I see people who had good experiences with her but I wanted to throw out that I did not. I saw her for five years and had three spots that were concerning. She brushed it off for years. I finally went to get second opinions on them and have had multiple follow up excisions because they were abnormal and have spread.

I ended up following up with her former PA who moved to Seraly in McMurray.

Otherwise, Dr. Sheehan was very nice but my experience was upsetting.

I’m not sure it’s been this bad in my life, but this state has always been under construction.

Need to get rid of these which end up over promising and under delivering. Just another example of how prior generations made these liabilities that current working folks are now responsible for.

Need to do buyouts, get rid of the pension plans and move to traditional 401k which are far far more sustainable.

Stock market has been on an absolute tear the past 20 years. The concept that a pension fund coins be underfunded in this market climate is just sad. What happens when the stock market does poorly over a long period? They’re simply unsustainable.

This is all state stuff and these are legally required obligations. Social security is federal.  The ubi you talk about would be federal too.

I haven't been to this in a few years, but historically (IMO), this has been a pretty good event. I'm a web developer and I was always able to find a handful of talks to sit in on, and the professional networking opportunities were good.

Why don’t you help her? If you were actually useful maybe you’d have less vicious dogs to fear?

The article goes into a lot of detail about the pension fund, but it is missing a huge piece of the puzzle.

The fund was so poorly managed that it prompted FBI and SEC investigations.

https://www.spotlightpa.org/series/the-psers-scandal/

While no charges were ever filed, the investigation unveiled an incredible web of mismanagement over years, and now school districts and active educators are footing the bill along with taxpayers.

Pretty remarkable that this article completely glossed over this fact while pointing to various recessions or other factors.
