Pozdrav, Živim ovdje već duže vrijeme a čini mi se da imamo slične interese. Priroda je prekrasna, pogotovo planine i vodopadi. Najbolje je tako sam uzet auto i vozit se okolo, gdje vam je lijepo stanite i istražite pa tako dalje. Pogotovo je lijepa cesta od Chamarela do Baie du capa. Ispričavam se na podugom postu, ima previše toga!

Plaže su svuda lijepe ali bude gužva na popularnima, pogotovo vikendom. Vidim netko je spomenuo La Cambuse, svakako vrijedi otići, možete i plivati samo oprezno zbog valova i struja. Jako lijepo mjesto za šetnju s desne strane od plaže.

Ako se hoćete maknuti od gužve a ostati na sjeveru, postoji velika skrivena plaža s lijeve strane od javne Pereybere plaže - nastavite šetati uz kuće i hotel uz more dok ne dođete do velike plaže. Sav prostor uz more do plimne crte je javan, slobodno šetajte i istražite otok.

Vodopada i planina ima puno, neki lakše dostupni Rochester falls, Minissy falls - na ovima znaju biti gužve vikendom pa bolje preko tjedna ići, Le pouce (jako lijepo a ne preteško), Deux Mammeles, Le Morne (isto tako). Sept cascades i 500 pied su prekrasni i manje posjećeni ali dosta zahtjevniji, kao i Lion Mountain, La Tourelle i druge planine. Ako idete na tekking svakako si skinite GPX pa pratite kartu. Meni je od ovoga vjerojatno najljepše vodopad 500 pied i Le Pouce.

Za ronjenje sam bila na Pointe d'esny i prekrasno je - pristup plaži je uzak između kuća (označeno na Google maps) a auto pustite uz cestu. Odmah na toj lokaciji možete roniti.

Lokalna hrana je zanimljiv mix svega - probajte roti, gato pima, juhu od rakova, fried i boiled noodles, biryani... Bus snack, Dan bol, Escale Creole (s rezervacijom), La casse croute.

Ako ste ovdje za Diwali (8.11.), provozajte se okolo kad padne mrak - bit će puno okićenih kuća.

Čuvajte se sunca, nije to isto sunce kao kod nas. I uzmite dobar sprej za komarce, pogotovo uz svježu vodu.

I dont know if you will still read this, but yess you can get the refund at the airport! There is a customs counter just before MCB counter. So before you check in go to the customs counter with your airpod + in the box and your vat refund paper that the shop will give you. Have it stamped by customs and once you are inside you go to the mcci counter and take your VAT payable (minus a fee)
