Advice Needed! Found Tamed Pigeon, Update
Update to my post from the other day. I haven't heard anything on Facebook yet, but I'll be keeping an eye out still.
In the meantime, I got a 42" dog crate that I'm gonna be setting up today, and ordering some food and grit online.
My question for now is regarding behavior. As a parrot owner, I understand that pigeons are different in their communication... so what does this mean? 😂 He's enjoys flying onto my head, singing and spinning, then jumping atop his temporary cage and doing the same thing. Any hands near him he bites, which I don't mind, doesn't hurt at all lol.
Should I be allowing him to bite? Or does that mean "give me space"? He usually walks over to bite, so I'm not sure. Thanks again for any advice!

Video What is Monsieur saying? (Sound on!)
Twice this week, Monsieur has been doing these soft coos (alone with me and now with Birbara). I know woodies can do this, but I've known him for three years, I've heard his different songs and nesting coos, and he's never done this with me before.
What is he saying? (Monsieur, not my son in the background!)

Medical Advice Needed Advice needed! Does he have Pox, Canker, or something else?
Hi everyone!
First of all, no worries! I’ll be taking this pigeon to a wild bird rescue tomorrow morning, but I was wondering if anyone knows what might be wrong with him.
When I was feeding one of my flocks today, this sweet guy came right up to me, sat on my hand, and tried to eat, but he was obviously struggling to swallow.
When I took a closer look, I noticed some crust around the outside of his beak, and it also looked like he had a cut at the corner of his beak. That’s why I named him Joe(seph) Ezekiel Joker.
He’s a big guy and otherwise looks fine, but I didn’t want to leave him behind, especially since he even stayed with me after the rest of his flock had left.
When I got home, I took a closer look and carefully opened his beak. He had VERY bad breath, and there was a white slime inside his beak (it kinda looked like eggshell membrane) that was almost gluing his beak shut.
Very, very carefully, I was able to remove the stuff inside his mouth. As I was doing that, the crust around his beak also came off very easily. There was no bleeding or anything. He seemed almost relieved and started eating and drinking, which appeared to be a little easier for him. I was worried that he was having trouble breathing, because his breathing is loud.
Again, I’ll be taking him to a rescue tomorrow, but I’d also love to learn more about caring for pigeons who need medical attention, since rescue centers are often so full and working extremely hard to help as many birds as possible. I’ve rescued a few pigeons before, but I’ve never had one who needed antibiotics or other medical treatment.
I would greatly appreciate any tips, help, or advice!
Also, please let me know if you have any idea what might be wrong with little Joe.

Advice Needed! My pigeon hates my feet!
Two days ago my three-month-old pigeon started to make some really strange sounds and began to bite my socks aggressively. I thought it was the socks so I was barefoot today. Same thing. Aggressive. And really biting with this different sound.
This is new. She’s put her beak in between my toes for food before. Played with my ankle bracelet. Nibbled on my nails. Never bit.
Otherwise she’s her usual sweet self.
Anyone else have this experience? Any advice?

Met some really friendly and polite pigeons the other day, and shared a bit of food with them. We of course had to go buy some seeds for them to enjoy! So beatiful and kind birds!
