What do you think, please share your toughts!
I want to upgrade it later, so if you have any ideas, please share :)

General Could someone ask their uncle who works at Capcom for more fixed perspective RE games?
Playing through the wonderful REmake right now and it's as good as expected. A real masterpiece. But it also makes me mad to think how I'll get to future entries and have to trade this incredible ambience, the unique, evocative atmosphere of hidden enemies and Dutch angles...for generic over the shoulder or first person perspective that's in every other game out there. Can Capcom go back to the classic way for some new REs?
Of course I'd really love if 2, 3 and CV could finally get done properly. It's such a crime they never got remade/mastered in this style. Imagine the gorgeous backdrops.
So yeah, if anybody's got an uncle at Capcom 👍

General Grandma-fication of Ramon
I played the original RE4 for the first time last year. Wasn't too impressed tbh but I thought Roman was an interesting character. An evil little kid who's not actually a little kid. Very enjoyable.
Now I'm playing RE4 remake and I'm enjoying it waaaay more than the original. It looks beautiful and plays way smoother. But I just got to the castle and for whatever reason Ramón, the evil little kid, looks like a shrunken grandma.
Did I interpret his design completely wrong in the original? 😅

General Jack Baker Is Still The Scariest Stalker
Replaying Re7 and I think Jack Baker is by far the most stressful stalker in any of the games. I think the locations definitely enhance his scariness but even after Re9 I still think he’s the scariest for first time and returning players. I’m curious if this is the general consensus or if anyone is leaning a different way.

We don't really know Ada's actual name 🤣

Forum question Should a Resident Evil 1 remake have more realistic (i. e. RPD/SWAT style) S.T.A.R.S uniforms?
According to RE1-RE2 character designer/background writer Isao Ōishi in "Capcom Friendly Club Style Fan-Book CAP!" Volume 5, the "true" S.T.A.R.S. combat uniform is essentially RE2 Leon's costume (in RE1.5's darker colors) with a ballistic vest, kneepads and helmet; but the team ultimately opts for individualized gear for personal reasons.
In RE1.5, Leon was meant to be able to equip either this full SWAT-style RPD gear (sans helmet, and featuring Hideki Kamiya's classic reddish protagonist palette), or a sci-fi style armor from the Umbrella USS. However, that feature was discarded in the final RE2 release, which left Leon only with his weird incomplete padded suit.
(Note that the RPD SWAT members seen in RE3's intro have a completely new design, as Ōishi left Capcom after RE2. It's very likely that RE1.5's generic RPD officers were repurposed into RE2's HUNK / USS.)
The CFC Fan-Book CAP! annotation is, of course, is a retcon that was never fully used in canon lore, since RE1's Chris and Jill's designs were completed before the whole pseudo-SWAT S.T.A.R.S. story setting was created: note that the rest of the S.T.A.R.S team uses variants of their designs, unlike the earlier Gelzer and Dewey. However, it's a solid in-story justification of why RE1's cops use highly personalized fatigues with multicolored Vietnam-era flak jackets instead of, y'know, something resembling a classic police uniform.
So far, the only S.T.A.R.S. members seen in REmake games, RE3's Brad Vickers and Jill Valentine, keep the same costumes from the classic games. However, for the RE2 remake, Leon's costume was heavily inspired by the complete uniform from RE1.5 (i. e. vest & kneepads). Should a hypothetical Resident Evil 1 remake return to Ōishi's idea of SWAT-style uniforms for the whole team, keep the original RE1 multicolor designs, or maybe do something completely different?
(... Or do you have any other personal favourite Chris/Jill costume that should be used as a base for the whole S.T.A.R.S team? RE5, Umbrella Chronicles, Revelations 2...?)

Fan labor/Art/Cosplay My Leon cosplay for Halloween
Hi everyone, just thought I’d drop by and show off my new Leon cosplay for Halloween. It’s been a while in the making, sourcing all the right equipment but I’ve still got a bit to go. Here it is so far, I will look at improving the screen accuracy in the future.

General Interesting thing I noticed while reading the Death Island manga
so I remember I watched the movie when it came out a few years ago and I thought it was alright. kinda felt like a waste of Leon and Jill's first encounter but whatever.
the one scene I really disliked was in the beginning when Jill is at the gun range and Chris comes in to talk with her about how he wants her off the case because he feels she needs time to recover (like emotionally from the weaker shit). He even goes into talking about Pierce and shares how they need to be careful about getting numb to their fight. but Jill kinda dismisses him like "I don't have time to care about my feelings, we need to kill bad guy" and then just ignores him.
I always felt like this was really out of character for Jill. ok the re3r is kinda responsible for changing Jill to be some badass who loves saying fuck and is cold to ppl, but Jill was always someone who was a very caring person and had such a good friendship with Chris. it feels like old pre 3 remake Jill would appreciate Chris sharing and while she would still wanna stay on the case, she would take some time to work through her baggage, with help that is now being offered.
anyways tldr it felt very out of character for Jill and yea PTSD can make ppl act different but this feels too far removed from how Jill would act.
Basically in the manga this scene is cut, they show Jill in the gun range and Chris sees her in there, but they never talk. I'm sure a lot of things were cut for time (or ig page space) but the mangaka says they were a big fan of RE growing up so I'd like to think that they chose to remove the scene cause they agree that the movie (now manga) is better without this certain scene. I would have liked to see it maybe be rewritten but cutting it also works.
I think Jill throughout the manga is a lot more in character and not an asshole to her best friends. idk kinda a rant but I just really like these characters and don't like seeing their personalities be retconed to be more marketable for the general audience. also this manga has some really great art and paneling, would definitely consider reading just for the art and it's like ten bucks on amazon
