Question Thoughts on Lee Kuan Yew?

If there is one example of a person that may have had effective monarchical power without the ceremonial trappings and dress. It's him. How do you regard him? Was he King effectively speaking?

Personally I admire him for his capabilities and how he led Singapore to become what it is now.

News Update: the Global Monarchist Platform is taking shape, and it will be free

Hi all,
A while ago I posted about building one central place for monarchists around the world. I've made real progress since then, and I want to show you where it's going.

It will be free.

How it works
Instead of a normal website menu, the main page is a hall in the style of an ancient Greek temple. Each section is a place in that hall. You point at it, click, and the camera takes you there. If you prefer a plain menu, there is one.

The rooms
The Great Map (Directory). A world map with every country's borders and flag. Click a country to see the monarchist organisations based there, with their official website and social accounts. I'm starting with real, established societies from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Brazil. I took their links straight from each society's own website. Any organisation can apply to be listed. (would need your help on here)

The Forum. Discussion halls by region (Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, Oceania) and by topic. (still deciding if by region or by topic)

The Senate (Debates). Structured debates between schools of thought, such as constitutional vs. executive monarchy. i see this as sharpening our self to be capable and able to expand monarchist ideals to new people, like a training ground for individuals.

The Library. Primary sources of monarchist thought, such as Filmer, Bodin, de Maistre and Bagehot, with translations by members. i was thinking of free files but have to see the legal stuff

The Workshop (Collaboration). Joint projects between societies and members: translations, events, volunteering. a place were we can work together globally to push the crowns.

The Astrolabe (Political Compass). A questionnaire that places you among the schools of monarchist thought. It covers power, faith and succession, similar to 12axes but only monarchist themed

If you run or belong to a monarchist organisation, would you want it on the map?
For the compass: which questions really separate monarchists from each other?
the work is through Claude, i wanted to provide some pictures but couldn’t, still the design is very basic.
Feedback is very welcome, harsh included.

Long live the Crowns.

HM The King hosted a state banquet held in honor of the Sultan of Oman's visit to the United Kingdom. The King was joined by HM The Queen, TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales, HRH The Princess Royaland Sir Timothy Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

On a more personal note, I cannot help but highlight the elegance and my admiration for the Princess of Wales, who definitely took this ceremony to the next level—I believe we will all agree.

The King's speech, delivered to 160 guests in English with some quotes in Arabic, expressed his approval that his son Prince William had worked on an expedition project alongside the Sultan's son: "There can be few happier symbols of success than a living relationship being passed from one generation to the next," said the King.

MENU:

There was wine available at the banquet, but with Muslim guests of honour, the traditional banquet cocktail was replaced by a non-alcoholic spiced coffee drink.

-The state banquet, served in St George's Hall, offered guests:

-Croute of Scottish langoustine and Cornish crab with avocado, tomato consommé, and celery

-Pot roasted Windsor pheasant with spiced quince

-Stuffed cabbage and braised fondant potatoes in a Dijon mustard sauce

-Selection of assorted seasonal vegetables
Individual baked Alaska with Balmoral plum and Windsor estate honey ice cream

The Sultan of Oman has arrived at Windsor Castle, where he was welcomed by TM The King and Queen, and TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales. The state visit takes place from October 20 to 22, with a State Banquet being held this evening at Windsor Castle. The Sultan joined Their Majesties in a carriage procession through the town of Windsor before an inspection of the Guard of Honour at the castle, the Palace stated. This visit carries historical importance, as the last state visit by an Omani Sultan to the UK was in March 1982, when Queen Elizabeth II hosted the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

Question Universal head of state/ Roman emperor

Post image
111 Upvotes

It occurs to me that a head of state can often just be a symbolic representative of a group. As monarchists what’s to stop us all from affirming one emperor? Where all the other heads of state the Reguli still have their regional jurisdiction and powers, but ultimately we are represented in a ceremonial way by 1 Emperor.

Not determined by borders but rather by who he is. Much like how the holy Roman emperor was the monarch of a great many functionally sovereign princes and was owed nominal deference by the other kings.

Personally the best candidate for this would be HIRH Archduke Karl Von Habsburg. But I’m curious, who do other monarchists out there think would be a better universal head of state?

His Excellency the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tô Lâm, and his spouse, Mrs. Ngô Phương Ly, have arrived in Denmark. Following a reception at Copenhagen Airport, a wreath-laying ceremony at Kastellet, and a carriage ride to Amalienborg, the President received a unique gesture from the King at Christian VII's Palace – he was appointed a Knight of the Order of the Elephant, even though a traditional exchange of decorations is not taking place during this visit, according to the palace.

Their Majesties the King and Queen hosted a gala dinner in honor of the presidential pair. Also present at the table were His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, along with the Government, the Vietnamese delegation, the Presidium of the Folketing (the Danish Parliament), and representatives of official Denmark.
During the banquet, the King and the President delivered speeches. Among other things, the King stated:
"It is a great pleasure for Her Majesty Queen Mary and me to welcome the presidential couple here to Denmark. We have looked forward to your visit and to the opportunity to reciprocate the warmth we experienced when we visited Vietnam."

The palace said that “During the visit, the presidential couple will also visit the Folketing (Parliament), THE LIBRARY on Rentemestervej, the Niels Bohr Institute, and the Court Theatre (Hofteatret).”

For me, it's the Steel Crown of Romania. It was forged from the steel of a cannon captured from the Turks, thus embodying in its very core the idependence of Romania.

Politics Vive le Roi, vive la France!

Post image

In this time when we witness yet another incompetence of the republic as a system and leadership in France, let us remember the glorious, Catholic, royal France, the eldest daughter of the Catholic Church. Let us remember the Bourbon dynasty and its kings, let us remember Joan of Arc, Louis IX, Charlemagne, and the martyrs of the revolution, Louis XVI and his family. In this time, a monarchy has never been more necessary for France.

La France se relèvera un jour avec l'aide de Dieu, vive le roi, vive la monarchie, vive la France !
