Discussion Sorry, was this intentional?
I've noticed that in the more recent MCU movies, most heroes defeat the antagonists with some kind of line that makes them change sides!
I don't know if it's intentional or if it's because some of them aren't really villains in the first place.

Discussion After more than 10 years it might be easy to forget how cool casting Paul Bettany as Vision was
While a lot of AoU's deviations from the comics are divisive, using JARVIS as a component of Vision and giving the role to Paul Bettany made the concept of the shared cinematic universe potentially even more rewarding, like the smallest things could turn out to become huge. And it just so happened to be perfect casting. Something that no one could see coming, but turned out to be great. Truly inspired, and still one of my favorite creative choices in the MCU.
And it's gotta blow Bettany's mind that doing a little voiceover for like an hour snowballed into a high profile role that's been going for more than 10 years, and for which he got his first Emmy nomination.

Question Okay, plot armor aside, who is LOGICALLY going to win this big clash?
Doom is obviously winning in Doomsday due to plot armor and the highest possible levels of nerfing GoS Loki, but powerscaling-wise, who wins?

Discussion Is this a mistake?
So I just watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness for like the 100th time and I noticed something and wondered if this is a mistake. I can't seem to find anyone pointing it out. After the scene with Scarlet Witch and her kids during the fight with America Chavez, she destroys the Darkhold and America Chavez opens a portal back to the Sanctum. Then they cut to the scene where America opens a portal for Strange and Christine, but in that scene America and Wong are still on Mount Wundagore.. didn't they just travel back to the Sanctum?

Discussion Reviewers as well as Terry Matalas and Ruaridh Mollica are really hyping up the finale of VisionQuest, what do you guys think they have in store for us?
I've been trying to decode what the hell they all mean. I mean, it's obvious at this point that we'll have a Billy, Tommy and Vision reunion, but is that enough to cause such a reaction to all these reviewers and for Terry to say that one scene in the finale is "a Marvel dream that he got do"?
I want to hear all your theories about where the series is heading and what might be causing all these impressions?

Promotional Marvel Studios on X: "It all started with the source code" - Could they be teasing the Human Torch as the original source code for all of Tony's AIs?
Especially since in Episode 2, Vision said he was "the first of us" and in the latest promo, it's shown that Paul plays the Human Torch as well, which could mean Vision's body was based on him like in the comics
All I know is that they're definitely having a Human Torch flashback episode fully set in 1939 akin to Wonder Man's Doorman episode.

Other Just noticed that Sarah Halley Finn (Marvel's casting director) has no involvement in the casting of VisionQuest
A lot of people more recently this year have been pointing out how Sarah Halley Finn usually gets the casting down (to the point where I'm surprised many people know her name lol) but it seems like this time, in a rare case, she's not part of the casting involvement of VisionQuest. I find that strange and wanted to share.
The only credit she does have is "Original Casting" which I can only assume means the likes of Paul Bettany as Vision, James D'Arcy, and James Spader.

This is absolutely gorgeous, stunning, and marvellous. I love how each one shows each villain/antagonis from movie to movie over a saga of 3 phases and movies within 11 years, and I think this would be amazing to have as a poster in bed ro living rooms. Its utterly beautiful too.

Discussion Trask Industries should acquire Stark Industries and use the Iron Man tech as the basis for the Sentinels in the MCU
With how the MCU loves connecting things back to older things (especially things related to Iron Man), I believe that connecting the Sentinels to Iron Man makes the most sense.
Even in the comics I always thought that Iron Man and the Sentinels looked and felt similar. Now the MCU has the opportunity to make that connection real.
The legacy of one of Earth’s mightiest heroes being tarnished via heinous people taking his greatest creation(s) and using it as a basis for anti-mutant machines that eventually lead to the downfall of both mutantkind and humankind would be a really interesting way to both wrap up “Stark Industries” in the MCU and lead it into the Mutant saga.

Discussion VisionQuest Episodes 1 & 2 were an absolute blast!
My god, this was GOOD!
I just watched the first two episodes of VisionQuest, and I'm genuinely impressed with what they've done so far. The cinematography and the entire visual presentation were spectacular. There's something about the way the show handles its visuals, particularly Vision's mindspace, that immediately drew me in.
I went into this completely blind. No trailers, no promotional clips, no plot details. The only thing I'd seen was that first teaser image featuring the mindspace, and in hindsight, I love how well it established the show's visual tone. Experiencing everything else without any expectations or prior knowledge made it so much better.
What I particularly loved was how they handled Vision's identity crisis. This isn't simply the original Vision coming back to life. This is White Vision, carrying the memories of someone who loved Wanda, experienced grief, and built a life with her, while struggling to understand what those memories actually mean to him. He remembers a love he cannot fully recreate, and there's something genuinely heartbreaking about that.
Having the memories of a person doesn't necessarily mean you are that person. And watching Vision struggle with that distinction is easily one of my favourite aspects of these first two episodes. I'm really interested to see how they explore this further.
And then there's ULTRON. MY GOD. 😭
This man is an absolute professional rage baiter. Every time he's on screen, I find myself completely invested in whatever he's about to say. The dialogue between him and Vision is fantastic, especially when they start challenging each other's understanding of humanity, identity, and what it means to be alive. James Spader is absolutely killing it. There's something so entertaining about Ultron's personality and the way he gets under Vision's skin while occasionally making genuinely compelling points.
I also really loved Vision's family. J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., and E.D.I.T.H. bring so much personality to the mindspace, and I wasn't expecting to get attached to them this quickly. I love how the show gives these personalities their own quirks and perspectives while making them feel like more than just programs assisting Vision.
There's a fascinating contrast here, too. Vision is trying to understand his own humanity, while the family companions surrounding him seem to possess their own distinct personalities and emotional needs. It adds another interesting layer to the show's exploration of identity and consciousness.
And the mindspace itself? Absolutely gorgeous. I love the visual language of this show, and I'm really glad the series seems committed to establishing its own identity rather than simply trying to recreate the look and feel of WandaVision.
And I absolutely have to talk about TOMMY because Ruaridh Mollica was phenomenal! I genuinely wasn't expecting to be this invested in him so quickly. What I loved was how he portrayed Tommy's conflicting identities without making it feel overly dramatic or forced. There's this charming, cheeky, street-smart side to him, but underneath that is someone who's genuinely struggling to understand who he is and where he belongs. He's dealing with memories of a family and a life that feel real to him, even though they don't fit the life he's actually lived.
What's especially interesting is how his struggle parallels Vision's. Vision has the memories of a man he can no longer fully identify with, while Tommy is trying to reconcile the life he remembers with the person he's become. They're essentially two people trying to figure out where their identities end and the memories they've inherited begin.
And Mollica sells that conflict beautifully. He brings so much personality and vulnerability to Tommy that I was immediately drawn to him whenever he was on screen. I'm really excited to see more of his character and his dynamic with Vision going forward.
Overall, these first two episodes were a fantastic start. The character work, cinematography, philosophical questions, Ultron's absolutely unhinged personality, and Vision's internal struggle have me completely hooked.
I'm especially excited to see where they take Vision's journey from here. After everything that happened in WandaVision and Agatha All Along, this feels like a really interesting direction for the final chapter of this trilogy.
Two episodes in, and I'm already invested. Can't wait for the remaining episodes!

Discussion Once the Fantastic Four join Earth-616 permanently, do you think we'll see them influence society like they did back on their own Earth?
I'm just curious because, in order for a Marvel universe to work, it kinda has to resemble our real world. Characters like Daredevil and Punisher don't really have a purpose if society is cleaned up and the world becomes a utopia. Those stories thrive off the dirty criminal underworld, but 'First Steps' established that the Fantastic Four can easily clear up any problems they want very quickly. I mean, there's literally a scene where Reed "baby-proofs" the world by going after all the criminal gangs lol.
