How to Live on a Minimal Student Budget in Milan?
Hi everyone,
I'm moving to Milan in a week for my studies and will be based around Bicocca. I want to keep my expenses to a minimum, so recommendations don't need to be limited to the city center; outer districts, North Milan, or nearby suburbs are very welcome.
Could you share:
* Food & Groceries: Cheap eats under €10 and the most budget-friendly supermarkets
* Shopping: Inexpensive clothing, home essentials, toiletries, and safe flea/vintage markets
* Student Perks & Apps: Useful discounts (especially for DSU scholarship holders) and money-saving apps beyond TheFork and Too Good To Go
Any local tips to keep living costs low would be appreciated. Thanks!
