Sorry if this is the wrong place but figure lots of crossover with Conor fans and that’s how I heard of her initially. I have a ticket going for Maria Taylor tonight in London and can’t go if anyone wants it. Free to first reply.

Last night, I had the pleasure of seeing the new documentary about the Felice Brothers. Conor, ever the alchemist of language, finds words for his affection and admiration for the band that feel both achingly intimate and somehow universal. There are also snippets of new music he’s recorded with James, a suggestion of more beauty to come.
Some asshole (me) also took the opportunity to investigate the lore surrounding James allegedly slipping Conor a demo during an ambulance ride. For the record, it didn’t go down like that but i wouldn’t have judged them if it did, the music is that good.

In town for a conference and was excited to see my favorite band was playing.

Absolutely banger of a show. The set list, the vibes, you name it. I didn‘t think it could get much better and then Phoebe comes out. Definitely a core memory experience.

Just like the title says, have a freebie for Detroit tonight.

Will send it to the first to claim it and edit to update once it is claimed.

Hi all! I have one extra ticket to the show on 10/7 at Union Transfer in Philly. Got it on presale for $75 with fees but happy to let it go to another fan for $50 🙂

DM me if interested!

Amazing throughout. Thank you!

Best setlist I’ve seen in a looong time. The woman doing backing vocals on riot was amazing.

I invite everyone who likes this unique…

Hey y’all, I bought a ticket to the 10/13 show at Tipitina’s and sadly won’t be able to make it. I paid $56, but am willing to accept an offer (or if you wanna trade art/music/Conor stuff I’d be open to that too!)

☆thank you for any and all help!☆

From their Instagram this morning

The main melody in Haunted off Phoebe’s new album is very reminiscent of Sausalito.

“I’m off to see an old friend
We’re gonna get on the road again
I’ll be waving from the plane”

Is very similar melodically to Sausalito’s verse (including the first three lines of the song, but also check the downward-moving variation in “All of creation makes a sound too soft to hear”).

Anyways, that’s the post! Love both songs and artists.

Wanted to make this post partially because I bet a lot of listeners are wracking their brain trying to figure out which Bright Eyes or Conor Oberst song Haunted reminds them of.
