Game Title: Ball & Stick — My physics-based platformer now has a free Steam demo!
https://reddit.com/link/1x8icth/video/c21qlxret2wh1/player
Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5188480/Ball_and_Stick/
🎮 Platform: PC Windows (Steam) - (mac coming soon)
🆓 Demo: Free to play
Hi everyone! I'm an indie developer, and I've just released the Steam demo for my game, Ball & Stick!
It's a 2D physics-based platformer where you control a ball and a long stick connected together. You'll need to use both to navigate obstacles, solve physics puzzles and make your way through a strange alien spaceship. An attachment system allows you to connect various different utilities and weapons to either end of the stick allowing different play time mechanics. Plus you can change your appearance by collecting new ones in levels or finding energy crystals and trading them for new appearances.
The Demo includes a single player level - The Core Reactor, a tutorial level and a preview of a level being worked on currently.
The game also has chaotic multiplayer action! - King of the Core, an arena where up to 8 players can compete in a battle for control.
I'd love for you to give it a try. I'm especially interested in hearing how the controls feel and whether the physics are fun to play with.
I'm the programmer and game designer for Ball and Stick, it was an idea I came up with about 6 years ago, I tried making it about 4 years ago but I got stuck on the mechanics of making the player character work. Now a few years later.. here we are! very exciting!
Thanks for checking out my game!

We made a rage game for two players, but decided it was not hard enough. So we glued the players together and made you control both of them, and here's what it turned out to be!
Hey everyone!
We are developing a physics platformer inspired by unforgiving climbing games like Getting Over It. Every step counts, and one wrong move can send you tumbling down.
The journey is going to be (very) hard, but the reward at the end would be absolutely worth it for those who dare to climb.

Stomp enemies, flip gravity, beat your time! My first platformer finally has a Steam page
Hi everyone! I’m a solo developer from Korea making Gravity Reversed, a speedrun action platformer.
You dive through the air and stomp enemies to fill your gravity gauge, then spend it to flip gravity. Chaining enemy takedowns builds combos that let you move faster, so it’s all about keeping your momentum and shaving seconds off your runs!
This is my first game, and I’ve spent the past two years figuring things out as I go. The Steam page is finally live! I’m a little nervous to share it, but I hope it looks like something you’d enjoy :)
If it looks like your kind of platformer, you can check it out on Steam through the link above. A wishlist would mean a lot to me!
Thanks for taking a look!
P.S. I’m planning to release a demo later this month. I’ll share another update when it’s ready to play!

Slingshot movement in a platformer
My game SlimyLeap is basically platforming mixed with an Angry Birds-style slingshot mechanic. The game has different worlds, levels and bosses, but everything is built around that same movement system.
Curious what other platformer fans think of this kind of control scheme.
P.S. I originally designed the controls for mobile, and that’s still where I think they feel best.

Making an intense 2D platformer called Partial. Does it look challenging in a fun way or frustrating?
I'm working on a game called Partial, a 2D action-adventure platformer about a strange, vulnerable creature trying to survive and uncover the mystery behind its own existence.
The game focuses on challenging platforming, puzzles, and combat in an interconnected world. You have limited retries and one hit kills, so learning the environment, being patient, and getting better through experience are a big part of the gameplay.
I'm aiming for an experience where the world doesn't explain everything to you, and figuring things out is part of the adventure.
If you get a chance to check it out, let me know what you think.

A player played a single level for 5h 35mins and then passed it
In my game people can create levels to the MEAT GRINDER (game mode) and others will need to play through them, while everyone can watch in real time.
This was one of the hardest user-made levels ever, but the Grinders just kept at it until they finished... It took 5h 35mins.
This video only shows the final run where they actually completed it, not the 2627 deaths it took...

I made a zero-gravity, precision platformer
Lunar Crypt is a Chinese New Year-themed, zero-gravity, precision platforming metroidvania, best described as Celeste + Tomb of the Mask + Hollow Knight + VVVVV.
You dash until you reach a wall, with just one chance to change direction mid-air before landing. Intuitive controls make the basics easy to learn, while mastering when and where to turn takes a ton of practice! It's super satisfying when you enter a flow state, chaining dashes together, hitting perfect mid-air turns, and avoiding obstacles in one fluid sequence.
The main concept is that you're exorcising the zodiac to save Chinese New Year. Nian has possessed the zodiac animals, threatening the turning of time itself. You follow the Daoist practice of talisman placement to exorcise them. Along the way, discover a story about identity, belonging, and finding your place between two worlds <3
The demo is out now for free!
