Hitting the trails on a fresh built 92 Paramount PDG-50. Rode the same trails on a 92 Schwinn Moab back in 92-94 before I got a HT and FS to ride.
I typically run a '24 Chisel HT and FS out here. It was the 1st time on a rigid in 32 years. Bull bars kept me from getting bored... lol
Another 10 miles in the books. Had to re-tighten the headset, other than that it was a seamless ride. Felt great!!!

Went to a bike shop 2 hours away from me to get my Paradox v3 custom wheels trueing and dishing finalized as well as get the frame parts torqued down to spec (I don't have a 30nm+ wrench yet). And when I was there they had a Shimano Cues FC-U6000-1 30t 175mm for 65$ and a slightly used Wolf Tooth 32t 104BCD chainring for 20$. So I got the Cues crankset for my new bike and put the Corki crankset back on my old Kent Trouvaille but with the 32t chainring installed (it had a 38t before).
Overall I'll he returning to that bike shop in the future because they had pretty good prices. They even set up my wheels to tubeless since I did not have a high volume pump at home.

Brand new Tallboy 6. I’ve never had a carbon frame with glove box.
First ride I heard this very loud rattle coming from glove box area. Glove box was empty on the ride and is empty in the video.
Everything on the bike is tight I’ve checked headset calipers and front axle.
You can hear the rattle when dropping the bike down from 1” off ground or slamming it down from a height.
You can hear it when the glove box cover is on or off.
It’s not chain slap.
Anyone else familiar with a rattle like this?

This was used for enduro riding, but it’s just so heavy compared to the 2 DJ bikes we’ve been riding currently Besides lighter pedals and lighter tires (front has minion DHF), what are some mods I can make that won’t cost as much as half of another bike?

Panhandle Bike Ranch in Sagle, Idaho (outside of Sandpoint), invested $2.5M into a 170-acre, 10-trail bike park commissioned by Gravity Logic only to have its permit revoked 10 days before opening after neighbors sued.
The county has since blocked attempts to reopen it as a nonprofit park, and visitors are now reportedly being monitored by neighbors and investigated by the county prosecutor.

Should I cop this giant reign from 2021 for 1000€ ? It has shiguras ex511 rear wheel Shimano slx drivetrain fox float x performance and fox 38 performance elite. it clearly is used but for 1000€ I don't think I am getting a better deal. And yes i am changing that god awful seat and changing some things like the tune on that shock . do you think I should go for it?

I'm trying to decide between these two bikes for riding and racing at River Bluff Trails in St. Joseph, MO, including steep, rough, technical downhill sections. The Habit 3 is about $2,400, while the Trek is about $4,000.
The Trek has significantly better suspension and brakes, but is the performance difference worth the extra $1,600? Would the Habit 3 be enough, or would I regret not spending more on the Trek?
I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who's ridden either bike, especially on rough, technical trails!

I'm going to have a custom steel frame downhill bike made for 32" wheels front and rear for the 2027 bike park season. I think I'll be able to put a dropper post on this too so it'll be a 203mm super enduro I guess.
Any constructive input welcome. Is there anything I should change? The chainstays will need to be at least 480mm for clearance I think.
Some figures were just guesses. My current Commercial Supreme size L has a 480 reach and a stem with about 45mm of stack, 13mm reach and I want it to be longer.
I might change the reach to 505-515mm. Pic 3 is the same geo with a 29 rear wheel and a +1 angleset, pic 4 is the same geo but 27.5 rear wheel and a +2 angleset.
Easily my favorite geo calculator: https://www.bike-stats.de/en/geometrie_rechner

I've been looking on OLX listings for a while but I can't find anything good
All I want is a solid bike with an L size frame for 600 bam or less can be a dirt jumper too as long as it's enough to do tricks and stuff even if you're 182 to 184cm tall
Edit: my dumbass misspelled bike

Had to do a trail side repair after my shifter broke. Just needed a little tension on the cable to get in a reasonable gear and found a random plastic squirrel. To my surprise and delight - turning the squirrel gave me about 4 gears lol. Replaced the cables housing and brake lever, racing Folsom RodeoCross next week 🤠 iykyk. The Fat Tandem is hand made 👊🏻 (not by me).

Just picked up these two frames and a few parts for free:
Orange 2000 Gary Fisher Mamba
Black 2007/8 Marin Bobcat Trail
The Fisher seems like the cooler more retro build, but the Marin seems more practical (discs and weight)
Which would you build out for a cheap runaround with free parts?
Also as the fisher is steel, can a rear disc mount be easily added? (I know someone who can weld steel but not aluminium)

Hey Guys,
I am looking to get your feedback on my current situation in regards of what I am considering. Reason why I am writing this post is because most of the people I am riding with are super subjective and toxic, so things like what I am considering to purchase I keep to myself.... anyways to the point:
The current situation:
This year has been my first one which I rode in a bike park and I loved it. I sold my trail bike (Specialized Stumpy) and now I am looking for a longer travel E-bike - 180/170 front and 170 rear at least, mullet setup and to be able to take off the battery. My budget is up to 5k EUR in the European market. I have a hot offer on a Specialized Levo Evo Comp, the carbon and the sram 1000 e transmition, at 50km on it. I am buying it from a bicycle/sports marketplace, which has buyer protection etc. The bike comes right under my budgeted amount.
My question is, should I wait for Black Friday in November, December, January, Fabruary or whatever the discount months are and wait for newer technology to come out. Or should I pull the trigger on this one as it's the same sizing like my old bike and I am familiar with the platform.
I would really appreciate your honest feedback and experience.

I'm looking for a 20 inch bike for my kiddo she currently rides a 16 inch and shes out grown it. She hates the coaster brake and is causing issues for her.
So we are looking for a HT or full suspension that has disk or rim brakes on it plus gears. We are 100% looking used new isn't even an option.
