Copilot Notebook Can't Read All References
Hi everyone, I was using Copilot Notebook today, and out of 50 references (Copilot Chat Basic at work), Copilot couldn't read specific docs properly. I would say it could only read 5-7 docs, and not the rest. For example, I wanted to summarize 50 policies related to my role, but Copilot only covered a few of them instead of all the reference documents. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

Copilot Code?
Hi there, I work for an org where we use MS Copilot and I do have a premium license.
However I'm seeing a blog post here where they're adding in a Code feature:
However, I don't have access to this. Just wanted confirmation from others, is this only available through Frontier/preview?

Databricks and azure devops
Hi all,
How is it possible to setup a connection/connector for Azure databricks and Azure devops for Agent builder agents? Right now the connector slider is greyed out when we are trying to configure an agent.
We Only want to open these connections for some people and not all people in our org.
Is it from admin center -> copilot -> connectors -> staged deployment -> choose Azure databricks -> sign in to the applikation?

How would you build an Excel-to-Word automation with Microsoft 365 Copilot?
I have Microsoft 365 Copilot/Premium but no Copilot Studio.
I want to turn an existing Excel-based calculation + word document workflow into a small standalone application.
I don’t want AI in the finished app. The calculations should be deterministic. I only want to use Copilot to build the software.
The actual task isn’t very exotic: enter a few job-specific values, calculate a price based on fixed rules and stored parameters, and then automatically populate an existing Word quotation template with the relevant customer, project and pricing data.
I’m not a professional developer, so I’m curious how others would approach this with the Microsoft tools currently available.

GPT models thinking mode not even thinking?
Anyone see it's thinking times as 1 second or at most 7 seconds, where it looks like this model is either on low or no thinking at all? I'm questioning the output quality at this level.

Copilot and firefox
Does anyone know if there is a bug with CoPilot and firefox? We used it at work with a license. You'll be chatting away to it and then moving to another tab to do its suggestions, go back, it does a refresh and wipes the last chat string you had with CoPilot. It seems to be aware its lost this when you ask it, it knows it was said.
Even if you tab to another app like Word etc, when you go back, firefox refreshes the tab and wipes the last chat.

Model Selector Difference?
I understand 'Auto' picks the best type of model for the prompt but what's the difference between 'Thinks Deeper' and 'GPT x.x Thinks Deeper'? Aren't they the same? Does the non-GPT versioned option run an older (more stable?) GPT model number? Does the standard 'Thinks Deeper' selection only make a difference in a multi-model enabled environment (GPT + Anthropic)?

Can't even answer questions about their own products
For context, I have a Microsofft 365 Premium subscription
I asked Copilot a question, and asked that exact same question in my web browser search bar.
"I updated an excel workbook, uploaded new version to sharepoint, deleted old one, and renamed new one with the same name as previous one. Now when people on mac open the workbook from SharePoint to mac desktop application, it's opening the old file I deleted"
Copilot proceeds to lead me on a wild good chase for 30 minutes telling me to go to multiple folder paths and to delete multiple different things. None of the steps it provided resolves the Excel issue.
- Told me to go to "~/Library/Containers/com.microsofft.Excel/Data/Library/Caches/" and delete it's contents
- Then go to ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/OfficeFileCache/ and delete it if the folder exist
Google's overview provided the correct answer with exact file path on it's very first try.
- Directed me to ~/Library/Containers/com.microsofft.Excel/Data/Library/Application Support/Microsofft/AppData/Microsofft/Office/16.0/OfficeFileCache/0/0
At this point I don't even understand why I am paying for a Microsofft subscription anymore.

What's going on with Copilot?
Just returned from holiday in a corporate environment with a Copilot Premium licence, and now I find that under Work IQ and Copilot Chat, you can't choose the model. You've only got Think Deeper and Quick Response. However, if you go into different apps like Outlook or Teams, you still have the work or the web, and you can choose your model. I've got GPT-6.5.6 and also 6.1.
What are they doing? Are they trying to hide things so that people don't know what the actual model is that you use anymore, so they can probably switch out for cheaper models?

Does anyone else not have GPT 6 (and only 5.6) in copilot chat?
This announcement 3 weeks ago suggests GPT 6 should be available: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft-copilot-blog/available-today-openais-gpt-6-1-sol-and-claude-sonnet-5-5-in-microsoft-copilot/4560801

Why are certain outputs different?
I've been finding if I give a task directly to Claude, it smashes it, but if I give it to Copilot (which knows a lot more about me, having access to all my emails, documents, Teams chats and history), even if it's set to exactly the same LLM (in this case Opus 5.5, Medium), it usually does a lot worse. What am I doing wrong?

Which agent readiness tool has actually been worth paying for?
I've been researching agent readiness tools recently for my organisation and have narrowed my options down to Ora and Cloudflare's Is It Agent Ready.
Technically both seem to offer useful features, but it's hard to tell how which one is good. For anyone who's used one or both: Can you suggest which one to choose based on improvement on visibility and accuracy. I'd really appreciate hearing from people with hands-on experience before I commit to a subscription.

M365 Copilot Premium, new chat usage limits?
I've been using M365 Copilot Premium (~€30/month/user on top of an Office 365 org license) since day one. In that time I had never hit a usage limit. Some days I'd work for hours on translating very long documents, debugging applications, and fixing script compatibility, and I never came close.
This week I hit the daily limit on a fairly average day: a few translations and two fairly in-depth analyses of Python scripts. I even hit the weekly limit during a single 45-minute session setting up a new notebook. Until last week, it felt like working with an agent with nearly unlimited capacity. Now the limits seem to have been cut far too drastically.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or did I somehow get extremely unlucky this week?
It's genuinely frustrating not being able to see in the app what my limits are or how much I've used, something every other app does. A lot of tokens also are wasted because of Copilot's buggy UI. At this point I'm wondering what's the point of paying €30/month/user.

GPT model selector still missing for me
I've seen several posts saying that the GPT model selector disappeared for a lot of people a few days ago and eventually came back, but mine is still missing.
I can see the Claude and GPT options normally in apps like Word and Excel, but there's no model selector at all in Copilot Chat.
I have Microsoft 365 Premium (individual).
Anyone else still having this issue?

I put together a free Microsoft Learn path to go from "what is AI?" to building your first agent
I'm a third-year IT student and I kept seeing people ask where to start with AI without paying for a course. Microsoft Learn has a ton of free material, but it's scattered, so I organized the best parts into one plan in a sensible order:
Prompting with Copilot
Core AI and ML concepts
Responsible AI
Azure AI services (vision, speech, language)
Building a gen-AI chat app
Building agents in Copilot Studio
Prep for the AI-901 certification
It's free and self-paced, and you get a Learn badge when you finish. Roughly 4 weeks at a relaxed pace.
I'm part of the Microsoft Learn student community, so I'm biased. If anything feels too hard, too easy, or out of order, tell me and I'll fix it. Feedback is the main reason I'm posting.
