Discussion Minecraft needs "snowlogging."
I recently came across this idea on the Minecraft Feedback website. (For Java)
With the winter-themed drops currently underway, this would be a perfect opportunity to spend the Christmas season in a beautiful, updated snowy biome.
Here’s the link, in case you don’t want to search for it yourself :)

Discussion I came up with an idea on how to fix the happy ghast problem
I got the idea after looking at the Nautilus, which is pretty much perfect for building underwater.
the idea is to have happy ghasts reworked as follows:
Ghastling: stays the same cute balloon.
Adolescent Ghast: a new ghast growth stage, which can be locked with a golden dendalion, its size will be 1 X 1 X 1 and could be ridden by only one player at a time, you cant stand on it. the ghast should have the same movement speed as a player walking and it will be perfect for building! pretty much like in creative.
Adult Ghast: same as the current one but movement speed increased to player's running speed.
it would be perfect for far group travels and item transports, the function of building in the sky will be now done with the adolescent so adding speed shouldn't be a problem.
what do you guys think?

Discussion Is this a joke? Do I have to walk 3,000 blocks just to get there? 💀
For almost an hour, I couldn’t find a turtle anywhere near me, so I decided to go to the area around the old spawn and then head north because I noticed some beaches there that were perfect for turtles to spawn... but I had no idea it would look like this. 💀
I already have a turtle farm set up, so I think I’ll just give up on this and spawn them in the farm instead.
Even if I took it there by boat, I’d still have to go through a forest. 💀

Suggestion This should be possible
making XP bottles from sculk blocks would be cool if it were balanced well, but i think going through brewing stand might be expensive for glass what do you think?

Mods & Addons I build a mod that makes chat readable
helo,
My name is Yotcha. Probably one of you might find Minecraft chat is hard to read and catch up. So here am I. I built a mod called EasyChat, a mod that turns Minecraft chat system into a messaging app lookalike. Taking inspiration from iMessage and WhatsApp chat bubbles. The development of this mod is already 2 months old, and I'm still finishing and polishing the mod to work both single player and multiplayer(server)
I would like a suggestion from the community, to bring the mod into life. The mod is still in development and I'm not thinking of releasing it yet.
Here's some screenshots from the mod.

Help Java When did minecraft get so beautiful????
I don't really keep up with minecraft updates anymore, but I can't find anything on updated java visuals at all online. Screenshots from version 26.2 and 1.21.1. Both are modded but have no visual enhancing mods. I checked the textures and they are identical. Why is the wool (among other things, ig) so vibrant and gorgeous now? Apparently vibrant visuals is not a thing in java yet. What happened between 1.21.1 and 26.2? Vulkan?? Is it possible to backport this into versions with mods i like?? I don't think I can stand looking at the dull versions anymore

Seeds & World Gen Found cool biome generation
Was flying around on bedrock to find a good biome to build smth in. Then I randomly come across this. Cherry Grove on a mountain completely surrounded by the new biome (I forgot the name). If you looo at it from a certain angle it kinda looks like a wonky heart. There's also a little patch of snow that surrounds a cave entrance. Under this is a HUGE dripstone cave

Discussion We got our friend some cake for his birthday :)
We got around 1.5k cakes palced in his base. I alone traded 10k Iron to get emeralds and buy cake with it. My friends maybe have a little less Emeralds traded but they also purchased way to many cakes. So yeah, the iron farm was empty for once (we used weaponsmiths for iron trade), even though we didn't expect it to happen.
Do you guys have any ideas on how to remove all that cake fast?
What are you guys doing at the birthday of your mc friends? Any similar stories?

Discussion Opinions about blocksets
Even though I want all stones in the game to have all the variants, I quite like the uniqueness and limitation of it. Like you could only get tiles from Deepslate or pillars from Purpur or Quartz or Prismarine having a dark variant. I think it adds variety by making us choose other options otherwise. (Even Bamboo having a mosaic variant unlike other woodsets). That's why I'm not disappointed when they didn’t add slabs and stairs to terracotta (not speaking for other players but me) when I could just use other optional blocks.
Yet it still doesn't makes sense to me why Diorite, Granite, and Andesite doesn’t have brick or even chiseled variants. They don't even have polished walls. When gameplay-wise, they're the most "stonier" in some of the stones.
(Since Ice bricks were added, maybe Calcite blockset next snapshot?)

Discussion Genuinely what was the thought process behind this title screen
Why is the skin so big, why is the Minecraft logo just gone, why are the settings and marketplace buttons so small but the dressing room button so big, who approved this
