I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed the complete and total mess the UPEI library is in. I have been in and out of the library recently and noticed the renovation is taking forever. The entire place is ripped apart and nothing is even getting done. The company UPEI has hired to do the work is literally sitting around doing absolutely NOTHING for hours on end.

WHY isn’t UPEI Facilities Managenent property overseeing this project ?? Is there no project manager overseeing this and taking corrective action?

WHY is UPEI wasting money on this contractor to begin with? How does such an important project get awarded to such a bad company?

He’s gone his entire political career as Mitch, but suddenly all these (ugly) signs have Mitchell Tweel. If he wins the election, Charlottetown is doomed. I’d rather another Brown win than NIMBY’s final boss.

Anyone ever have a run in with the summerside by law officer? The only time I ever see them, their around schools ticketing parents picking up their kids.

Bylaw officer is a job paid by taxpayers whose soul purpose is to get more money from said taxpayers. Anyone know what else they do? I could just be ignorant idk.

Hello, anybody experiencing mobile data issues with Telus around UPEI? Me, my family and my work phone shows no signal sos only.

I’ll vote for the candidate that fires the person and/or committee in charge of organizing the marathon. Complete chaos out there this morning. Runners on unscheduled routes, inexperienced traffic controllers, lanes improperly blocked, no signage out there.

Earlier today I noticed that the PEI design is unfortunately missing on the Canadian license plate designs and serial formats Wikipedia page.

Looks like Halifax is the closest theatre showing “You Can See Everything”. I may be biased with my level of Fielder-fandom, but kinda shocked no local theatres are showing it with all the buzz it’s getting. No clue how movie procurement works, but any chance we get it in a PEI theatre?

Hi I'm moving to PEI to complete my clinical rotations as a medical laboratory technologist.

I am considering staying and working here when I finish my rotation. Is there a good amount of work opportunities? With the recent opening of foreign trained techs being able to work here and new schools opening left and right in Ontario, I am a bit worried.

How's it like working for health PEI? Is the hospital in Summerside or Charlottetown better? Is there any chance of getting sign in bonus or relocation fees?

Just in general how is it living in PEI and how do I survive the winter?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
