Hi! i was doing some digging on Fairground Ride Airbrush Art! specifically on Paul Wrights (RIP) work. he was a pioneer in the fairground art era which we are sadly losing due to generative Al so i feel as if it's important now more than ever to be able to archive all we can of this era that will soon be lost to time!

i found this link to an old CD of his early work with 300 photos on it! and i can't seem to find a rip of it online anywhere or any photographs from said CD. it would be really neat if we could find it and be able to preserve his memory for the long term !:)

if anybody has any information or leads it would mean the world !

So over a year ago, I posted something related to the 1974 ABC specials cartoon called "The Magical Mystery Trip Through Little Red's Head" and someone pointed out a similar woman named Sally from a 1992 cartoon called “Farmer’s Boy,” and I tried to find information, and I found nothing about it.

The commenter in that post, Bashboy07, replied with “Yo is that Sally from that 1992 cartoon Farmer's Boy, that aired on WSTO TV in Stoughton Wisconsin? That's like super old media, basically lost media at this point. Sally was like a teacher character to the main one, which was a little boy named Thomas Greenstalk. The show was like a agriculture show, where Thomas wants to farm but he lives in the city and doesn't know how, so every episode Sally would teach him about different crops, and it would show real taped footage of the farming process, then the episode would end on Thomas returning home from school.” He also recalls Sally’s catchphrase being "A day in the sun, is a day full of fun.”

Has anyone else remembered this show, or was it just him? Is it even real? I mean, there can be plenty of Little Red lookalikes around somewhere.

Foul-Mouthed Phone (Marked as partially lost, since the article is archived)

I saw this news segment when it aired on local news channel WSVN 7 in Broward County, Florida. It was the segment on a segment called Help Me Howard. According to that article, it is from December 3rd, 2008. I remember it very vividly, because what transpired was absolutely hilarious.

A mother, Miya, was angry because a talking toy phone that her daughter, Makyla, owned wasn't what she expected. Makyla had gotten the phone the previous Christmas, although she didn't play with it immediately. She set it aside for a while and played with some of her other gifts first.

Some time later, something quite unusual happened: Makyla started using a certain no-no word. Miya, having overheard her one day, grabbed Makyla and yelled at her. "Where did you learn that word?!"

Makyla, upset, explained that she'd learned it from the toy phone, which she had recently started playing with. "This one [the toy phone] says it!"

A video of the toy phone being used is then shown. A hand runs over the numbers, pressing each one. The phone speaks the numbers out as they are pressed. Predictably, the phone says, "One!" "Zero!" "Three!" and so on.

That is, until they reached the number six. When the hand pressed it, in very clear English, the phone very unmistakably goes:

"BITCH!!!"

I was in a group with about 9 other people while watching this, and every last person in the group got a really great laugh, myself included, right then and there.

The news segment continues on. Miya asks whether this is someone's idea of a joke, and whether a toy like this is even legal. Howard Finkelstein, the presenter, explains that it's not illegal, but a breach of contract.

The video was on the website back in the day. I'm hoping it's hidden somewhere in the code. I'd love to see it again, just for the sheer hilarity and ridiculousness of the whole thing. I'm sure a lot of other people would get a good laugh from it.

In March 2007 a group of people including Justin Kan launched "justin.tv". Originally its purpose was just to do a truman show ass 24/7 "lifecast" of Justin Kan but it quickly expanded into having multiple channels and eventually became twitch.tv.

Just like current-day twitch.tv, justin.tv did a terrible job preserving past broadcasts. I am unsure exactly how it worked, but it seems like you couldn't save any vods until ~2010. There seem to be clips/highlights?

To make it even worse, they blocked justin.tv from being archived on the Wayback Machine. archive.today and multiple archives of the home-page on "arquivo-pt" still work. Only goes back to 2008.

Years later in 2014 they shut-down justin.tv and completely pivoted to focus on twitch.tv, their "gaming" branch. Accounts could choose to migrate to twitch.

Nowadays, old clips are somehow still up if you look up the channels on twitch. UNFORTUNATELY, most of the clips just don't play (especially on justins twitch!!). I tried downloading them through TwitchDownloader but it doesn't play.

I am looking for a cancelled Polish TV series project set during World War II, which I believe was titled "Oddboys." I saw a trailer for it that featured the song "Short Change Hero" by The Heavy. The trailer included scenes of Polish soldiers in Africa setting up a target and showing it to German soldiers in an opposing trench, who then shoot at the target just to pass the time. I recall seeing the trailer on YouTube around 2015-2020.

One more detail i remember was the part of the song, where it goes „…why You lie? And You cheat? And You try to make fool of she?…” during which there was a close up shot of a woman’s face.

I had an old YouTube account where i contracted the studio about potemtial release date, because i was so hyped up, but after some time they replayed that the project is being cancelled due to lack of sponsors. Unfortunately i lost that account long time ago.

I'm usually pretty good at finding things, but my buddies have been looking for HomeBros by Kevan Lang and it seems to be completely scrubbed from the internet. I've never heard the song before, but to my understanding it was taken down by the artist. Anyone have any leads? There is also a song called organic thug apparently that I'm also unable to find. the only lyrics I know of are "you can bet your nuts that I am wearing the cologne of a thousand sluts". I've searched what I know how to...but it appears to be scrubbed :(

Hello I’ve fully translated this PS VITA game, it is the definitive version of a previous PSP release. Although it‘s still missing downloadable content labeled “duradora” episodes. ive checked all relevant archives and the Japanese internet. Doesn’t seem to exist anywhere, this game alone i had to find in a most obscure torrent. Would like to see this game be content complete, if you’re able to find them. I can translate them and insert them into both alley V here and the inferior PSP version. I will link my translation post also for details on the game. Thank you

Please, please for the love of god, I hope that someone reading this post downloaded a copy of this now-deleted YouTube video.

Stinger o Wanjiro is a 28 year old 2D animator and illustrator from Sweden that has been posting content since 2016-2017. You may know them from their most famous video, "Why is he selling merch for a demo..." (2018), a crudely-drawn hilarious shitpost / parody animation made shortly after Deltarune Chapter 1 was released.

Their YouTube channel and Newgrounds content is, by far, the most bizarre... nostalgic... baffling... incomprehensible... charming mix of 2000s flash animation and niche internet references that I have ever seen. There is nothing on the internet quite like their art. This leads me to the lost media in question, "the rigamarole collab". In my opinion, the best video that Stinger o Wanjiro has ever uploaded, their magnum opus, and one of my favorite YouTube animations literally ever.

I have all of the exact information about this video (the URL, the description, the view count, upload date, even a 29 second clip animated by one of the artists the collab was made with, FroginatorArt, and other short snips) ...except the full video itself. I think the reason why Stinger deleted this video was because they were concerned about YouTube's new policy feeding videos into training their AI system, though most of their other animations are still on their profile.

As of right now, there are a few clips taken from the video circulating online:

- "Picasso's Dilemma" by FroginatorArt

- An edit of "Do You See It In Babette?"

- That edit also includes the scene of that weird dude slamming into a wall and melting, which is part of the full collab

- "Video unavailable" page (YouTube URL)

- Archive of Stinger's videos

I'll post a comment summarizing the entire video in exact detail. THAT'S how many times I've seen it.

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to find an old Naruto MUGEN fangame called Naruto Shippuden: The New Era v2.0, released around August 2012.

I've been searching for a working download, but so far I've only found dead links and old forum posts.

What we know about the game:

• Title: Naruto Shippuden: The New Era v2.0
• Release date: August 27, 2012 (forum publication)
• Engine: M.U.G.E.N
• Roster: Approximately 130 characters
• Graphics: 2D pixel sprites, including multiple Naruto transformations
• Original distribution: Six archive parts hosted on Uploaded.net

Original forum thread (still available):
https://mugenworks.ucoz.com/forum/8-2372-1

Other possible lead:
https://www.jeuxmangas.com/jeux-mugen/4995-naruto-shippuden-the-new-era-2012-mugen

The second website once listed a 706.7 MiB archive, but its download link is no longer working. I haven't been able to confirm whether it was exactly v2.0.

What I'm looking for:

A complete, working copy of the original 2012 version, preferably v2.0 with 130 characters.

I'm specifically interested in preserving the original release, not a modern remake or an unrelated Naruto MUGEN compilation.

If anyone still has the game on an old PC, hard drive, DVD, or backup folder, please let me know!

Even screenshots, original archive filenames, mirrors, or information about the creator would help.

I would love to see this obscure piece of Naruto MUGEN history preserved before it disappears completely.

Thanks for any help!

[Warning: official distasteful "joke" about race]

There is a character in the Wreck it Ralph movie called King Candy, and in only one of the showings it is said by King Candy's VA

{Alan Tudyk} that in the scene where Ralph is going on a rampage of the candy kingdom, it is in this scene where King Candy announces to evreyone to calm down because, and I quote

"I don't want a race riot on my hands!"

The deleted scene is an alternative ending to the movie, where instead of King Candy & the Cybug fusing into one entity followed by the entity dying in a soda stream, instead King Candy gets eaten by the Cybug, however King Candy respawns, to which the Cybug eats him again, and it is stated by Alan Tudyk once again that this happens over & over. Then later in the movie we would have seen King Candy come back with a super exaggerated grin, to which someone asks "What happened to you?" To which KC responds, "Well...When you travel through the extent of a colon of an animal several times a day for a long period of time. . . it changes a person!"

I will include both archives of the original videos here: Wreck it Ralph - Lost Media

Hello all!

Bit of an odd request. I recalled this strange experimental music video (or potential parody?) from one of the old media aggregator websites or newsletters from the mid-2000s -- possibly eBaum's or b3ta.

It features a guy, possibly German, dancing in some sort of steam tunnel (as far as I can recall) with a discordant music track behind it. He sings "Nutella. Nutella. Nutella. Gummibär sandwich." At one point, he grabs on to something and there's a slow-motion thrusting or gyration of the hips. It's very weird to say the least but I'd love to find out if it's actually a genuine attempt at artistic media or a parody of weird German new wave.

Due to the enshittification of internet search in recent years, all results I can find are of TikTok videos of people making actual Nutella sandwiches and no amount of Google hacking will help me. Perhaps one of you guys has better luck.

I'm not familiar with the site myself unfortunately (this tweet about its closure came up on my feed by chance), but from what I understand this host was a popular option in Japan for Vocaloid and adjacent media, alongside game mods and various other assets. Seems like this loss could have a pretty substantial impact to all sorts of online communities in Japan.

I've been researching the obscure multimedia adaptations of Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar (ピューと吹く!ジャガー), a Weekly Shonen Jump gag manga by Kyosuke Usuta, best known for Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san.

The series also gained some recognition through crossover games, with Jaguar appearing as a support character in J-Stars Victory VS, alongside characters from major Weekly Shonen Jump franchises such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, and many others.

Although the manga ran for 20 volumes and even received a live-action film, most of its animated adaptations are surprisingly difficult to find today.

The first Flash-animated OVA series produced by FROGMAN (Volumes 1-3) has largely survived online in varying quality.

To my knowledge, no complete public preservation of the Return of Yaku Ichinenburi DVDs or the Cinema The Movie Box bonus disc currently exists.

Only one episode, Kamisama no Oose no Toori ni, appears to have surfaced online years ago through Nico Nico Douga. I have not been able to locate complete DVD rips or ISOs for any of the three volumes.

Missing Movie Box Bonus Animations

The limited-edition release of:

Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar: Ima, Fuki ni Yukimasu Cinema The Movie Box

included a bonus disc containing:

• Ato, Hamii mo Kimasu
• Hamii no Chara Betsu Shindan
• Manner Movie (Jump Super Anime Tour Version)
• Manner Movie (TOHO Cinemas Version)

These are documented in product listings and promotional materials, but I have been unable to locate the actual videos.

The Hamii-related content appears to have been exclusive to the box set.

What Has Been Found

Some material from the franchise has survived online:

• Kamisama no Oose no Toori ni (Return of Yaku Ichinenburi Vol. 1, Episode 3) https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12097446
• Jaguar Manner Movie (appears to be one of the theatrical manners shown before screenings) https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm6121511
• Both known surviving uploads are only available in low quality.
• Product listings, reviews, collector documentation, and DVD descriptions exist for all known releases.

Sources Checked

• CDJapan
• Liverpool official product pages
• TOHO DVD listings
• BookOff
• Yahoo Flea Market
• Mercari
• Bangumi
• Japanese Wikipedia
• Comic Natalie
• Nico Nico Douga
• Internet Archive
• BiliBili
• Various torrent indexes

Although the content discussed in this post is difficult to access online, the DVDs themselves are not impossible to find. Copies of the OVA releases and the Cinema The Movie Box still appear for sale on Japanese second-hand marketplaces. The main problem appears to be the lack of public preservation, digitization, and sharing of the contents rather than the complete disappearance of the physical media.

Any help from Japanese collectors or owners of the DVDs would be especially appreciated.

Greetings. Back in the late-2000s (2009), I came across this remix titled "The Defiled Shrine," a remix of "A Sunken Aqueduct" from the original soundtrack for Demon's Crest (developed and published in 1994 by Capcom for the Super Nintendo), originally composed and arranged by Toshihiko Horiyama.

I would listen to this remix back in the day, when Windows Media Player used to stream random songs and remixes from various sources. Later on, I learned it was part of (more specifically, Track 8) a fanmade music release titled Ultima, created by one Joaquin Velez, AKA Joaquin X. I suppose it got lost/erased from the Internet as time went by, online domains came and went.

I've searched Google, the Internet Archive, and the Wayback Machine, to no avail. As far as I know, "The Defiled Shrine" is the only song from this set currently present and accounted for.

The show was on from 2004-2006. Most episodes have been archived in a playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNO6IYq6SI9UONkTFwHCFl5Ksk_wGcBCe

however, some episodes seem to have been removed over time. S1, E2. S1, E11, S2 E6, S2 E9 specifically

the only torrent for the show has zero seeds which makes it impossible to download in full. essentially telling me it's not out there anymore. Along with that, shady dvd sites that claim to be selling the show cost $120 USD for the full run of the show. which is questionable when it comes to a 20 year old show that has never had an official dvd release.

On April 22nd 2012, a post was created on the site guitars101.com from user "klajess" making mention of the Queen concert they had recorded. The performance is mentioned as being from the 1st July 1986 in Zurich. What makes this recording so valuable is not only its uncirculating status, but the fact this would complete Queen's final tour "The Magic Tour" as far as audio recordings go. Unfortunately, the download link for the recording is down. The site it had been shared on, "RapidShare" has also since went defunct as of 2015.

From what we can gather in the comments of the post, the download link went down sometime prior to the 9th July 2013, narrowing the download window of the recording down to roughly a year. Currently no other downloads of this recording have been found online, nor is there any evidence to suggest the file was uploaded elsewhere.

At some point within the last few years, a couple members within the Queen community had managed to get in contact with the uploader. Through this, it was confirmed that the tape was no longer in the uploader's possession as it had been lost in a move, and they no longer had access to the file.

for context, these records were used by The Caretaker, and they were likely pressed by Eroica Recording Services Ltd, released likely with white labels. the records were also very rare, likely less than 50 copies were pressed, the only one we know about, albeit, it isnt available on the internet in full quality, is owned by the caretaker. the st luke's passion vinyl, more specifically the 31st song on it, which was found to be "Lasst Mich Ihn Nur Noch Einmal Küssen" or "O Jesu Christ" from St Luke's Passion, was used in the final 6 minutes of R1 - Place in The World Fades Away from Everywhere At The End Of Time Stage 6, both the organ record and st luke's passion record were used in full in The Caretaker's 2007 album, Deleted Scenes, Forgotten Dreams, but it had heavy reverb added to the album, slowed, and reversed, and i need your help, please help find this. the search has been not but also kind of prominent in the Caretaker community, but i want this to get more attention.

also, if you know someone or if you are someone who owns at least one of these records, please reach out to me and provide a rip of the record and a picture of the vinyl.

NOTE: any lead is welcome. if you recognize either recording, have information about Eroica Recording Services Ltd. pressings, know of a possible catalogue entry, or own a copy of either record, please get in touch. photographs of labels and sleeves, catalogue numbers, track listings and audio recordings could all help. please distinguish confirmed information from guesses so we can keep the search organized.

Riptide GP was the first ever console quality water racing game created by vector unit that was released on mobile back in may of 2011.

But before its full release there was a demo version of the game that was released that is now partially lost.

In a video that was released 15 years ago in Feb of 2011

4 months before its official release.

You can see the demo being showcased on the TV.

https://youtu.be/uMzXiy9OqpY?si=iOxAgUB9--MaTrxV

In the full release version of the game you have 7 racers you can play as but from what I've seen with old trailers and teaser images for the game there were racer models that were cut or scrapped in the final release. I counted at least 5 unused models.

Here are some old trailer gameplay: https://youtu.be/qkNUjILt-s4?si=pOiaSGXmSLW61fG6 https://youtu.be/2dK3-ReZXJM?si=H_FLy8HdTVEEkuiI

not sure if there is an old version that has those cut racer models or if it's a version of the game only for the developers.

EDIT: Found another old video showcasing the demo but in this video you can see the cut racer models racing in the water.

The tradition of the Christmas log or La tradition de la bûche de Noël is and The Legend of The Christmas Tree or La légende du sapin de Noël are 3D French Canadian films created by 10 Ave that I watched years ago. I am currently looking for the English dub which I think I watched on Treehouse Tv during the 2000s.
The Tradition of The Christmas Log is about the first ever Christmas Eve celebrations at a chateau while a girl is there and talking animals like a raccoon is also there. The Legend of The Christmas Tree has a sentient tree about to be chopped down but the woodland critters and a human boy don’t want their tree friend chopped down. I remember the ending was a snowstorm appeared and it gave the tree a pretty appearance which makes the priest who planned to chop it down change his mind.

https://10ave.com/en/2004/12/the-tradition-of-the-christmas-log-third-3d-animation-movie/

Here’s links to articles about them on 10 Ave website.
So anyway, I’m asking if anyone knows remembers them and also is there anyway to watch the English dubs of those movies because I can’t find any English dvds.

Hi everyone!

I'm researching Canadian WWII fighter ace George
"Buzz" Beurling, and I'm trying to track down his episode of the Canadian historical biography series The Canadians, originally titled Faces of History. The series aired on History Television in Canada in the late 1990s and was produced by Great North Productions.

I've searched online but haven't been able to find the Beurling episode, or any other episode of the series, available to watch.

Does anyone happen to have a recording of this episode, know where the series might be available, or have any suggestions for finding it in an archive or private collection?

Thanks!

Hello! I've been looking high and low for a made-for-tv film called The Golden Moment: An Olympic Love Story (1980).

I have found a partial digital copy on YouTube; however, it's missing roughly 15 to 30 minutes of actual footage. My wife watched this movie repeatedly (on Betamax!) when she was young and she desperately would like to find a copy of it.

The movie stars Stephanie Zimbalist, David Keith, and Richard Lawson. It was about an American athlete and a Russian gymnast meeting just before the Moscow Olympics and they fall in love. It was released in 1980 as a TV film.

I've searched eBay and various older media websites. I do not believe it was re-released on DVD or Blu-ray, so my best bet is an old VHS tape or maybe a digital rip that's buried somewhere.

Below is the IMDB listing for the film. If anyone could point me to a full copy (either digital or physical!) I would greatly appreciate it.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080805/

I mean stuff like mass produced pieces of a certain thing where only a few have survived into the current day. One example I can think of is the Gutenberg Bible, the first book published with mass produced metal movable type. Out of the either 158 to 180 original books published, only 21 of them have survived in full, with around 28 more copies having survived with at least some of their pages still intact. I find this topic really interesting as while they're obviously not lost, it's not like they're plentiful, so it's interesting to see what has survived into current day.
