A quick test I did on vacation for anyone wondering how good the zoom on the X9 Ultra is

From OPPO Zhuo Shijie:
For the first time in the series, we've pushed the bezels to under 1mm.
From 1.45mm on the Find X8, to 1.15mm on the Find X9, and now to 0.99mm with this generation, we have focused on one thing for three consecutive generations: challenging physical limits to give the spotlight back to the content.
Behind that 0.99mm is a major breakthrough in new chip-level packaging technology. It’s not just narrow; the real challenge was achieving "equal width on all four sides". Only when ultra-narrow meets uniform symmetry can the sense of a border be further diminished, allowing the image to truly fill your field of vision. Whether you're binge-watching in full screen or gaming in landscape, the black edges no longer steal the show, and your view is no longer disrupted by the margins. Your attention naturally stays focused on what's right in front of you.
By bringing the bezels down to under 1mm, Find X10 offers you an industry-leading, immersive viewing experience.

I had applied for closed beta for Color OS 17 on my mom's OnePlus 13. And received it yesterday.
Works great. And OSee is awesome. Works great. Further the AI Mindpilot works much better.
Color OS 17 is a bright example of how an already smooth OS can be made smoother with better adoption to fluidity along with inclusion of new features that actually helps in day to day activities like the advanced mind pilot and OSee. Photo agent hasn't arrived in closed beta atleast on Oneplus 13 but hopefully it shall come with the stable update. Next the animations are so so awesome. Already it was, but now its better. Further in Oneplus 13 the battery life has increased which has got bad in Oxygen OS latest version. Cameras, I can't say as of now but whatever 2-3 clicks I have taken, seems the same as the previous version.
How are your experience with beta/stable Color OS 17? Any bugs???

I'm not planning to buy any of them anytime soon (I've bought S25FE back in August, and my 2023 Oppo A78 is still fine albeit lagging a bit with, less than stellar battery life), im just asking which one is overall better

I am thinking about buying an X8 Ultra that I found for about 450 euros. It’s 18 months old so do we know how long it will get software updates for? CN ROM Has the same or different policy than global X8 series?

Hi guys, this is my first post on reddit. Expecting some help in deciding whether to go for x10 or x9 pro.
Currently an S23 user, Confused right now if x10 is the downgrade version of x9 pro or what, as oppo is now skipping the pro version.
Please help!!

Hello, does anyone have any recommendations on what case to get for the find x9 ultra?

Bought x9 ultra yesterday after contemplating for 3 months because of internet chatter...
What a phone and camera
My only picture since I bought it.
The camera looked dull in comparison videos... Don't fall into that trap.. when I took this picture... Closest representation of what I saw. This is at 10x!
Loving it!

I activated my find x9 ultra and for a bunch of points... What do I do with them? Any tips? Also do you folks purchase the extended warranty for 6k?

Just received my Find X9 Ultra. Been an S23 Ultra user for years, and a Samsung user for more than 10 years. Boy, I gotta say, it’s been a delightful experience using the X9 Ultra so far.
Smooth and fast animations, unbeatable camera, the System Cloner transition is ridiculously smooth, and the phone feels absolutely premium in the hand.
I don’t even remember being this excited when I first got my S23 Ultra.
Glad the Vivo X300 Ultra I ordered was on back order and I changed my mind and went with this beast instead.
Anyone who’s still considering it, you can, and you should, pull the trigger.

Well like the title says, I took out my 9U with the lens to take some photos at the practice. I'm not a photographer or even an expert but I'm happy with it to be honest glad that I got the 300 mm lens for it.

I'm looking to buy a Oppo flagship in future (Find X10 Ultra). I am currently using a Vivo X200 Ultra. I have some doubts regarding Raw photos in Oppo flagships. So if owners of find X series can help me, it would be a big help.
I am currently used to (SRAW + Jpeg) mode in X200 Ultra. SRAW is computational raw with luma noise reduction however it doesn't have AI influence, the textures are realistic, even chroma noise isn't removed, It retains Full Dynamic range like in auto mode, you can take a human subject with the sun behind and still have both the sun and human face exposed correctly. The accompanying JPEG is great as well as I get stock vivo processing (set to any color profile i want, with tweaks too).
In Oppo phones i just love the auto mode JPEG color profile. But since I'm used to taking computational raw photos now I have some doubts since raw is hidden inside master mode.
Is there a computational raw + Jpeg option? Or will it just give a computational raw photo without the jpeg?
Do the raw photos in master mode retain full dynamic range of auto mode photos? (I know master mode JPEGs hack HDR)
What's the difference between raw and raw max?. Is raw a computational raw or single exposure capture?
Are raw photos devoid of AI? (I am perfectly fine with noise reduction unless it's too aggressive). However I don't want AI influencing people's faces.
Does the raw photos have auto mode colors or master mode colors or just sensor capture colors?
Does the raw photos have embedded Hasselblad color maps? Which come into Lightroom. If they have embedded color maps, if i save a JPEG out of the raw photo in native gallery, if i get auto mode or master mode color science with the jpeg?
Do raw photos or JPEGs in master mode follow the resolution based on light intake (12 or 25 or 50mp) or just standard 12mp files?
Storage space of one 12mp computational raw photo (for eg in vivo SRAW is 25mp constant)
If any expert in oppo phones who is using or have used them recently (after they changed pro mode to master mode from Find X7 Ultra) can answer and enlighten me, it would be a huge help.
Thanks in Advance.
