I’ll vote for the candidate that fires the person and/or committee in charge of organizing the marathon. Complete chaos out there this morning. Runners on unscheduled routes, inexperienced traffic controllers, lanes improperly blocked, no signage out there.

I never realized how much time has been wasted until I left PEI.

It can take 3 weeks to accomplish some goal of yours in a bigger, more alive city with more diverse communities. But in PEI, It would take 3 months.

This island slows you down. It makes you feel isolated and behind. People stare at you all the time and there’s no spirit. And it makes you bored out of your mind.

PEI is the kind of place you visit for only 2 weeks in July and leave. It’s the kind of place elderly couples come to settle down.

But it sure isn’t the place to raise your ambitious, goal-driven children that are full of life and energy, who dream big and want better opportunities.

If you want to feel alive, leave PEI.
