Lebron James Jr's preseason stats: 2.2 PPG, 2.8 APG, 2.4 RPG, 0.2 STL, 2.6 TOV on 25/12/100 shooting splits
Source: the nba dot com site for Lebron James Jr
He actually had more personal fouls and turnovers than points scored this preseason lol
How are we feeling about Lebron James Jr's outlook at the nba level? Despite having access to coaching from arguably a top 5 basketball player ever for his entire life, he still looks pretty putrid as he's about to enter his 3rd year in the league. How much longer does he have in the league? Which country do y'all think he gonna be playing in soon?

Why does the 1st game of the season start Tuesday at 3pm ET in Detroit?
I've never seen a week day game start at this time unless it's being played in London or something. And on opening day no less.. what in the world is going on here?

I really respect KG giving props to generations after
I never got to watch KG play in his prime, but his highlights are so good. I love his trash talk and intensity.
But the thing that made me really respect KG ids how much props he gave to the guys underneath him. He's respected lebrons greatness, each draft class he gives the new guys props. He seems like a truly stand up guy, that truly respects the game of basketball.
And this is a guy that played a very different brand of basketball, so to respect how players evolved is truly unique and refreshing.

Tyrese Haliburton's Preseason Averages: 18MPG; 16PPG on 53/53 splits; 5APG, 2RPG, 2 STOCK, 2 TOV
And compared to Siakam & Zubac:
| - | GP | MPG | PPG | FG | 3FG% | FT | RPG | APG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hali | 3 | 18 | 16 | 19/36 (53%) | 8/15 (53%) | 2/4 (50%) | 2 | 5 |
| SpicyP | 4 | 20.75 | 13.25 | 18/36 (50%) | 6/16 (38%) | 11/11 (100%) | 2.25 | 3.5 |
| Big Zu | 4 | 19.25 | 10.25 | 18/28 (64%) | 0/0 | 5/9 (56%) | 8 | 2.75 |
Opponents were the Timberwolves (w/ Ant and LaMelo playing), Hawks, Thunder (w/ SGA and JDub playing, but no Chet), and Bucks. Tyrese missed game 2 vs Atlanta. I don't think that any of the Pacers' "big 3" played in 2nd halves.
Interestingly, all three guys averaged at least 2 STOCK per game. And perhaps Siakam spent time in the lab working on free throws??? Anyway, the regular season (and ~30MPG) is the next test.
If you ask me, the Haliban is back; Siakam is tapped back into his Devil Magic; and the new recruit from Eastern Europe is quick to pick up on the Dark Arts 🎭😈👽😈. (Among other things, Zu had two single half double-doubles!)

Joel Embiid on this team needing to sacrifice: "I'm against the concept of sacrificing. I think the way I explained it was you do what you do best and we're going to support you. ... I don't think anybody has to take a backseat."

There’s been so much talk about “possession maxing” the last few years.
Ever wonder if your team is taking advantage of this strategy that is spreading around? www.possessionbattle.com ranks the teams only on these possession stats despite their w-l record. It has preseason in there right now.
