Lost Tour FAQs

🎟️ General Admission (GA)

What’s the difference between Above GA and Below GA?

The floor is split into two GA sections. Above GA is in front of the main stage, while Below GA surrounds the smaller satellite/B stage.

Alex G performs on the satellite stage, while Phoebe performs on both stages. More of Phoebe’s set takes place on the main stage, but the satellite-stage section is a substantial part of the show rather than just a quick appearance.

People in both sections have reported being able to see the opposite stage, although your view will depend on where you’re standing and your height. The satellite stage also rotates, and unless you’re holding barricade, people have generally been able to turn or reposition as the focus moves between stages.

Neither section has seats — both are standing GA.

How early should I arrive for GA? Do I need to camp out?

If you just want a good view, reports so far suggest you probably don’t need to arrive extremely early. We’ve had multiple people arrive around doors — and some considerably later, including around 8–8:45pm — and still report getting good spots in both GA sections.

If you specifically want barricade, that’s a different matter and arriving earlier will obviously improve your chances.

Most importantly, GA queue and wristband procedures vary by venue. Some venues have used numbered early-entry wristbands while others haven’t, and arrangements for Above and Below GA may also vary — so please check your venue’s official website rather than assuming the arrangements at a previous show will apply to yours.

I’m short. Will I still be able to see from GA?

That’s impossible to guarantee, but attendees have generally described both GA areas as relatively comfortable rather than extremely overcrowded, with some room to reposition if you aren’t trying to stay at barricade. People arriving later have also reported finding good views, including from farther back in the pits.

Where does Phoebe walk between the two stages? Can I stand somewhere to get a high-five?

Phoebe moves through the floor between stages and has interacted with fans along the route.

When returning from the satellite stage to the main stage, she walks along the left-hand side when facing the main stage, with fans along the barricade sometimes getting high-fives as she passes.

Her exact entry point and route to the satellite stage may vary depending on the venue layout.

🕐 Set Times & Entry

What time do Alex G and Phoebe play?

At the shows so far, Alex G has generally played around 7:30–8:30pm, with Phoebe starting around 9pm and finishing around 10:30–10:45pm.

These are approximate times based on shows so far and may vary by venue.

Can I arrive after Alex G has started / skip the opener?

Yes. Multiple attendees have reported arriving after Alex G had started, including around 8–8:30pm, and being admitted without issue.

Just allow enough time for security, Yondr, finding your section and anything else you need to do before Phoebe starts.

👀 Seats & Sightlines

What’s the view like from the nosebleeds/side/limited-view seats? Are there screens?

Reports from upper-level and side seats have generally been positive, and some people have particularly enjoyed being higher up because it gives you a good view of the full lighting and production.

There aren’t conventional arena screens simply showing a live close-up of Phoebe throughout the show. Instead, projections and other visuals are incorporated into the production itself. Some limited/obstructed-view seats may therefore lose part of those visuals even if you can still see the stages.

Exact sightlines will obviously vary by venue and section.

♿ Accessibility, Lighting & Yondr

Are there strobes, intense lighting or smoke/haze?

Yes. There are some fairly intense lighting and strobe effects during the show. Several attendees have particularly mentioned Alex G’s set, while Phoebe’s set also contains some intense effects around the satellite-stage portion.

People who are sensitive to flashing lights have reported migraines or finding parts of the show difficult to look at, so please bear this in mind when deciding whether the show is suitable for you.

Attendees have also reported significant theatrical haze/smoke, particularly around the satellite stage and during Alex G’s set. How noticeable it is elsewhere in the arena will vary by venue, but anyone particularly sensitive to theatrical smoke or haze should be aware of it.

How does the phone-free/Yondr policy work?

Your phone stays with you during the show but is secured inside a Yondr pouch. If you need to use it, venues have designated phone-use areas where staff can unlock the pouch; it will then need to be secured again before you return to the phone-free area.

Cameras (digital or film) are not allowed, nor are smartwatches, laptops or e-readers. Please make the process as easy as possible by bringing only the essential items you need.

What about medical devices or accessibility requirements?

If you need access to your phone for medical reasons, make yourself known to Yondr staff when you arrive. They can direct you to someone who can provide the necessary accommodation.

For other accessibility requirements or medical equipment, contact the venue in advance or speak to Guest Services when you arrive.

👕 Merch

What merch is available, how much is it, and when should I buy it?

Please use the dedicated Tour Merch thread for photos, prices, sizing, stock reports and other merch questions.

If you have your heart set on a particular item in a particular size, earlier is safer: some items and sizes have sold out before Phoebe’s set at previous shows. If you’re more flexible about what you want, merch lines may become considerably shorter later in the evening.

I missed out on merch. Will it be available online? Can someone pick something up for me?

We don’t currently know whether the Lost Tour merch will be made available through Phoebe’s official online store after the tour, or whether sold-out items will be restocked.

Please be careful with unofficial websites claiming to sell Lost Tour merchandise. Websites using the “Lost Tour” name are not an official Phoebe Bridgers merchandise store. Do not buy from them — you are likely to lose your money!

If you’re looking to buy or trade for an item, or want to ask whether someone attending a future show can pick something up for you, please use the Marketplace Thread rather than the tour or city threads.

I remember there being a post on here months before Phoebe returned positing that Mike Kinsella of American Football was referring to Phoebe here in this article. Everyone was saying there was no chance but turns out it was spot on and this is definitely about the sick guitar solo in the middle of the song Bobby.

General / Discussion Thesis Survey: Do you wear earplugs at concerts? (5 min, anonymous)

Hey everyone! I'm Kieren, a design student in Toronto, and my thesis is on hearing protection at concerts and festivals. I'd love to hear from fellow Phoebe fans, especially anyone who's been to a show or two.

Whether you bring earplugs every time or have never thought about it, every answer helps. The survey takes about 5 minutes and you don't need to share any personal info.

Thanks so much for taking the time, and feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

General / Discussion Do yourself a favor and don't forget that it's influenza/COVID season

Slightly off topic but I'm just doing some unofficial contact tracing. 😂 Did anyone else attend the ATL concert and then come down with COVID? I should have masked, I know. I considered it, I just didn't want it to get gross and sweaty. 🙃 This is only the second time I've had it, I've always tried to be really careful, and I just was too excited and let my guard down. I'm so incredibly miserable. Be safe at these shows coming up! Consider masking at least while you're getting up close and personal with strangers in the mile-long merch lines!! Of course I can't know it came from the show, I'm not trying to be disparaging at all. Just wishing someone had reminded ME that there is an inherent risk in giant groups of people like this.

Archive DEEP DIVE ARCHIVE #006 — Ask Me To / Steamroller (2014)

Thumbnail

Here’s an early performance of 'Steamroller', originally known as 'Ask Me To', recorded for KXLU Radio’s LIVATION programme in Los Angeles in 2014, three years before the release of Stranger in the Alps.

The performance features Phoebe on vocals and guitar, Waylon Rector on lead guitar, Bryan De Leon on drums and Zack Bilson on bass.

The song dates back to at least 2013, with a live recording surviving from the Echoplex in Los Angeles. Phoebe’s early band Buster (more on them another time!) also recorded a version of 'Ask Me To' in 2014, before the song appeared as 'Steamroller' on her 2015 Killer EP, which, as we all know, is no longer available on streaming. It also featured in the closing moments of a 2014 episode of Switched at Birth (Season 3, Episode 17), before the EP’s release.

In a 2016 CBS interview, Phoebe described the song as “about, like, being in love with a best friend and not wanting to mess up the relationship”.

Unlike 'Killer' and 'Georgia', which were re-recorded for Stranger in the Alps, 'Steamroller' was left off the album. Phoebe explained why in an interview with Allston Pudding:

“For ‘Steamroller,’ it always felt like that was the version; it felt like an acoustic love song to me.”

It’s interesting to revisit one of Phoebe’s earliest songs and hear how she was performing it before the release of Killer. What do you think of this early version? Do you wish it featured on Stranger in the Alps?

Photo Who the heck took that creepy pic of PB?!

I saw one of Phoebe’s fan accounts this morning talking about how someone recently posted a (now deleted) photo of Phoebe, saying that they learned their lesson not to take pictures of her in public. But it looked like the photo was taken in a public restroom?!?! Like come on, guys. She had to comment on the photo and say she didn’t like it for you to know that?! I don’t care how young of a fan you are, you should know it’s completely inappropriate to snap photos of ANYONE in a bathroom. Can we just collectively agree to be cooler fans than that? Especially toward an artist who has gone to great lengths to gain control of the photos and videos that are publicly posted of her. But also, anyone in a bathroom is off limits, celebrity or not. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

General / Discussion still standing

It has been on loop for me for the past 2 months since lost weekend came out. I had a traumatizing but formative relationship with someone who recently got deported as a result of what they did to me. I have been mourning like this person died. the conflicting feelings eat me alive but this song put words to so much of what I feel about all of it even when it’s very much about something very different. I love you phoebe thank you for your art, thank you for giving it to us and letting us cry to it and mold it to apply to our own hearts and experiences

Question Could I dress up as Phoebe for Phoebe?

Hi! My phoebe concert is coming up and I’ve been looking for a good costume/outfit to wear. I was on TikTok and came across the video of phoebe playing waiting room when her hair is short as a teenager. I realized my hair is the same cut and colour as hers was haha. Would it be parasocial and odd if I were to dress up as younger her or more of a silly homage? I know she’s sensitive to her privacy and especially those younger years so even if she never saw me (likely) I don’t want to potentially make her uncomfortable.

Question Chain Mail at the Lost Tour

Has anyone worn chain mail to any of the concerts? I’m trying to decide what to wear tomorrow and am concerned if I wore chain mail it would be a security issue. Small pieces, just a belt and a shoulder piece.

General / Discussion As Above - Interpretation

I’m mom of a 4 year old boy and I SOB every time I hear this song. I do NOT understand interpretations of the song where she’s singing about a romantic partner or friend. To me I can only hear it as being about a child. Am I wrong? Other parents do you feel this way?

Merch Anyone tried to return items in the UK? (Mini rant)

I received my merch order this month and got three things, two were for my boyfriend and one was for me. I wasn’t happy with the tee so wanted to return it, and have now spent the week emailing with, what I’m guessing is a bot, back and forth begging them to put me in contact with a person. Initially it called itself “Bruno” but then just stopped signing off all together because I kept asking “put me in contact with a person”.

All it would do was send the same returns page (which expired in September… I think I got my order confirmation then…) and then write that “I can get in contact for any help if the page doesn’t work”, but, if you do ask for help, it just sends you the same page! It has sent me that returns page maybe 6 times.

I thought I had finally got through to someone when they started asking questions about the item, but sadly the follow up email this morning was just another link to the returns page…

Anyway, just wanted to hear if anyone else has tried to return something as well as vent my frustration.
