Hi! Here’s my first project combining 3D (in Blender) and graphic design (in Photoshop)! How could I improve it?
About the piece: I see it a bit as an auto portrait, where the moth tries searching for sense in a world which seems to lack it. I love pieces packed with plenty of references to decipher and I really hope you'll enjoy it !
Thanks in advance :)

Posting to see how many people are self taught using YouTube/Reddit/Tutorials versus being taught in a class or by someone else!

I just picked up a 2nd display to run photoshop off both a few weeks ago...used them last week with 0 issues.sat back down today and when I move an image to the second display, all the options are greyed out on the primary display. So if I want to crop the image on the secondary display, I need to bring it back to the main display to do anyting to the file...any advice? Thanks!
I am on Golden Gate 27.0 Mac Studio M2 MAX

I started with a book of sketches of old symbols
I recreated them entirely in Photoshop, with no manual drawing
These symbols are vector, so I can use them on a real project

I've been trying to replicate this look but so far I'm stumped.

I've been using Photoshop for about 5 years, and surprisingly, I've never really used any plugins. I'm curious to know what plugins professional graphic designers actually use in their day-to-day workflow. Is there any plugin that genuinely makes your work easier, faster, or better? Or are plugins just nice to have?
I'd love to hear your go-to plugins and why you use them. Bonus points if you share a plugin you wish you'd discovered earlier!

Hi! I’m brand new to photoshop and my first big assignment is creating a desktop wallpaper, I found some inspiration that I want to emulate but no tutorials that I’ve found show me how to make an ASCII effect only in photoshop - they keep telling me to use a generator.
I need to find a tutorial to follow along to and have the link in my final assignment so my prof can double check that I’ve done everything correctly. HELP!

I have a picture of a chair where the chair needed to be rotated level.
After I did this using the Crop tool, the image has gaps which need filling - Pic 1.

All the instructions I've found to fill the blank areas using Generative Fill first call for 'dragging the canvas to expand'. So I thought I'd done this correctly but get the result in Pic 2.

What am I doing wrong?

I've built something that could replace infinite layer styles packs and styling plugins/actions.
It is a web tool so no installations needed. Lot of modifiers and assets too

I'm used to working with Procreate, where you can practically spin that thing with two fingers. But I'm trying to turn my canvas on Photoshop with two twisting fingers, and all it does is register it as a zoom in/out, or just moves my canvas around on the screen.
Am I missing something here? Misunderstanding?

More of an FYI for people and a good post for Google to crawl.
I updated to Photoshop 27.11 on Mac M1 Max. There is a bug where you cannot save an 8-bit RGB file as WEBP. You need to rollback to Photoshop 27.10 to get access to Save as Copy's WEBP format. Will update when Adobe release an update fixing this bug.
OS is MacOS 26.7 Tahoe, M1 Max.

I know the font's ITC Conduit, and also that there seems to be some sort of shadow effect to make it easer to distinguish due to contrast, but what puzzles me the most is that there seems to be some sort of subtle but noticeable glow effect on the green part with the name.
How do I properly emulate the subtitles from MW2 in Photoshop? Is there more stuff I should know?

I suck at Photoshop but this one is just cute. He just wanted to be tucked in in the second picture

Hey Reddit. I am currently experiencing this frustrating work-stopping bug, where Photoshop 2024 and 2025 editions will not allow me to save a blank document. (see picture). The saving window appears blank.
Ive tried restarting pc, and it keeps happening. Any work arounds would be most helpful, as its driving me batty and wasting me morning.

I'm trying to achieve a printed, risograph effect similar to whats in these photos. This artist (Sophy Hollington) does actual risograph printing, so obviously that would be the solution. But I'm wondering if there's a way to do this in photoshop with text and illustrations?

Hi. As above. In the app only upgrade I see is for £99 which includes PS Express + Adobe Express + Generative Credits. When I check my previous subscriptions there is option to subscribe to PS Express only for 29.99 I think. Will this go through? I really would like just PS Express not extras.

Maybe a minor gripe in the grand scheme of the beautiful program we call Photoshop, but it is a gripe that has lasted versions among versions.
Let me set the scene: I go to adjust the opacity of a layer. Then, I want to view the project I am working on in full, because my screen only allows me so much. Plus, viewing it in full screen mode is the optimal way of viewing a project you have spent hours laboriously tinkering with.
Easy enough, right? Wrong. Actually, it's so far from the truth, you wouldn't believe it.
You see, for whatever reason, the opacity slider input box STAYS SELECTED whenever you go to go into full screen mode, sending your Windows computer into what I can only describe as "high alert, sound all the alarms" mode. It YELLS at you for this simple mistake. Pictured below is the state that the opacity input field stays in, no matter how many times you click into the artboard area with no layer control buttons toggled.
My current workaround is to set full screen preview mode to a separate hotkey (now ctrl + F, as I never used the "find" feature) to fully override the selection, then gloriously spamming F to satisfy my ADHD filled desires to move as quickly as possible through these preview menus.
If anyone else has had this problem and can relate and/or help, I would love to hear and see if you have come up with to bypass this problem.
This is my personal hell. I guess life isn't all too bad if this is the worst thing going for me.
TLDR: Opacity input field stays selected after adjusting, will not allow full screen preview mode to activate.

Hi, I'm new to digital art. I had a commission for the art being printed and I think I messed up.
Requirement - The art needs to be printed in 12"\12" size synthetic sheet (i think that's what's it is called. One is for a photo album cover and the other is for inside the album)*
I had the final print size correct, but now after finishing it all, i realised that it is done in 72ppi..... Form what I read up,it needs it to be 300ppi for good quality print.
Deep down I know that it can't be fixed and needs to be redrawn, but i really hope there's a fix for this ... Please help me experts 😭😭
