I just got goop about three days ago! She hasnt since ive gotten her and shes a juvenile so she typically should be eating more often. Im just stressed about her because shes my first amphibian and id wanted a pacman frog for over 3 months now. Should i dig her up, soak her and try to feed? Or just leave her alone until she comes out on her own? (Goops too young to tell the gender so sort of manifesting shes a girl, if not ill be happy either way :))

This is the time of year where the santa ana’s are blowing and making fall 90 degrees. Unfortunately this also means higher temps for our pacman babies. I’m posting this because this is my first October with a frog and I wasn’t aware of how my room bakes. So my surprise when she’s up and jumping, hungry, vibrant, on Wednesday and responsive but lurking on Friday and by Saturday night she’s already in decay. If any experienced owners want to comment and give tips please do! I’m making this so others like me don’t have their frog die with this heat.
She was my special baby and I wish I could’ve done better with her, any advice is appreciated but keep in mind my pet just died. I’m not going to be getting another frog until I move either, we’re temp living here and the room I have has been getting so so so hot.
Edit so people don’t think I did nothing: My house has central air, i have a fan in my room going 24/7, i have an air purifier on the same timer as her light, i have blinds and blackout curtains closed when im not in my room, i regularly make sure even if im busy that its still moist in there. she was in the one corner of my room that does not get sunlight and i had an extra cover to keep humidity and keep sunlight out when the blinds are open.

I haven't got any enclosures or pets yet (other than my isopod colony) and have never had frogs or reptiles, but I've wanted them since I was a kid so I'm currently planning the enclosures I need for the species I would like to keep
The title says it all really, I'm aware it exceeds the minimum for a male, but I like to give my animals as much space as I feasibly can, is a 2x2x2 plenty of space for a male? Or should I shuffle my notes around and aim for a 3x2x2?
I am aware they don't do much or move much btw, but neither do I and I wouldn't wanna be cramped up in a tiny room for the rest of my life 😂

If you see this in other frog communities it’s me, I am trying to set up a dusting schedule for my three frogs and have had literal hell trying to figure it out. Amphibians cannot convert beta carotene into vitamin A, that being said they cannot convert carotenoids and algal carotenoids either🫠I was going to get a full vitamin A supplement for them but apparently they can overdose on it, which is why so many people make the multivitamins using things that animals can convert into vitamin A instead of the vitamin itself.
So now I’m stuck.. I have searched high and low for a MULTIVITAMIN that doesn’t use high sources of vitamin A, or an alternative they CAN convert, doesn’t use any carotene or carotenoids, has multiple vitamins they need, and doesn’t use d3 or calcium (I have separate powder for both of them) I have whites tree frogs and a Pac-Man frog so I would prefer one supplement that can work for all three of them(two kinds of frogs) but I am open to two different supplements that work for either of them at this point. I seriously need help and there’s barely anything on the internet that is helping. 😮💨

I’ve had my frog for 2 months. He is young (little less than two inches). I have him in a 25 gallon terrarium with UVB and a heat emitter that I switch out depending on the temp of my room. The ambient temp of his tanks during the day is between 78-82 and at night 71-76. His humidity is consistently over 80%. I‘ve always fed him cut up nightcrawlers at night a little after I turn off the light. He’s always been difficult when it comes to getting him to eat but each feeding was somewhat successful after the first week of having him. But now he has completely stopped eating and is stressed when I try to feed him. He‘s only eaten two small pieces of worm this week. I have tried offering newer worms and dubia roaches with no success. I suspect it is because his soil temperature is too cold, as my room gets very very cold. I have no idea what to do. I’ve seen heat mats can cause them burns but how else do I warm the dirt directly? I’ve thought about downgrading the tank to something smaller to make it easier to keep it warmer but I don’t want to stress him out further. Usually he comes out every night but the past two nights he’s stayed buried. Please help, I don’t want him to starve!

Hi! Me again to ask some more questions.
("He" used as I haven't properly determined gender.)
Went back to the expo I got him from today, and they told me he's around a year old! I was surprised as he seems so small, so I was wondering if it's normal for him to be this size at his age?
I assumed he was a juvenile, so I've been feeding him every other day (3x a week) but I now know that's too often given he's older. How often should I swap it to? I know it's about once a week, but I don't know if I should do something a bit more often (4-5 days?) since he is smaller.
These pictures are also from a couple weeks ago, but he is not much bigger if bigger at all. Just chunkier since I've been overfeeding.
EDIT : Going to see an exotic vet tomorrow just to make sure all is good in Gub's world. Hoping it's all alright, but never can be too careful! Will update after our visit. 😊

So I got my frog on September 23, i am a first time pacman frog owner butttttt I have many other reptiles! I have three leopard geckos, a gargoyle gecko, and a crested gecko. so I may be a first time amphibian owner, but I'm not new to reptiles and such. I'm just getting concerned because he's a baby and I know they're supposed to eat every day. I read that sometimes they're picky so I've offered pac attack, mealworms, dubia roaches, nightcrawlers ect and everything... his humidity sits at around 70 to 75 and his daytime temperatures is around 80/84. He's so small. Ive left food in the enclosure but not noticed it missing. he's approximately 3 cm long and hes 11 grams. please help😭🙏🙏

Hi, my Pac-Man frog rampage I've had for a year now, she's in a 10 gallon with coacoa fiber and live plants I keep damp enclosure(not dripping wet) around 70-80% humidity. She's fed nightcrawlers at the moment, but doesn't eat as frequently as I thought as she would only eat one or two every couple days or even a week even if i tried she wouldn't eat every time. And has a UVB light. Last night I saw she was poking out of the substrate. So I go to feed her and she wouldn't open her eyes or move. I move her and she's bloated and firm and her bottom is red, her legs spread out. I thought oh no she didn't make it, literally lifeless. It was late at night and I said I would give her a proper burial in the morning. Well, I buried her slightly and this morning I check and she's unburied and alive. I want to take her to e vet but they're closed right now and I tried calling but left in voicemail. She looks like this at the moment, I don't know what's wrong but she's my baby I don't want her to pass, I don't know if she came back from the dead but I'm scared. I don't use Reddit often or post and how to post this as nsfw as I'm sharing photos but she isn't dead and breathing and moving a bit. Wondering if it was normal or what happened or if she's between a shed or something, I don't know for sure. I put her on a paper towel in a container for now as she's alive. What can I do while I wait for emergency vet to get back to me?? Also how do I add photos ??

Just got my first amphibian from Repticon. Their name is either Cartman or Carmen depending on which gender they turn out to be. How does their enclosure look? And what are tips on feeding them if I can’t find them.

After a whopping 3 week hunger strike and several attempts at feeding, cut up nightcrawlers seemed to do the trick! I gave him three big chunks, and he didn’t seem interested in a fourth so I left him be as to not stress him out since he’s new. He’s now tucked himself into a dirt blankie to digest. I’m very happy, as I was getting very worried about him not eating. I tried both horn worms and crickets the previous weeks and he was just not having it!
I did finally get digital temp and humidity gauges with probes, which is giving me a way more accurate read. So far his enclosure is juuuuust under where it needs to be in temp (by legitimately a degree on both the cool and warm side of the tank…). I’m wondering if I need a strong heat bulb to reach the bottom, or if I need to cover both sides in aluminum foil rather than just the warm side? The humidity is doing good though!
I did give him a quick rinse after he fed, but he made himself dirty again by digging into the dirt. What an asshole.

(Pic for attention lol) Main question stated in the title
I'm a new frog mom (he came home 2 weeks ago), adopted Wumbo (1 yo cranwelli albino boy) from a coworker. He came with a tank; I didn't refresh it until last Sunday, when I noticed a bit of mold on the surface.
Do we think he's okay? I know it could be better but I'm trying my best despite my schedule and limited finances...
I just worry and want to make sure I'm giving him a good home. I've never had a frog before. New tank (22.5 gal, 24x18x12) just arrived and I wanna try to make that bioactive, but it'll be a minute before he moves in.
TLDR; 2 weeks ago: adopted Wumbo, pooped, fed him > 1 week later, refreshed tank + found poop, fed him > 1 week later, he hasn't surfaced; conditions seem ok, but just wanna consult - do you think he's ok?

I bought everything for a Pacman frog today including the frog itself. I’m very new to owning any type of frog and wasn’t super sure on what to buy. Here’s a list of what I bought: 24x18x18 terrarium, water dish, fogger, hydroballs, substrate mesh, substrate, leaf litter, live plants, reptisafe, 100W Repticare ceramic infrared heat emitter, and a Hygger Zoo UVA UVB LED light strip. I may have forgotten to list a couple things but I also have a hygrometer thermometer coming in the mail tomorrow. I wasn’t sure how often to run the lights and heating bulb or how often to turn on the fogger. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Fed mr pickles, who I suspect is really mrs pickles, came back a few hours later to check on him and caught him eating his shed. Was supposed to be a Pikachu, but I am liking the lime green.
