As the title says, the auto mode for both video with or without HDR enabled is no match to Master or pro Video mode. Especially in video the difference is so ridiculous. It's way sharper and true to colour and has also way higher bitrate. Only the OIS fails occasionally but that's not a big deal. The worst part is that it gives even way better results at lowlight. So what's the point of the default mode ? Hell, the auto video even fails at synchronizing with the flicker sensor. I haven't found any scenario where the default mode beats master or pro mode. It's still a shame that we can't get a proper pro mode for selfie beside the hasselblad high Res. These modes that show us how good the sensors actually are but oppo doesn't unlock their full potentional.

Is there any way or is there any apk which allows to take unprocessed full resolution RAW files with the Oppo Find X9 Ultra?

I use "Camera FV-5" apk to take RAW photos , and I like them. But they are only 12mpx. files.

Does anybody know any good working gcam mods for the X9 Ultra with all the lenses working?

The latest Oppo Mini Pad that I’m so tempted to get! The reason being so light and with a matte display!

Other than that, I’m not sure what other functions or features it has other that if you have an Oppo device, it can connect both at once.

After three years, I finally upgraded from a second-hand Xiaomi Redmi 12 (you can tell by the camera quality lmao) to an Oppo Find X9 Pro that I got on clearance for $512 (where I am, it's usually around $1300) with all the accessories included. After checking four separate stores, I found out this was literally one of the last units left in my country. I'm convinced this is the best deal that has ever existed.

Do you guys notice when using always on display,
first time you lock, the screen of AOD displayed and bright. then the screen fully off, in 1 seconds it's active the AOD with slowly dim brightness. When the dim aod shown, i thought there is notification.

all that working with the animation of finger print too and for me it's kinda annoying.

do you guys feel that too? is it better on ColorOS 18?
any advice? since noticing I turned off the AOD.

I wanna buy this phone, but SoT is a bit worrying, people say it last for 5-6 hours which is bad for me, but I don’t have any alternatives at this price, because in terms of the camera and overall comfort, I think this will be the best choice for the money, and if I want something with a better battery, I’ll have to make compromises when it comes to the camera or ergonomics, also i can't buy the 8s version because no one sells it So the question is, is the battery problem really that serious? Is there any way to fix it? Or should I simply not buy this phone at all if I’m so concerned about the battery?

I rly dont get it why the only option to get h:m:s in the statusbar (the one not set in my screenshot) in COS17 reverts to h:m after 5mins... Why would Oppo do this? Anybody got a workaround? Gotta long press the time in the status bar every 5mins to get h:m:s format back for another 5mins... 🙄

Edit: found a workaround. Download system ui tuner from playstore (the one with black and white icon, search on Google). Set your time in the status bar to h:m in the COS settings. Open system ui tuner, status bar, clock and set it to h:m:s. Seems to overwrite the COS17 internal status bar. Works for me since about an hour rn.

My initial choice was X200T. It went out of stock, and I don't find any other phone with good specifications under that price bracket. Yeah, there is Motorola Signature, but after-sales service is not up to the mark.

Good camera + battery and good software experience.

Should be lag-free for 4 years.

512 GB variant is top priority.

I am getting the Find X9 ultra 512gb with trade in of my OnePlus 12 for a total of 1.1L INR (1030 Euros). My main priorities are camera ofc with performance as i do a lot of video editing. Will the upgrade be worth it, as I'm paying twice the amount i paid for my OnePlus 12, is the Upgrade that huge? moreover are the cameras satisfactory for the price(I'll be shooting a lot of photos and videos even with log )? Or should I wait for an year or more to buy the x10 or x11 ultra?
