Municipal Election season is upon us so I decided it's time to make an informational post. Elections PEI will perform the elections in five Municipalities across the Island however other municipalities are still holding elections on their own. All elections should be held on November 2nd. If you are unsure which municipality you are apart of or if you are a part of one a map can be found here.
Information on the Elections run by Elections PEI is best found here.
If you live in one of the other Municipalities some general information can be found here. Below you'll find links to all Municipal websites, where possible I will link to the notice of election. Communities in bold are having a vote, still looking for candidates, or their status is unknown at time of this posting. Names that are not bolded have had all their positions filled by aclimation.

update: we found a guy in new glasgow he's coming in 20m
update 2: guy is here!!
edit: also please stop commenting "no one's ever found a dead cat in a tree" it took me 20s to google it and find out it's not true you're just being assholes

Its gaurnted to win every time and pay you!
(For the reccord its their new ticket redemption machine, might be a atm too (the card slot and pin pad)although they cant have an atm on the casino floor due to safe gambling laws so unsure if it will be an atm too) ans I made the post because the sign they put on it calls it a slot machine

Does anyone know of any brand outlets in PEI or around it? Like the adidas outlet in Halifax?

For context I moved from Summerside to Charlottetown four years ago. I was one block away from Grafton. Anyways I hope you’re all having a better day than I am 😂

Does anyone have any inside knowledge of when Wicker was supposed to drop in theater ls in the area (mostly Charlottetown) I was planning to do a double watch of Wicker and Wild Wood , but haven't seen any dates yet even though it's set to release 23 or 24th I think, thanks alot🧺🧺
Heyy 23f, I moved here in June from Nova Scotia, I absolutely love it on the island. I really suck at getting out as I am in school full time for my BA in psych (in my last year) and do that through distance learning, and then on weekends I work 12-8am. I’d love to meet some new people though as I only know my fiancé here. I enjoy playing music, Xbox, baking, and am always interested in learning new things!! I’d love to connect with new people 🙂

A long shot, but does anyone have an inside scoop on potential headliners? 👀 My fiance and I go every year but we’re torn on buying the early bird tickets before they announce any headliners because we’re planning our honeymoon as well. Trying to figure out if cavy will be worth it for us or not

Straight up I have never had much respect for the team and the players after my experience with them as the "rockets" in high school.. yes I just dated myself 😅
But my nephews are big fans and have a billet living with them for the team..
But after today when they were doing community out reach for the food drive with the radio station and hearing them complain to their social media girls " are we getting paid for this? Can we leave yet? Is this over yet?"
Mind you they were supposed to be there for an hour.. they were there maybe 45.. arrived late left early.
Just mind boggling that these are the guys the kids and younger players are supposed to look up to.

I put together a questionnaire for the 2026 Charlottetown mayoral election and asked all seven mayoral candidates the same questions.
I run Charlottetown Fire News, and while the page is primarily focused on fire and emergency services, I wanted to put together something useful for people trying to compare the candidates on issues that will affect Charlottetown over the next four years.
The questions cover topics including municipal growth, emergency services, fire service capacity, infrastructure, planning, and the decisions facing the next mayor and City Council.
All seven mayoral candidates were given the same questions, and their responses are presented together so voters can compare their answers directly.
You can read the full questionnaire and all of the candidate responses here:
I'm sharing this as an independent voter resource, not as an endorsement of any candidate.
If you've read through the responses, I'd be interested to hear what stood out to other Charlottetown voters — especially if there are answers you think deserve more discussion before November 2.
