggling to find a good paying job ($22 an hour or salary $55K at minimum). I moved from California to back here years ago and have been struggling. I moved back for family reasons. In California, I was making around $70K in salary and now I’ve been reduced down to $18 an hour.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Radford in communications from 2022 and it seems like everywhere I apply thinks I’m overqualified. I don’t think I’m asking for much with the above minimum but I’m completely stumped and don’t know what to do.

For family reasons, I cannot pick up and move back to California. My mom is very ill and will likely pass away in the next 3 years.

Can anyone point me in the direction? Looking for coordinator roles or social media marketing . I’m also open to Project management roles. Are there any positions paying at least $22 an hour or a salary of 55K?

Roanoke area Mini Cooper peeps, where you going for scheduled maintenance and/or engine work? I don't mean oil changes, I mean scheduled maintenance stuff still under warranty. I called BMW on Peters Creek, they only do oil changes on Minis, nothing else. Closest Mini Dealership is in Winston Salem NC. Anyone have any Minicentric recommendations for service, even if I'm paying for work still under warranty?
