Is Anthony Bennett the worst #1 overall pick in all four major sports?

• Upvotes

I think he’s without a doubt the worst pick in NBA history but I was thinking about all sports and I genuinely don’t think anyone was worse. He played four seasons, averaged 4.4 points per game and only played 151 games in that span. He didn’t even become serviceable. I know JaMarcus Russell was bad but I don’t think he was Bennett-level bad.

The Yaxel forced drama is the reason nobody takes NBA media seriously. And these people vote for End of season awards.

• Upvotes

The ridiculous low that NBA media has stoop its standard is appalling. After trying to cover up Clippers and Ballmer in the summer and failing ridiculously.....the NBA media has found new ways to lower their standard of journalism. Instigating a Rookie who got his feelings hurt and trying to farm content out of it is straight up reality tv/ pro wrestling type shit. There are analysts and its pain me to say that cause they are more of circus clowns who straight up lie on national TV masking their lies as insider information.

And then they have the audacity of complaining of why the viewership is down, when they are the one turning the Game into reality tv.

And to top it all they vote for end of season awards. They don't even analyze the games for voting and put more emphasis on narrative and vibes.

DALLAS -- Mavericks star forward Cooper Flagg had an MRI on Saturday morning that revealed a mild left shoulder sprain, the team announced.

Flagg has been ruled out of Saturday night's home opener against the San Antonio Spurs. He will be reevaluated next week.

The reigning Rookie of the Year, Flagg suffered the injury when he took a flagrant foul by Indiana Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith on a breakaway late in the second quarter of the Mavericks' road win Friday night. Flagg exited moments later and did not return to the game.

If every state was only allowed to have one nba team, which teams from your state are getting the boot and why?

• Upvotes

Was just thinking about the handful of states that have multiple basketball teams, and was just wondering which ones you'd give up if you had to make the choice.

How should Lebron James help Steph Curry?

• Upvotes

Lebron owes Steph for their rivalry sparking the next generation of the NBA and we already know they're best friends who have played together well and have a deep mutual respect for each other. They've hinted at wanting to be on the same team for a long time, but IMO until Lebron moved to the Sixers, it seemed both were adamant on getting the other to join their team and neither was willing to be the one to move and close the gap.

So my question is how should Lebron help Steph to keep their rivalry going? I'm sure Lebron wants Steph to continue being able to compete at the highest level but Steph can't do that with his lottery team. Their matchups are still some of the most watched games every year so if Lebron and Steph can't team up, how should Lebron help Steph to get on a contender? Maybe he can push for Steph to move to the Spurs or Miami Heat where Steph will at least have another superstar to partner with because right now he has absolutely no one. Jimmy Butler and Draymond don't count. Any ideas?
